21 Chapter 21 – Twin Dragons
Zhu Xuan and Bai Ling walked towards the Inner city wall, leaving a terrified group of people behind them.
They didn't talk on the way and walked side by side. Bai Ling realised Zhu Xuan was not in a good mood and she was not sure what to tell him so she kept silent.
Bai Ling showed her clan emblem at the entrance of the inner city wall and they both entered the inner city. After they walked a while, Zhu Xuan stopped, looked up at the sky and calmed himself down.
He let out a sigh, turned and faced Bai Ling and spoke "Bai Ling, I'm really sorry about how I acted earlier. He said something he shouldn't have and I have lost myself in anger. I'm sorry if I created any trouble for you."
Bai Ling relaxed after hearing Zhu Xuan and said "It's not a problem at all Young master Shen. He is the one who was out of line, and truthfully I was also bothered by him but unable to do anything to him because he has the clan's Grand Elder behind him."
She paused and continued "You should be careful when you leave. He is a malicious person and he might do something to you."
Zhu Xuan smiled and said "Don't worry, I will be careful."
She was about to say something but she controlled herself and didn't speak of it. But Zhu Xuan saw her reactions and deduced that she wanted to ask something, so he said "What is it Bai Ling? You seemed like you wanted to ask something to me."
Bai Ling stuttered a bit and finally said "It's just that can I ask what it is he said that made you so angry? Bai Ling silently listened to what he said and thought back to how he saved them twice in the Mountain, fighting the warthogs without any fear, and later took them to his place for them to heal instead of leaving them to die. She felt he was a brave person and someone who do what he feels right at that time, but she never thought there is such a reason behind his way of doing things.
She also wondered who it is that Zhu Xuan lost, but since he is not willing to say, she didn't ask. She looked up at his face and found him looking at the sky with a sad face. She subconsciously reached her hand and touched his hand to comfort him. Zhu Xuan jolted awake from his memories when he felt the touch and looked at Bai Ling who looked at him with a concerned face.

He smiled at her kindly and said "Thanks Bai Ling for worrying about me. I'm fine now."

After walking for a while, they reached the Qinglu treasure pavilion and entered the pavilion. Bai Ling calmed down by now and she asked "Where do you want to go first Young master Shen?"
Qinglu Treasure pavilion has everything in the pavilion unlike the clans. For example, his Zhu clan apart from technique pavilion also has blacksmith pavilion, resources pavilion, alchemy pavilion. But Qinglu pavilion has all of them in a single pavilion, divided into various sections. It even has array master section, jewellery section, and rare treasures section etc., basically you can buy anything you want here in Qinglu treasures pavilion.
He thought about it and said "Let's go to the Technique pavilion first." He already has auxiliary techniques for five of his elements and need techniques for two more elements.
They entered the pavilion and found a middle aged man standing in the counter. He got up and said "Welcome to the techniques pavilion. What technique would both of you would like to buy?"
Zhu Xuan replied calmly "I need techniques related to metal elements and lightning elements of high tier human grade."
"Wait a moment Young master. Let me get the scrolls for you" After saying that, the middle aged man went to get the scrolls.
Bai Ling was confused as to why he is selecting something other than fire elements technique. When she asked about it, he said he is buying this not for him but his teammates who are going with him to the mountain to train.
The person from the counter brought about 30 scrolls. After verifying, he bought two scrolls for 8000 gold coins.
First, Lightning Net entrapment technique which he believed would be good choice for when he encountered multiple enemies, and he also want to study it to see if he can modify like his fire techniques and to utilise it in many ways.
Next, Sky Slash sword technique of metal element is an overbearing technique which focuses on strength and dominance. He already has water element technique for flexibility and swiftness, and with a sword technique focusing on strength, he has versatility of offensive sword attacks.
After purchasing these two techniques, they went to Resources pavilion, and Alchemy pavilion. They spent 30000 gold coins and bought high grade resources for all seven elements.
Then they visited Array pavilion, and Secret treasures pavilion. But either they are too low level in cultivation to use these treasures or they can't afford it. After buying so many, Zhu Xuan was left with little less than 30000 gold coins and he needed to use it wisely. So he only just checked these treasures to learn about them to improve his knowledge.
Next they entered the Blacksmith pavilion. They found various types of weapons and armours in it. Zhu Xuan actually decided to get his weapons from Zhu clan's blacksmith pavilion so he was not very much interested in these weapons, but he still checked them to find what all types of weapons and variations are there among weapons and armours.
While he was checking, he found twin black swords in a corner in the sword section. He felt a familiar feeling towards these swords. So he went up to them and observed them closely, and found them similar to curved swords used for slashing and chopping in Earth, and they are called Dao swords in China. They are the length of two feet. He was fascinated by these twin swords.
He asked the store owner about the swords. The owner said "These swords are mortal swords with no array installed in them. The materials used to make the swords are a rare element found by a famous blacksmith in a mystery realm, and he made these twin blades using those elements and rare materials. But after he crafted the sword, he was unable to place any arrays on the sword, so it is only considered a mortal sword."
After hearing the explanation, he was even more intrigued by these swords. He wanted to check and see check whether it suits him. So he took the sword in his hand, but as soon as he touched the swords, a resonance came from the dragon shaped pendant he is wearing on his neck.
Now he understood where he felt the familiarity when he saw the swords. He thought "Store owner said the sword is made of rare element found in a mystery realm. May be the rare element used to make the dragon shaped pendant and this twin swords are the same, or there is some relationship between the rare element and the owner of the Origin system. I should ask Senior Long about it when we meet the next time."
So, he decided he should buy the twin swords whatever it takes, and he asked the store owner for the price and the store owner replied "Since the materials used in the swords are high grade, even though it's a mortal twin swords, we charge 15000 gold coins."
Zhu Xuan didn't even hesitate and paid 15000 gold coins to buy the swords. He held them in his hands and felt they are well balanced and he felt natural holding them. He asked the store owner for the name of the sword, but the store owner said since it is a mortal sword the swords were not named.
He thought about it, and decided "Since these twin swords are related to dragon shaped pendant, I will call them Twin Dragons."
