4 The Trip to the Academy Aegiri's story
The elder from the Great Royal Academy arrived to Dendelion Village. All the 5 years old kids were waiting with zest, because it was a rare opportunity to go to that privileged school. Elder Esti was waiting for Aegiri to return "Why is she being this late?". The elder took out of his pocket a strange stone "The stone will bright with the color and intensity that the child has of its element or power, and how strong is its affinity to that element respectively..." he explained with a calm and soft voice "... the child who pass this examination will go with me to the academy". The children made a line.
The first child touched the stone that the elder had in his hand, and a bright yellow started to shine in a no-strong brightness "Sorry child, but you didn't pass, maybe in two years more", the boy cried. The six kids that left continue the examination. While the fourth kid was touching the stone, Aegiri finally appeared from the forest "Aegiri! You are late!" her grandmother was mad at her "Go quickly to the line, the elder is now testing the fifth kid" Aegiri embarresed wentt to the line and stayed waiting her turn. The elder looked at Aegiri "Well, you are the last. Please touch this stone with your hand" the elder reached it to her. When Aegiri touched the stone, this started to bright in six diferent colors, but the intensity of the bright was not as the villagers expected. The elder observed this reaction and thought "Hank told me she had five powers, but instead of five she have.. six?!" the elder knew that the intensity of the light was the minimum to pass the examination. He looked at Aegiri's eyes and he guess what happened "Your powers are sealed, aren't them?" Everyone at the village got surprised when Aegiri nodded affirmatively "Yes, elder. It was my carelessness" the elder kneeled to be near the girl "Would you tell me what happened" Aegiri nodde negatively, the elder sight, he determined that Aegiri didn't want any of the villagers know the reason "Ok..., maybe in some time the seal will be remove. Now, you approved the examination, so that means you will attend the Great Royal Academy". Only three kids passed the examination, with Aegiri include. The elder told the children to take their belongings and say bye to their family.
Parents knew that their children would be separeted from them after the examination, but even they prepared, parents and children cried. Aegiri step in front of her granmother "Aegiri, take care of yourself and don't let anyone trample you" Aegiri nodden affirmatively, and with tears in her eyes, she hugged her grandmother and vice versa. The three kids took their belongings, and with tears in their eyes, they followed the elder.
"Kids, we are going to go to another villages to recruit childen of your age and then, we will go directly to the academy passing first the Jadee city" the three nodded affirmatively. The elder made a move with his hand, and a carriage appeared with to beautiful wind horses or Cartokens "Please get inside, the travel is going to start" the kids wathced amazed the carriage and got in like lightnings, the elder laughed.
During the travel, Aegir saw many kinds of species like fairies, reptile men, feline people, little people, etc. She was excited. They arrived to the next village. The elder told them to stay in the carriage while he was examinating those children's village. After he left, the other two kids felt sleep because of the test and the travel. Aegiri wanted to be all the trayect awake. It passed like four hours when the elder returned to the carriage. Aegiri was drawing something that the elder didn't recognized. Aegiri realized that the elder returned alone "What happened elder? Why you returned alone?" the elder turned his gaze to her "Aegiri, you need to learn that no everyone has the same skills, that means that some children would not go to the Great Royal Academy like you and those sleeping boys" Aegir thought "Maybe Ethon can't go to this school, I would like him to come with me. So sad that didn't happen". They continued the trip. Aegiri was absorbed by the landscapes they passed.
It was afternoon when they arrived to the last village. They passed by five different villages. The elder took time to return, and when he was returning to the carriage, two kids were coming with him, they were a boy and a girl. In total from the seven villages, just eight kids passed the examination of the elder.
