13 Chapter 13: Cerulean Cave and the Challenge for the Badge

Good Morning! Is what I would say but right now me and my pokemon are busy kicking some asses here, I managed to catch all the pokemons I have not caught yet but when we were distracted we got surrounded by more pokemons and it appears a Steelix also behind them so I suppose he must be the cave lord is what they call it. But oh well he probably want to weaken us first before attacking... Got to act fast

Jay: "Levinia use thunder in the water but keep your power controlled to only knock some of them out. We will be using this as our training period"

It may sound cruel to shock the water pokemons but I intend to battle the ground and rock types first during the period their out cold. After receiving the ultimate thunder attack most of the water pokemons fainted while those who escaped kept distance looking at us cautiously.

Jay: 'Alright looks like I will be able to focus here but lets be sure' "Minette keep watch on the water pokemons and tap my shoulder if they intend to attack, Hestia use flamethrower but try to increase the intensity while condensing your flames! Cordelia use Muddy sport around us followed by a ice beam to freeze the water. Artemis use your swift! Levinia use Rock Smash!"

Yep the moves my pokemon recently learnt was Fire Blast for Hestia but everytime she use it, it simply came out as a flamethrower so using ground type pokemon that remains uneffected to normal flamethrowers is a good target for her which will also make her angry. Cordelia learnt ice beam however the beam only covers a thin layer and is not condensed enough so leaving her with the priority to look after our support, she most likely caught on that our safety rest on her shoulders. Artemis, well *sigh* for some reason her swift dissapears before it even hits the target so I intend to use the legendary 'peer pressure' indirectly knowing she don't want to let her sisters down for a good push. Well Levinia needs to learn to use the move she learnt to overcome her type weakness.

Jay: '*Dogeza* I know I'm wrong towards most females but I intend to use the golden rule amongst men to train these girls >Never Piss off a women, they can get real scary at timesnormal Time Skip 2 weeks

Well my pokemon's training came out perfectly, their levels finally matched at level 38 (I Blew 61200 points buying Rare candies to get them to lvl 37 together and Mew at 33 *Cries*) except for Mew at level 34 it seems she level is lower than my others but is still my strongest one.

Well my pokemons are stronger now but I intend to train them much harder after we finish our triple badge hunt, yep I intend to take on Cerulean, Saffron and Vermillion Gyms all in one shot before heading over to the Power Plant where the Parent Zapdos is. Although I received the egg I still want to battle it myself, guess I'm still a bit annoyed about the eggs so winning a battle against the three current ruler birds will at least make me feel I deserve it.

And here we are walking around Cerulean city looking for a Restaurant that provides pokemon food as well, although I know my food is special and on specific on nutrients for them. I hope to see if there is something else they like, other flavors. I intend to train my pokemons to become gourmets alongside me, I love making food but I love eating more! Nah Its a joke hehehe, but I do intend to see if they like any other flavors. Ah we found one!

a Beautiful lady stood there dressed in the standard maid outfit holding a menu in her hands looking at me approaching.

Waitress: "Good Day sir, are you alone and how many pokemons are you bringing along? Public or Private room?"

Jay: 'Whats this sem-machine gun talk' "Uhm... I want a private room and I have 7 Pokemons"

Waitress: '7? Isn't it suppose to be 6? well whatever, more customers more pay... I really want that handbag' "Please follow me sir, I will guide you to a room on the second floor"

The moment we step inside the restaurant I was greatly shocked, in the middle there is open plan kitchen surrounded by a moving wheels that transports the plates placed on travel in a circle like a train.

Jay: 'Sushi huh? Will try it someday'

I continue to observe more, there are several tables and chairs placed in a ordered fashion. The set up is like most expensive restaurant. As we walk upstairs I see the layout left me dumbfounded, its like a hotel hall with rooms left and right.

Waitress: "Its this room, would you like to order a drink?"

Jay: "Ah Can you give me a glass and 7 Bowls of Miltank Milk?"

She bows elegantly like a real maid before leaving us, I called out everyone to take their seats. The room was fitted with a large table in the centre surrounded by comfortable leather couches, it appears this restaurant truly give customer service based on value for our money.

We enjoyed our lunch together and I noticed they all love sweet flavoured food, I have nothing else to say I know the answer but some things are best left unsaid. The moment we finished the waitress appeared like a ghost with shining eyes that looks like a predator eyeing a nice piece of meat, she hands over the bill.

Jay: 'Those eyes are really scary'

I swiftly paid the bill and added a extra amount of tip, believe it or not but all the food we ate which was alot costed me 90k Pokedollars! Its blashemy, daylight robbery! *sigh* But the service is up to standard, food is delicious so no help in complaining so instead of staying there we left for pokemon center.

I got everyone checked up first before heading towards the gym, peak condition for battles is the best. I feel bad for Misty but I intend to give her a hard battle. Maybe with that will she take training much more serious for the future. I open the doors and walked into the gym.

Jay: "Yo! I'm here to challenge the Gym"

Misty: "Ah your okay!!"

She sure is fast alright, in a moment she is in front of me checking for any injuries.

Jay: "Well I did force them to run but when I heard you were closed for 2 weeks I trained in the Cerulean Cave for this battle"

Misty: "Eh!? Isn't there a strong Steelix and Nidoqueen there?"

Jay: "There WAS a steelix and Nidoqueen but I caught them hehe"

Misty: "Your truly a strong one huh? Well don't expect me to back down, I accept your challenge"

We walk further inside the gym until we reached an water arena with floating rocks.

Jay: "Interesting"

I took my place at the challenge platform while Misty took her place at the other side. a Trainer approach the middle and annouce

Referee: "Its a Gym battle between Challenger Jay Silver of Pallet Town and Gym Leader Misty, each trainer may use three pokemons each and only the challenger is allowed to switch. Battle Start!"
