153 Don't Do It!

The following day.

Exactly at 8:00 am, Jessy finally awaken.

She woke up to a beautiful morning, she marveled at Adam's handsome face beside her, she has gotten used to his new look, he doesn't look bad though, he is eye candy for the majority of women out there but for her, he will always be her Adam, her soulmate.

She continues to stare at his face...tracing the contour of his face.

Adam smiled and opened his eyes, his hand moved to reach for Jessy's hands capturing it and he planted a kiss on her palm.

"Good morning!" she said cheerfully.

"Good morning, sweetie pie," he replied and grinned.

She cringed and giggled, so cliche! "Don't call me sweetie pie ever again," she bit her lip in amusement.

"Good morning my love!" he mumbled, giving her a lopsided smile.

Jessy rolled her eyes...she rose from the bed and entered the bathroom.

Adam entered the bathroom after Jessy was done with her morning ritual. He tried to pinch her cute nose but she ducked swiftly away from him, she was laughing.

Jessy changed into her cotton black pants and plain white t-shirt and let her hair loose cascading down her back. She waited for Adam to get out of the bathroom so that they can go to the canteen in the outer part of the Facility and eat mouthwatering human foods.

A few minutes later, Adam exited the bathroom and looked at Jessy. "Where are we going?"

"Let's eat breakfast in the canteen!" she said. "I want to eat fluffy pancake coated with strawberry syrup and hot chocolate coffee for my breakfast today," she was blabbering, her eyes gleaming.

Adam walked towards the door, he turned around and beckoned to her. "Come on...let's go to the canteen!"

Jessy sprinted from the bed and grabs Adam's right hand. "Let's go!"

They exited the room and walked in the hallway that will lead them towards the outer part of the Facility.

When they entered the canteen, it was deserted. The majority of human workers start eating breakfast as early as 6:00 in the morning 'coz they will start working in the dome tending to the plants at 8:00 sharp.

"Wow, the canteen is all ours!" Adam said in amazement.

Jessy laughed. "Were lucky today!" she pulled him towards the glass counter to see the variety of dishes displayed in there. She squealed in delight when she saw the remaining 5 pieces of pancake left in the counter. "I want all of that 5 pieces of pancake with strawberry syrup, then eggplant omelet and a cup of hot chocolate coffee, please!" she said excitedly. Adam inspected the remaining food, there were sandwiches, bananas, apples, ham, sunny side up egg, eggplant omelet, hot dog, chicken fillet, rice, and fried fish.

He pointed at the sandwich, chicken fillet, sunny side up egg and requested a hot coffee as well.

The smiling canteen attendant put all the chosen foods into the tray.

Adam and Jessy carry their food tray into the nearest vacant table and starts eating their yummy breakfast.

Twenty minutes later...

Jessy was rubbing her stomach feeling satisfied. "Wow, I'm so full! How about you Adam?" she looked at him...he was still eating the remaining foods on his plate.

Adam's eyes twinkled and made a thumbs-up sign with his finger to her. "The foods here taste super delicious!"

"You can have some fruits if you want," she suggested.

Adam shook his head. "Nah, I'm so full! I can no longer add more foods in my stomach," he said while sipping his coffee.

Jessy smiled fondly at her boyfriend.

"Let's go to the flower garden after you finish your coffee," she suggested.

"Sure, I will go wherever you want me to go," he said.

A few moments later, the loved up couple left the canteen and ventured into the dome where the flower garden was being housed and cultivated.

Inside the garden, the only saw five human workers attending to the flowers, they were situated at the far end.

Adam and Jessy settled comfortably on the bench nearest to them.

They scanned the multitude of flowers in front of them.

Occupying the center are white begonias and pink peony, on the left corner is the blooming pink and red roses and on the right corner are the yellow and red striped tulips, all flowers were in full bloom creating a colorful magical scenery around them.

The explosion of bright colors are breathtaking to see, it can dazzle a human soul and leave anyone in awe.

The couple held the hands of each other, they were cocooned in loving comfortable silence.

Jessy looked at Adam, he seemed to be preoccupied. "Hey, penny for your thoughts...what are you thinking?" she asked curiously.

Adam looked at Jessy. He thinks it's now the perfect time to tell her about his plan. "Jess, I am planning to transfer all my powers to my brother Zain, what do you think about my plan?"

Jessy bit her lower lip in shocked. Suddenly the flowers in front of her were rapidly losing their appeal, she no longer feels good.

Adam saw the sudden change of Jessy's expression, there's raw apprehension in her eyes.

"No! Don't ever do that!" she finally retorted.

Adam frowned upon hearing the hard resistance on Jessy's voice. "Huh? Why?"

Jessy looked at him hard in the eyes. "If you do that, Zain will harm you if you no longer have any power to defend yourself, he will break us apart, although he can't hurt me, he won't hesitate to hurt you even if you are his brother, just don't do it. Just stop thinking about it, please..." she said.

Adam sighed deeply, he was now torn between trying to help his brother and trying not to offend the woman who owned his heart. "Let's not be judgmental when it comes to my brother, he already loses everything, I'm sure if he can regain his power back he won't feel so hopeless anymore...," he reasoned.

All the time they were talking she never took her eyes off from his face. "Adam please listen to me, your brother is different, no, we can't trust him! I don't want us to quarrel over this," she said adamantly, tears began to form in the corner of her eyes.

Adam relented. "Okay, I will no longer pursue it," he said because he was seeing that she was on the verge of crying.

Jessy smiled and planted a quick kiss on his lips. "Thank you for listening to me, Adam, it means a lot to me," she said.

Adam draped his arms on her shoulder drawing her stiff body to his, her body soften. "Let's just enjoy the beauty of the flowers," he said.

They retreated into a comfortable silence.

Each has different thoughts running on their heads.

Jessy raised her head, her eyes boring into his. "Just let me finish converting the 5k vampires into mortals and then we can leave this place and let's travel the world together, okay?" she gave him her sweetest smile.

"Okay Jess, your wish is my command," he said.

The couple continues to admire and enjoy the beautiful scenery around them.

Two hours later.

Adam bid goodbye to Jessy...he needs to return to his place to start honoring his modeling commitment for the entire week.

When Adam was already gone...

He failed to see the sadness gripping Jessy's countenance.
