21 Prince Tirrel Vold Part 1 Ethon's story
Tirrel Vold.
He was the most famous boy in all the kingdom.
Since he was born, his fate was already decided, well at least that was what the kingdom thought.
Tirrel had a beautiful gold-like long hair, he always comb his hair in a ponytail. His eyes were ultramarine and there was a bright in each one. His skin was soft like jade, white like porcelain. His lips were pink and soft like petals. If not because people knew him, everyone would mistake him for a beautiful young girl. Even Ethon was amazed by his appearance and confused. He thought that Tirrel was a girl the first one he saw him. Ethon knew he was a boy when Tirrel presented himself.
Tirrel and Ethon were the best friends.
They were always making jokes inside the castle.
One day, Ethon and Tirrel were laying in the garden watching the flying birds. It was a peaceful day.
"Hey! Ethon! I was thinking about something..."
"Didn't hurt Tirrel?"
"Haha, so funny. I was thinking that it is time for you to learn how to read and write. Imagine if the other royal families come and find out that my dear and best friend Ethon doesn't know how to read and write! How embarrassing!" Tirrel was serious in the first sentence he said, but the next words were full of sarcasm.
"Yes, imagine the embarrassment you will suffer. I would ask some maids to record everything, specially your face" Ethon counterattacked with a grin.
Tirrel looked at him with a dramatic expression that seemed to be offended with Ethon's words.
Some seconds passed and the two boys laughed happily.
"However, I'm serious about you learning how to write and read. I would like that you could even learn other languages, that can give you some protection" Tirrel said seriously, there was no hint about joking this time.
Ethon became reflexive about what Tirrel was talking about. Since Tirrel found him, the Magician Head took Ethon to do the test to know what was or were his primordial element in magic. The test was simple, but the resources were expensive. To know what is your magic element, the tester needs a special crystal that was the size of an adult fist. The crystal's name was Seven-Color Gem. Actually the crystal was transparent, colorless. The reason that it was named like that was because when a person touched it, it would change into the color that represented the element. Sometimes it would appear different colors at the same time meaning that that person had two or more affinity of the five basic elements, or a combination between the five basic elements, or the both. Of course it was a strange phenomenon and the ones who achieve that special circumstances were called genius like their beloved Prince Tirrel.
However, when touched the crystal it didn't emanate any color meaning he didn't have an affinity in any element. In the other hand, Tirrel was bless with the five basic elements and also with its purest form. Nevertheless, the Magician Head was no sure with the fifth color that was something between gold and copper colors. He didn't find the element that represented so the Magician Head thought it was the lightning element in its purest form.
"You mean that I can't learn magic so I'm powerless" Ethon answered Tirrel with a emotionless voice.
"I didn't intend to say that, because you are the best with contact combat in all the kingdom. You are anything but powerless" Tirrel smiled.
His best friend Ethon was not just his friend, he was his brother and bodyguard. There was an incident when Prince Tirrel went hunting with five men including Ethon. They were ambushed and the ambushers tried to kidnap Tirrel but Ethon stopped them, when that people knew they failed they tried to kill Tirrel but Ethon received the attack. One of they five men returned to the palace calling for help. When they arrived, two of their men were dead and the other two were gravely injured. One of the two who were injured was Ethon. Tirrel was fine without a scratch.

Since that incident, the king was amazed with Ethon's bravery and he also let Ethon to be with Tirrel all the time.
"There is no need for me to learn hiw to read and write, also I am fourteen years old. I am old to learn that" Ethon said.
Tirrel looked at him.
"Never is late to learn something new, bit if that is your the decision I'm not going to discuss with you anymore about the topic"
"Thank you for you comprehension..." Ethon was saying while his smile suddenly froze. The next words of Tirrel were like a death sentence.
"I am ordering you to learn how to read and write. You have two years to accomplish your mission" Tirrel said nonchantly.
Ethon was stunned.
"Hey! That's absolutely not fair!" Ethon was in a frenzy state. He never thought that Tirrel was going to order him to do something so trivial.
Actually, Tirrel was laughing inside. The face expression in Ethon's was something so funny but he knew he needed to maintain his serious expression to let Ethon know that he was serious with the order.
The day passed and Ethon knew he wasn't a good learner so he began to study.
Tirrel observed him and his lips curled up.
It was the first time Tirrek saw Ethon giving his all in something. Close-combat and tamer were the areas where he was the best, and was really skillful.
Two years after...
Tirrel was taking a walk in the hallways of the palace thinking about the mission that his father gave him. He didn't know what was the correct thing to do. Tirrel understood that he was sixteen years old now and that he must know how to rule a kingdom. However, Tirrel wasn't agree with his father's way of govern. Tirrel felt that he could change some laws.
Ethon finally learned how to read and was taking a rest of his study session. He found that Tirrel was acting strange, so he got closer to him.
"Tirrel, what are you thinking? You seem distract" Ethon told him with concern.
They were like brothers and they knew their attitudes perfectly.
Tirrel looked at him with confusion, it was like he was still in deep thought. Tirrel continue walking while ignoring Ethon completely. Ethon was surprised with Tirrel's behavior, but he understood that Tirrel was facing something of most importance if that provoke ignoring him. Ethon left.
Tirrel was thinking about something that his father said after he mentioned the mission, but he couldn't know how to react. It was the first time that his father was so serious with him about something and Tirrel knew the reason behind the words of his father. Firstly, Tirrel was encommend to fight the survivors members of the Light and Darkness clans, and secondly to find the ones of those people with the purest element of Light and Darkness and kill them, they were the most treatening danger that their kingdom was facing. But the third part of his father's words were the ones that got him scared.
His father's words were clear like the water: we have a traitor inside our court, the suspicious one is your closest friend, Ethon Kyles.
