23 Leonardo's silent challenge

Soon, a servant knocked on the door and called out for Adam, "Young Master, we have packed your belongings. Your horse and the men who will escort you are waiting for you below, please proceed now."

Adam replied back, "Alright, let's go now." He gently grasped Liliana's hand and moved out of his room, the servant was clearly surprised to see the young prince holding the hand of the maid but he didn't comment, no, rather, he didn't dare to comment.

He silently escorted them to the stable where they held onto Alex's horse, the cart with his belongings was also near that place, Adam observed the place as he noticed a way out of the stable, this made him certain that this must be the way out of the palace.

He was surprised to see some familiar faces, the ones he greeted in the hall. His fellow brothers, Washington and Leonardo Vermillion. They both also seemed to ready their horses for their journey…

But unlike Adam, they didn't bring anyone along with them as they had decided to venture to their territory alone. Washington saw Adam with his maid and decided not to leave this opportunity to mock him, "It's shameful to see that my big brother needs his maid to go along with him. Looks like you can't control your desires, it's disgraceful that you are my big brother in age."

Liliana was about to say something and take on the blame on herself but a quick squeeze of her shoulder made her understand to stay quiet. She didn't want the 4th prince to humiliate her young master but she also realized her own status and stayed quite, it would be inappropriate for a servant to speak for her master.

Adam clearly didn't intend to stay quiet at this moment, since they were going to be enemies later, he wasn't going to hold back his tongue right now, "Well, you can say the same to our father. If only he could control his lust then there would be one less idiot in this world…"

He even sighed at the end of his statement as if he felt some pity for the king to give birth to such a retard, this clearly worked in getting the 4th Prince Washington worked up while Leonardo cracked up. He glanced at Adam with a smile on his face and slowly gave an undetected nod.

Adam knew what this meant, it was Leonardo's way of saying 'You weren't in the wrong, if these words are heard by father then I will support you.'

Adam was confused as to why the first Prince Leonardo wanted to help him, from what he could see in his memories, he hadn't been close to his big brother after he was 7 years old, near the time of his mother's death.

Well, he decided not to think any more about this, he certainly wouldn't say no to a helper. As for Washington, he hit the ground with his foot with half of his full strength and nearly shouted, "The only idiot I can see is you, you are just a trash here while speaking as if you hold any importance to us."

Washington licked his lips as his slightly smirked in a ruthless manner expression as he spoke out, "I heard that your territory is Lervick town, it is already covered through the towns assigned to us. It seems as if father doesn't trust you with the border town…"

He was very arrogant over this fact, Adam didn't lose his cool and was about to reply before both of them heard a cool and mature voice, "Enough Washington! Do not treat it as a game. You do realize that Lervick town is going to be our support if things get too hectic, making the lord of that town angry isn't a ruler-like quality. You just destroyed an alliance link."

Both Adam and Washington's eyes widened as soon as they heard this, they couldn't imagine that it could be thought like that. Even Adam hadn't thought of this whole situation from this perspective.

Leonardo didn't wait for their reply as he went towards his white coloured horse and got up on it as he sat on his horse leaving them to think on those words.

Both interpreted it differently but there was one thing they were sure of, Leonardo was serious about becoming the king and he wanted them to be worthy rivals for himself.

He wanted to warn them that this isn't a game, it was real life. if they weren't serious then they wouldn't even realize before they are killed.

Adam took in a cold breath as he decided to ignore Washington and helped Liliana to sit on the horse, from her nervous movements, he observed that she didn't have any experience of riding a horse.

He didn't say anything and sat on that horse as he tightened his hold over the reigns of the horse, the horse calmed down and was under control.

He felt his body touching together with the nervous Liliana sitting right in front of him, his left hand snaked his way around her waist and pulled her even more closer to him. So close that she felt as if she was glued to him.

Liliana's face was bright red thanks to this but she didn't try to resist at all, instead, she melted in his embrace and tried to not make it difficult for him to ride the horse.

Adam didn't even take a look at Washington before he made his horse move towards the way opened up, he had already remembered the way to the Lervick town.

The journey was of 2 days for horse along with carts following his horse. They did take some small breaks in between but it was mostly of about 10 minutes before they started their journey to the Lervick town once again.

The servants following him with the cart had also gathered enough food to last for a week even if there was no town or village in the way.

It seems as if it was right of them to be so prepared since there were no villages and towns in between. They stopped to eat some meal and let the horses rest for some time and eat it's meal before they would start moving again.

On the way to the Lervick town, Liliana started getting used to his touch, she wouldn't be a blushing mess every time he touched her body. After Adam realized that she had gotten used to his touch, he slowly neared her face and whispered in her ears, "Liliana, you should have realized. I am interested in you, very interested in fact, do you like me as well~?"

Adam suddenly raised this question as he felt that it was better to get this conversation done once and for all. Now, Liliana felt her body's temperature suddenly rising several degrees as her mind finally registered what he asked.

Liliana also felt happy, this was what she dreamt about. She wanted to be his person, she wanted to be his lover. She wanted him to pay attention to her, it was her only wish.

And now, she felt her wish being fulfilled, her young master had just told her that she was important to him, he was interested in her. She was so happy right now that words weren't enough to describe this feeling.

Liliana knew that she shouldn't take such a long time to reply and spoke, "My heart has been yours for a long time young master~" She whispered those last few words so lightly, it was as if it was a mosquito making noise.

Yet Adam heard her words clearly, her response was within his expectation but he didn't understand why he was feeling such happiness over it.

He decided to talk more and spoke, "Alright then, from tomorrow, you are going to groom up better than this maid uniform." Against this, Liliana tried to interject as she softly spoke, "But young master, I am still your maid-"

"Stop this right there, you aren't going to be my maid now. You are going to be my woman, don't belittle yourself." Adam tried to instill this thought within her, she was still unconvinced but she didn't say anything against it.

Adam softly added, "I want to see you in beautiful clothes, can't I?" Hearing those soft words convinced her as she immediately replied, "Of course you can Adam."

Hearing her words made him smile as he heard her call him Adam without any of the young master thing. Soon, they stopped speaking as they got a glimpse of the Lervick Town, the town which he was going to manage.

He let out a sigh of relief as he was very tired with this journey, travelling on the horse was much more exhausting than he imagined. Besides, having a sexy and busty maid sitting in front of you with little to no distance with yourself makes the person pretty frustrated since he couldn't do anything other than touch her midriff and pull her close.

He had decided to take a bath of cold water to calm down his nerves and cool his body, otherwise he won't be able to think clearly. He waved his hands for the servants following him as if to motivate them and say "Come on, it's only a small distance away now."