During the rest of the trip, Aegiri looked at the sleeping kids. Everyone was tired now because of the travel, even Aegiri was getting sleepy "Aegiri, why don't you get a nap? We are still far from Jadee" he noticed Aegiri's eyes closing "I want to watch all the landscapes during this trip and make a draawing for..." she fell asleep. The elder smiled and continued the way to Jadee City. While the children were sleeping, the travel was not calm at all. The elder fighted four goblings that wanted to rob him. Of course, the elder won. After two hours passed, some shadows started to follow the carriage during all the trip. When the elder and children were arriving to the city, the shadows disappeared. The elder noticed their presence during the rest for the travel, and when they disappear without any trace, he thought it was strange. The shadows seem to be proctecting the carriage after the attack of the goblings. The elder prefer to not pay to much attention to that situation and entered to the city.
It was already night when the arrived, even if tha cartokens were fast, the villages were far away from the capital city named Jadee. In this city was the castle where the royal family live. Everyone knew how was the royal family, bit it's not time to mention them deeply. The elder went to an inn where he and the kids could pass the night.
The innkeeper helped the elder to take the children to the beds.
The next day, the elder woke and got up early. The kids were still sleeping. The innkeeper cooked the breakfast and the elder took it to the room where he and the kids passed the night. The kids woke up with the aroma of the breakfast. Everyone started to eat with enthusiasm. Some of the children seem to be poor and their not very good, so they enjoyed the food.
When everyone finished, the elder told them to be ready to go to the academy. Aegiri was mad because she fell asleep before they reached their destiny and lost a big part of the trip. However, she knew that that didn't matter now that they are in Jadee City. The elder took them to the academy. They walked because it was near where they stayed at night.
Finally, they were in front of the Great Royal Academy's portal and when they enter, they saw that there were like one hundred children "Everyone, please gather in the center and make a line to verify your identity and give you your respective class' schedule" a voice announced from the megaphones. All the children obeyed immediately. While the teachers checked that the paperwork of the children was correct, Aegiri watched carefully everything around him. It was the first time she had seen so many people her age gathered in a place as spacious as the main garden of the academy. Her dream had finally come true "Maybe I can find someone to help me with the seal on my powers, but I'm not in a hurry to solve it, I'd rather have fun during my life in school ..." , she suddenly slipped and fell to a boy "Hey, what's wrong with you? Do not you know who I am?" Aegiri was confused, I really did not have the slightest idea who the child she had crashed with was "I'm sorry, I'll be more careful". They boy who she fell with was the third prince. This boy was an arrogant kid who thinks that everithing must be like he wants. After the accident with Aegiri he got angry "You should apologize on your knees, if not I will tell to my father to put you in the prison cell", it was an unreasonable threat directed towards a child "I already saiy I'M SORRY" Aegiri replied with calm, she didn't want to get into trouble the first day in the academy. "You little..." the prince was interrupted by a voice "Third Prince Serd, please come to check that your papers are correct". The teacher who called him was a man in his thirties, he was using the megaphone. The prince got surprised by the voice that was commanding him, but his anger was concentrated on Aegiri "You saved yourself from this, remember who I am, scum" the prince left with his friends where the teacher was calling him. Aegiri was a bit confused, but she thought "I should be aware of this kind of people from now on".
The time pass, and it was getting late. Aegiri was patiently waiting for her name to be call.
"Aegiri from Dendelion, please come" The voice's owner was of a male teacher that was in his twenties, Aegiri got close and looked at him to the eyes "You are Aegiri, right? Well, I have been assigned to be your tutor and personal teacher. My name is Rodse, it is a pleasure to meet you" Aegiri nodded affirmatively "The pleasure is mine, teacher Rodse" the teacher took somethig similar to a tablet "Here is your schedule and your dormitory and room number" Aegiri took the tablet and looked once more to the teacher "But teacher, I don't how to read". Of course the teacher knew that "You can ask me until you learn, so don'nt worry" he smiled.
Aegiri asked him her dormitory and room number. She asked the directions and started to walk to her room. While she was walking, she remembered the elder, but he disappeared after she and the other children entered the academy's portal. She wanted to let him know her grattitude.
When she arrived to her door's room, there was noise inside it.
