(Author) "Anyways, as I mentioned before, I shall be making a few adjustments to my writing style.

First: it shall be in first person view (I will be using "I" and "me")

Secondly: parenthesis will solely be used for mental communication such as

Ex:

"Ark will be r***d"

(Ark) what the fuck author

(Evil Ark) pls separate me from him when you do.

"It will be something like that."

(Author) "you may continue to read..."

(Ark) not like we have that many people reading this book in the first place.

(Author) "!!!"

*screaming*

First period was English and I sat alone. Jason and Kali were separated from me because of fate so I usually just read in his class. My teacher saw me reading the book and nodded at me.

Next was science. We were required to mix chemicals together in science and to my horror I was placed with James. I hid myself under the desk as James mixed chemicals together. In a short while an explosion lit our table on fire. Sensing that danger had passed I got up from underneath the desk and saw James covered with soot and our teacher having a bewildered expression.

(Evil Ark) I thought we were never going to let James touch chemicals? What happened to that rule?

(Ark) I tried ok, but he won't listen.

As James went to the showers to wash himself I heard the teacher muttering.

"How did he blow up soap, salt, sugar and pepper?"

I was tempted to reply, "because it is James ma'am."

(Evil Ark) Can I say it then?

(Ark) Shut up.

In art we got free time so I slept. In social studies we learned about Alexander Hamilton and were required to work in partners. I was paired with Kali this time and had an easy time. She finished the sheets in a flash.

Lunch went by excruciatingly slow due to the fact that I had no money and a hungry stomach.

Why must God tempt me with the forbidden hamburger? James seeing that I was hungry gave me a pop tart. I will serve lord James till the day I die.

(Evil Ark) Did you forget he almost killed you in science class?

(Ark) Oh right. Never mind then.

Spanish was easy, I finished a test with no trouble at all. Next was math, I sat in the corner as usual and waited for the class to end. While I was preparing to doze off, the troll-teacher called on me. As I walked up to the board with a blank expression, the teacher smiled evilly and some students sniggered.

The teacher and I had bad blood or at least she had some with me. I really don't know why or care, but it's probably because I don't pay attention during her boring lessons. As for the ones who sniggered, they are probably Jessica Spades, Anthony Gallows, and Percy Nobles. The Bully trio, who tried to make my life miserable as possible. But every time they tried to embarrass me, I would brilliantly destroy -excuse me- a force of nature stopped their plan.

Jessica was, I guess, a pretty girl. She hated me because when she was still "dating"-

(Evil ark) one sided relationship

-James, he was so much more talkative towards me than her or something like that. Don't ask me how that girl's brain works.

Anthony Gallows was a lean boy who hated me for god-knows-what reason. Percy Nobles was just like what his last name stated. A spoiled fat rich kid who didn't know of the true harsh world. He wouldn't last a second without his parents money.

Kids started betting on me if I would get it right. The odds were 8:1 in the favor of me getting it wrong. I saw Kali smirking as she bet with her friends.

(Evil Ark) That math hag thinks you can't solve this? What are we? High Schoolers?

(Ark) Technically we are.

(Evil Ark) Not my point.

I looked at the math equation on the board, took the marker and confidently wrote in big font.

The room went silent.

I returned to my desk and engaged into nap mode, but before I did I saw Kali giving me a thumbs up holding five bucks and a chocolate bar. She better give me some chocolate. I covered my head with my arms and continued to sleep for the rest of the class.

My final class was my most favorite. P.E. Coach McCusker was the best teacher in the history of my school. He gave us game days everyday and treated me like everyone else. But that's not all, James and Kali were also with me. The downside was the trio was also included.

After we finished warming up,abilities, and a lap around the field, coach st the field up for capture the flag. For some reason I was in the opposite team of the trio. I caught the coach's eye and he winked at me. Seriously, he is so cool.

Right when the tension grew to the max, the whistle blew.

"Let's go blue!"

"FIGHT!"

"BEAT EM UP!"

