1643 Bleeding Hear

Stormwind City was Lu Li's home ground. He didn't have to be scared, like he was in Undercity. He could strut into the Royal Library. The guards at the entrance even smiled and nodded at him in acknowledgment.

His reputation in Stormwind City was well regarded, and he was considered as a prestigious figure

The many First Clears that he had achieved led Lu Li to accumulate many titles. These types of titles were more respected by militant soldiers.

Moreover, he still had a military rank.

"Good day dear warriors. May I ask which people in our library have purple hair?"

Lu Li was about to go in until he reversed a few steps and asked the soldiers at the entrance.

"Commanding Officer, there are three people with purple hair. One of them is the Deputy Library Manager; he is a purple-haired mage. It might be more difficult if you're looking for him since he's gone to Dalaran. Of the remaining two, one is Mr. Dor, who is a repairing master. He spends most of his time in the underground experiment lab as a part of his responsibilities to repair books. Karyn is an employee of the library, and has served there for over a decade."

There were three people. He could eliminate the deputy library manager since he had gone to Dalaran.

Secondly, was Mr. Dor the repairing master. He sounded like a typical homebody so there was no way, since he barely ventured outside. The one with the highest possibility was Karyn.

"So where can this Karyn be found right now?" Lu Li asked.

"It's lunch break now so she should have gone to the bakery. It's her usual habit; she should be back in a bit," the guard answered.

Since this was the case, Lu Li might as well keep waiting here.

He didn't have anything else to do, so he just chatted with the guards. He wasn't expecting to gain any quests out of the conversation, but at least he could kill time.

Did the game designer even design a whole identity, background, family and marriage for such an insignificant guard? Then was a massive project in and of itself. This was something that Lu Li had never thought about before.

It felt as though it was a real world here.

While they were chatting, Karyn had already returned and the guard introduced her to him. "This is Commander Lu Li. He seems to be looking for you."

Karyn wasn't an important character, so as soon as she heard that Lu Li was some sort of Commander, she immediately grew nervous.

"How can I help you? I'm just a library employee, the most insignificant figure in Stormwind City."

"Have you picked up a book recently? The really tattered type?" Lu Li asked directly.

However, this superficial course brought her unnecessary trouble.

Lu Li brought his guild members here and ravaged her again.

The Firelord had immense power, but he didn't know Draconic. As such, once he found this remnant copy, he became enthusiastically determined to master the language. Unfortunately, this was only a remnant copy. Hence, the Blackrock Monsters received the quest of helping him find the other remnants.

If this time period's players and Blackrock Monsters could establish communication, then they could receive similar quests.

Unfortunately, before he could even learn a few lines of Draconic, the man who took his First Clear brought men with him and returned.

"Woah, I can't believe you actually found them all. If it were me, I would've given up by now," Narain said in disbelief.

"Everything is for Azeroth!" Lu Li was like a gentleman with a dignified outlook.

"I, Narain, am happy to offer you my services. I've got it all covered."

Even shameless little people could be touched.

"Then, I leave it in your capable hands," Lu Li replied.

This quest was competed over so many days to the point that Lu Li was annoyed with it.

"Okay, it's taken slightly longer than the anticipated time. Now let me see what this ledger says."

Narain finally learnt Draconic and began to read the ledger. After a while, he raised his head.

"So, the good news is that I am 99% sure that I can make you an Arcanite Buoy. Of course, there is bad news too. The bad news is that I'm going to need large amounts of Arcanite, Elementium Ore, and also some precious gems…"

Lu Li grabbed the list that Narain had written, and nearly fainted.

Before the quest began, he had already dealt with collecting materials, but to do it again?!

Plus, the things needed this time were way too valuable.

If it was anyone else, they probably would have stopped the quest here. After all, not everyone could easily provide a large pile of valuable materials. Just for completing one mission, Lu Li was already feeling his heart bleeding, despite having saved so much.
