44 Isn’t this a cheat?
The rest of the ceremonial speech went without a hitch, without putting account the fact that Ark was in the spotlight constantly.
For example,
"Everyone, I am expecting you to not only excel in the art of battle but also the mind. Just like your fellow student Ark."
Or
"The teachers are always there to answer your questions, however, you can always ask a fellow peer. I'm sure students like Ark would be happy to answer."
Absolutely embarrassing.
(Dusk) That was bad for my mental health.
Ark especially couldn't stand the way people know looked at him.
Some people looked at him with disdain, others with envy and admiration. Lastly, people glared at him with hate, especially some nobles.
Why you ask?
Well... it was because of the headmaster, again.
"Look at Ark, he looks more noble like than most noble students."
And
"Hahaha, you deserve to be a noble than those idiotic wannabe gentlemen."
(Dusk) This headmaster really has something against nobles, doesn't he?
Yes, I can see that from the way he advocates for equality. Maybe that was why he was rejected as headmaster the first time.
But there was one thing that was very important about the speech.
"Open Status."
The headmaster brought with his promotion, a new downloadable program for PAICs. The status program.
In front of Ark, was a holographic image of an all too familiar white box. The status program was basically a stereotype rpg game brought to life. It made the PAICs in our brain do a body scan and organize our attributes into numbers.
[Name: Ark(UnAw)
Rank: Mid Bronze
Race: Human Elements: Shadow(III) Fire(V)
Status: Healthy Mana: 200/200
Strength: 8 Dexterity: 15
Agility: 13 Spirit: 10
Intelligence: -ERROR- Charisma: -ERROR-
]
UnAw meant that Ark had yet to awaken, mid bronze was basically another word for rank 1.
Bronze, iron, sliver, gold, elite, master, grandmaster, and legend ranks correspond with ranks one through 8.
The roman numerals next to the elements symbolized the affinity towards the elements. V was 50% to 60% affinity, IV was 60% to 70%, III 70% to 80%, II was to 90%, and I was up to 100%. However, only elements could reach 100% affinity, at least none have broken this rule.
Status was the state your body was in, and mana was how much mana you had.
Strength was body strength. Unlike classic RPG's, strength was power and defense. The stronger you were, the more you could take. Dexterity was the amount of control you had over your body. Agility was how fast you could go. These were the physical attributes.
Spirit and intelligence were the magic attributes. Spirit was how much mana you had and how fast you could recover it. Intelligence was how well you could control magic, IQ, and willpower.
Charisma was basically looks and aura. A useless stat in my opinion.
A average normal person has 5 in each stat from there the individual talent could be seen. Those who had higher physical stats would choose warrior classes. Those with higher magic stats would choose mage professions. Sometimes both.
However there was one thing weird with Ark's status.
Why was his intelligence and charisma errors? Was it a program bug?
(Dawn) the program seems to be unable to represent your charisma and intelligence into numbers.
I was that ugly? I understand that I'm smart but ugly?
Ark put away the status screen and let out a sigh.
So I am destined to be a loner for an eternity...
(Dawn) You have me sir.
But you don't have a physical body.
(Dusk) Are we not tangible in our throne world?
Ark stopped before exclaiming.
"YOU'RE RIGHT!"
"What do you mean right? Did I say something?"
"It's nothing."
The fact that they were tangible in the throne room could also mean that they could be tangible in the real world. But that was only if Ark's body disappeared when he went into the throne room. If he couldn't, oh welp, it was worth a try. If he could however, that would mean that Ark, Dusk, and Dawn could go out into the real world.
(Dusk) Holy shit. We need to test this as soon as possible. I finally have hope to have sex.
(Dawn) ... scum...
(Dusk) shut it, I don't want to hear it from someone who was about to give her self away.
(Dawn) !!!
...Hey Dusk...
(Dusk) Yeah?
We seem to be similar in almost every way... except that you seem to be a more perverted version of me...
(Dusk) HOW DARE YOU SAY THAT TO YOUR ALTERNATE SELF!
(Dawn) I have to agree sir.
(Dusk) WHY DO YOU HAT ME DAWN? I'M LITERALLY THE SAME PERSON AS ARK!
Except for the fact that you are a pervert.
(Dusk) YOU-
(Dawn) Waste has been quarantined.
Well done.
Back on to the subject. If we could take things out from the throne room, couldn't we technically bring things in?
Hmmm. I'll add that to my list of things to research.
Ark opened his status screen again.
"Open status."

Ark couldn't help but sigh.
I thought that having a six pack would make me strong... oh wait. I am considerably stronger than a normal person, just weak when compared to awakened people.
I should really improve my strength... how do I do that-
Ark froze while staring at his status screen.
"No way."
James turned around with an exasperated look.
"Will you stop talking to yourself?"
Ark ignored him.
"This has to be a cheat."
"What is supposed to be a cheat!"
Ark stared at his mana capacity and spirit stat in stupor.
Those specific stats had tripled.
For example,
"Everyone, I am expecting you to not only excel in the art of battle but also the mind. Just like your fellow student Ark."