Seeing my teammates screaming war cries I did the same.

"FOR GLORY AND POP TARTS!"

On my side James grinned and we both ran into the enemy field. I ran through the enemy's line occasionally juking and side stepping people. Just when I was about to get in the safe zone, a passing guy slammed into me and we both fell down. We both tumbled and fell down. Groaning, I got up and saw my shirt grasped firmly in Anthony's hand. He had a triumphant smile.

"Got you," he said gasping.

(Evil Ark) Idiot.

(Ark) Screw you, my inner self.

(Evil Ark) How does that work?

(Ark) Damn it.

Angry at myself for being caught I dragged my feet to the prison. Then I saw James making it into the safe zone.

"GO JAMES!"

Hearing my cheer James turned my way and frowned. A moment later he yelled back.

"ARE YOU OUT?"

"IM DEAD! WIN FOR US!"

James turn and ran he went halfway to our side and threw the red football to a teammate, turned around and kept running. But this time to me.

(Evil Ark) This guy is an idiot.

Honestly, I had to agree.

"Hurry up, grab my hand. Let's get you free," James said reaching out his hand.

I grasped it and we walked to our side. I thought we got that point but it seems it was intercepted by the enemy. Once we reached the other side James and I split up and went back into dangerous territory. This time nobody was in my way all the way to their flag. I took the flag and was about to run for home base when coach blew the whistle.

"ONE POINT TO RED."

I then saw the boastful face of Jessica holding a blue football. James stomped the ground angrily.

"That should have been you," he grumbled.

"No that would've been you if you ran for the ball."

"...sorry."

I sighed. "It's alright, we'll get it next time. Plus you saved me, I have no right to complain."

(Evil Ark) But I can. Fuck you James.

At this time, Kali came in with a chocolate bar. Energized, we lined up once more and engaged into battle. It was chaos. Half of the blue team went in and half of that were insta-outed. I being one of the survivors rushed into the field and met the Guards. About ten defenders were in my way.

(Evil Ark) If you get caught again, I am going to disown you.

(Ark) Please do. Actually, just leave me wether I win or not. You are useless to me.

(Evil Ark) ...

The world seemed to slow down as I reached the ten defenders. My heart raced with a sense of familiarity. I sidestepped Percy easily and dodged the attackers coming from both sides. Straining my legs, I put on a burst of speed and entered the safe zone.

Now the original ten became about thirteen, hoping to prevent me from taking their flag. I looked around for assistance but sadly Kali was in jail and James was somewhere shrieking "FOR NARNIA."

Seeing no help I ran towards my base. I saw the guards running towards me. Too easy.

I suddenly stopped causing enemy one to run past me. Enemy two tried tripping me but I easily jumped over his leg. Enemy three and four crashed into each other after mis coordinations and five was juked. Six tripped causing seven and eight to do the same as well.

The remaining five were the trio and two boys. I ran towards them determined to win. Anthony reached for me but I could see him clearly and predict his next move. I easily dodged his hand, sidestepped Percy again, ducked enemy nine and twisted my body to avoid ten. Seeing her chance, Jessica reached out to grab me but I saw it coming in slow motion and dodged it. Seeing the road to freedom, I ran like never before and crossed the line.

(Evil Ark) Good job, idiotic version of me.

I collapsed, all out of air, but exhilarated. The whistle blew.

"ONE POINT TO BLUE!"

James rushed over and we gave each other hi fives. Kali was grinning like a kid. I looked at the trio and smirked. Ah, this was bliss. We then played a couple of more rounds.

When it was time for us to go home, coach reminded us about the field trip that was tomorrow. Glancing at the slip that was collecting dust in my bag, I felt a sense of despair.

I wryly smiled.

"Thanks, I'll need it. See you tomorrow."

"Bye Ark."

"Adios."

After hearing their answers, I steeled myself to get it signed no matter what.

(Evil Ark) This is going to fail miserably.

(Ark) What do you know.

(Evil Ark) As much as you.

I went silent.
