25 Ruthless measures

At this point, the Turan guy couldn't even say anything as he uselessly opened and closed his mouth, no voice got out of his mouth as they neared his body.

A guard held him completely so that Turan couldn't move, the second one held his dagger and brought it near Turan's left eye. The knife got deep in his eye as some fluid started to leak from his eye and Turan let out a heaven-shattering scream, "AAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH......…"

It startled many people who were near the area as they opened the windows of their houses, shops respectively and saw the tyrant Young lord Turan being held by a guard while the other gouging out his eye.

Finally, the guard was finished by gouging out the eye, he was rather unskilled as seen by the eyeball, it seemed as if quite a lot of fluid was leaked out during the process which inflated it a little.

But overall, the size seemed the same, Adam nodded as he glanced at the eyeball and gave them the next order, "Burn it." Now, they didn't have much of a problem with burning it, one of the guard simply called out for his friend to give him the fire.

Adam was surprised to see that guy shooting off fire with his hands, the eyeball started to burn as he ordered them. The guy held the eyeball in his hands for some moments before Adam gave out his next order, "Do you see this eyeball burning Turan? Don't worry, you are the next."

The guards gasped as they heard this, they couldn't imagine that this new lord was going to kill off the son of the General due to such a small matter. They were scared of the reaction of the general, just how would he react when he hears about this…

But they were also curious, they were curious as to how this new Town Lord would deal with the general, it seemed so unrealistic to think that this prince would be able to suppress the general under him.

After the eyeball was finished burning, and turned into slick stuff, he ordered the guards, "Good, now open his mouth and put it against that stone." He pointed at a large stone nearby as the nearby onlookers had a clueless look on their face from the strange order.

The nearby men and women didn't know what he wanted to accomplish with this order, but from the current situation, it doesn't look that it will be something good. Liliana didn't say anything from start to end as she didn't think she would be able to stop Adam right now.

She could detect the anger held by his voice, if she tried to stop him then he would hold onto his anger, besides, internally, she felt happy to see how he was defending her even though his way was ruthless to the extreme.

The guards hesitated for some seconds, before Adam raised an eyebrow and looked at them in their eyes, it was effective enough to make the guards gulped a mouthful of saliva and started accomplishing Adam's orders.

Two guards grabbed Turan's shoulders, surprising him, he started to struggle from their grasps while trying to shout things like, "Let me go!" or "Release me right now!". But all that got out from his mouth was an unintelligible sound.

He was also not physically strong enough to escape from the grasp of two strong guards, they started to forcefully move Turan to the big stone that Adam pointed.

The spectators watched with curiosity what would happen now, they saw one of the two guards putting his free hand on Turan's nose to block his breathe. Soon, Turan was unable to hold his breath and opened his mouth, in that moment, the other guard put his armored hand on his mouth, to avoid that he will close it again.

Turan was still trying to struggle uselessly, however when the difference between him and them is more than 1 stage, it was hard fighting them, and Turan was surely not a so-called "Genius".

Then the guard who had his hand on Turan's mouth successfully tried to open it wide and the other guard pushed his head on the big stone, putting a small edge of the stone between Turan's teeth.

The onlookers thought that Adam would order something crazy like [Eat the stone], but his next words dumbfounded everyone that heard him, "Now, stomp his head as hard as you can, and make sure his mouth will be open wide."

Hearing his order, even the guards who held Turan down felt pity for him, but they didn't try to complain as they stared into the eyes of Adam when he gave that order, he was completely serious with no intent of joking there.

"Forgive us, young master Turan." The third guard whispered so that only Turan could hear him before he smashed his foot on the back of his head. Everyone heard the crackling sound as Turan's teeth cracked under the pressure and broke up.

Almost all his teeth were gone making him look quite ugly, blood was flowing out and didn't seem like it was going to stop any time soon. They thought that it would finally stop there but Adam didn't have any intention to let it end, "Once more!!"

The guard once again smashed his foot on the back of his head without holding back this time, this time though Turan raised his head a little which caused there to be a little error in the position where the pressure was applied. So, instead of his mouth, it was applied to his neck.

The onlookers who were standing close to the scene heard the crackling sound of the bone before his head dangled from his broken neck, the only think that was still holding the head attached to the body were the muscles and skin.

As the onlookers gazed at those dead eyes with no particular reaction, they understood that he was dead and some of them started to scream in terror while Adam remained seated on his horse calmly ordering the men who had come with his belongings.

He glanced at the guards and ordered them, "Now clean up this mess. Also, show the way for my servants to put my belongings." The guards agreed to clean the mess, by mess, it meant the dead Turan in the middle of the street.

But as for his second order, the guards were confused as to how they should approach this, they started off by saying, "Lord, there is a problem with this. We weren't informed of you coming to this town so we haven't prepared a residence for you."

Adam coldly glanced at them as he started off with facts, "Every town has its own special residence given to the Town Lord by the King himself. Did you really just say that there is no residence for me?"

His words were without a hint of mercy as he targeted them and spoke to them in a mocking tone, the guards maintained a straight expression and replied back to him, "Actually, the general managed the city for quite some time so he has been living in that mansion."

Adam ruthlessly smiled as he spoke up, "So, he is basically living in my place. Ask him to get out then." The guard had a bitter smile on his face which clearly said 'It's not as easy as you think, Lord.'

But they didn't say anything back and decided to follow through his order, from the incident that had happened right now, it seemed as if their new lord didn't place the general in his eyes.
