12 Exploring Kuoh Town

The next morning I went to the first floor Rias and sona were attempting to make breakfast but seeing how it's the first time they are attempting this on their own is hilarious.'Should I just go out while they are distracted or should I wait until after breakfast' while thinking that rias managed to catch whatever she was cooking on fire sona tried to put it out but only made it worse. After seeing that I quietly left and started roaming the town.

About 30 minutes later I received a call from rias asking where I went I lied told her I was getting breakfast when I was actually searching for abnormal humans or other beings for my peerage. After I hung up the call with rias who was mad but I didn't care I kept walking for awhile somehow I managed to be in the outskirts of the town. After realizing I was out of the town I thought about turning back until I sense a weird presence up a head past a shinto shrine i found a way around the shrine I kept going I must be getting closer because I can hear voices.

When I finally caught up I bent down in the bushes so I wouldn't be noticed. I looked in between the leaves and branches what I saw made me angry. There was five full grown men attacking a girl with long black hair violet eyes and she looked to be around my age. She was fighting back with all she had using lightning magic but she didn't look like she could hold out for much longer.

There was a man that appeared to be the leader he looked like he was about 50's or 60's he had a short grey-beard and he only had hair on the sides of his head it grey also he had wrinkles. The man to his left looked to be about mid to late 30's he had brown hair with a red tint he was taller than the rest. The man to the right of the old man wore a hood and mask. The last two men both had black hair and smaller than the rest. they looked to be about late teens early 20's also could be twins.

The men were attacking her with swords she was bleeding from bleeding from multiple spots she looked exhausted. 'I can't sit here and do nothing but what should I do' while I was trying to think of a plan one man lunged at her from behind planning to end her life.

I form a ice spear using my demonic power and i throw it at the hooded man who is about to cut her. It hits him in the lower back bringing down as he shouts in pain. A couple of his comrades look dumfounded the rest go on high alert before any one can move I launch another spear hitting one of the twins in the throat. The oldest looking man starts giving out orders..

Old man:" Be on your guard find who is throwing those spears I'll kill the girl." saying this he approaches the girl with his sword ready to slash.

I shroud my right hand in lightning and my left with ice. I rush forward in attempt to save the girl. I strike with a combination of punches on the old man he drops after taking multiple hits. No sooner than I took him down the other twin ran for his life. With only one man remaining I gave him a option live or die. The next second the tall man had his sword raised to strike me but all of a sudden he seemed to panic as he felt something cold going through his chest in a split second.

I watched him trying to figure out what happened it was amusing to me 'should I do this again?' after a couple minutes he finally died I retracted my hand and his body dropped on the ground with the other dead and unconscious men. The girl was crying and bleeding I approach her slowly she look at like i'm a demon. I ask her

Vilkas:" are you okay?" the girl doesn't reply just stares at me trembling i ask again

Vilkas:" are you okay" still no reply

Vilkas:" My name is Vilkas what's yours" i say with a smile

Girl:"M...My... na..me...is...Akeno" she says while stuttering

Vilkas:" Nice to meet you Akeno are you okay? do you need to go to the hospital?"

Akeno:"N..No I'm...fine..."

Vilkas:" you sure I could carry you if you can't walk"

she shakes her head side to side

Vilkas:" why were those men attacking you?"

Akeno:"before...I answer promise... you won't laugh... or think i'm crazy please"

Vilkas:"I promise" suddenly everything went dark then images appear in them was a woman that look like akeno with big man with black feathered wings and akeno all together happy. Then one day the big fallen angel leaves after some time the woman who looks like akeno protects her from the attackers with her life akeno is crying. The next image i see is akeno running from her attackers that have been chasing her for at least a year or more. The next scene is right before I arrived and interfered. The final scene was Rias making akeno into her servant as a queen. 'Are these scenes the real? why does it seem like I have seen them before? I need to look into this later.' After seeing the images I see akeno staring at me with slightly worried expression once I regain my full consciousness back I ask her what she said.

Akeno:' I said...the reason those men are attacking is because my okaa-san and I were exiled from our clan and they are trying to clean up their mistakes."

Vilkas:" why were you exiled?"

Akeno:" maybe i'll tell you some other time you may try to kill me to if you found out what i am and besides what happened to you a few minutes ago?"

Vilkas:" I'm not entirely sure but it could be something good or bad. also what if I told what i am would you tell me?"

Akeno:"What do you mean?"

Vilkas:" Your not a normal human are you?

Akeno:" No.... fine you tell me what you are and I will tell you what I am"

Vilkas:" I'm a devil"

Akeno:" A...devil.."

Vilkas:" yes now what are you?" *shows wings*

Akeno:" I'm a half-breed of a fallen angel and a human you want to kill me now don't you" *shows wings*

Vilkas:"It's true I hate fallen angels but I actually wanted to make you a devil if you wanted to join me"

Akeno:" What do you mean?

Vilkas:"I mean I want to make you my servant you are aware that high class devils can have servants right"

Akeno:"No"

Vilkas:" Let me explain then"

After 20 minutes or so of explaining everything she thinks for awhile and asks

Akeno:"If I was to join you what piece would I be?

Vilkas:"hmm I saw you use magic so I think a bishop would be best for you what do you say?

She thinks for awhile before finally agreeing. After she agreed i performed the ritual and she officially became my first servant. As for the men who were left unconscious I asked her if she wanted to kill them herself or if I should kill them.

Akeno:"can we just leave them be?

Vilkas:"No because they could come after you again with more than this time"

Akeno:"I'll kill them they are my problem" saying that she took a sword and stabbed the old man three times in the chest and once in the face then she walked over to last guy he was waking up she carved a lightning bolt on his torso as he screamed before she slit his throat blood sprayed everywhere. Then she took the sword and stabbed the tall man that was already hit with an ice spear in the back of his neck leaving the sword planted there.

Akeno:" alright we can go" she was smiling

Vilkas:"We should find a stream or something to wash some of this blood off first."

Before we headed home I healed her wounds best that I can then we found a stream after about ten minutes of walking around we cleaned up the best we could well it's getting dark so hopefully no one notices the blood.

Then we started on our way home I told her about everything she needed to know about them at the moment.
