13 A Granddaughter's Smile

"Abilities??" Ryūsei asked in confusion. "Abilities are generally based of upon Elemental Arts" He happily stated. "If you have the ability "Divine Protection" due to your Elementalist Art and let's say an Elementalist has a similar Elemental Art that means-" He added which made Ryūsei realize the issue they're in. "He/She might have "Divine Protection" as well." Ryūsei replied in shock.

"If we plan to stop them then for now we must join in the Grand Shōtotsu" He stated shocking Ryūsei. "Ryūshi..... You don't mean what I think you mean" Ryūsei asked in confusion. "Yup, A temporary Chīma between us two until this problem is dealt with." Ryūshi happily replied.

"I appreciate the thought Ryūshi...." Ryūsei happily replied. "But it would be unfair to everyone who participated." He added.

"Guess you're right Ryūsei" Ryūshi sighed and then decided to think of another plan. "Let's go to Plan B then" He happily stated as an idea goes through his mind.

"Plan B???" Ryūshi curiously asked. "I'd be in the spectators area standing by to see how it goes, If thing get out of hand I'll be stepping in." Ryūshi stated as they continue to walk around the Kingdom.

"Sounds like a good plan to me" Ryūshi happily replied. "You must be careful Ryūsei, We have no idea how strong they could be" Ryūshi warned. "Yeah, I will..." Ryūsei replied.

As Ryūsei and Ryūshi continue to walk around the Kingdom, After a while Ryūsei then looks at the badge he got from Nendo and decided to ask something to Ryūshi.

"Ryūshi can I ask you something??" Ryūsei asked. "Yeah sure ask away!!" Ryūshi happily replied.

"It's about this badge...." Ryūsei replied showing the badge he got from Nendo. "I don't believe it....." Ryūshi was then speechless. "It's the Storm Stone..." He added.

"Where did you get it???" Ryūshi asked. "I got it from a quest back then" Ryūsei replied. "This stone was the last jewel that Arashi left behind before he past away" Ryūshi stated. "The Storm Stone contains a fraction of his Elemental Art basically containing the power inside waiting for someone to harness and master the power." He added.

"Grandpa's Elemental Art is the Storm Dragon right???" Ryūsei asked. "Yes, Your Grandpa was a formidable foe to those who stand against him." He added before they heard someone behind them.

"Well well it's been a long time Ryūshi Ryūgū or should I say the Crowned Dragon Of Creation." The stranger behind them stated.

"What are you doing in this timeline Jikan Norenzoku, The Crowned Dragon Of Time." Ryūshi replied as Ryūsei was shocked.

"Why, Can't a guy visit a friend in a upcoming special occasion." Jikan replied. "You rarely visit, Or should I say, You rarely are in this timeline." Ryūshi stated.

"Hello, I'm Ryūsei Ryūgū-" Ryūsei happily greeted before being interrupted by Jikan. "You don't have to introduce yourself, I already met you in future timelines." Jikan stated showing a smile on his face.

"So what brings you to this timeline???" Ryūshi asked. "To watch the upcoming Grand Shōtotsu-" Jikan replied but Ryūshi then glares at him with a serious look.

"You're not fooling anyone Jikan, You only visit if there's trouble in the Space Timeline Continuum." Ryūshi stated.

"Nothing gets pass you, Ryūshi." Jikan sighed. "It's time to come clean, Come with me." Jikan stated.

Ryūsei and Ryūshi then followed Jikan and they headed off to the park where they visited Akashino's monument.

"What are we doing here???" Ryūshi asked. "There was just to much people in that area" Jikan replied.

"Anyway what's the real reason you're in this timeline??" Ryūshi asked. "A couple of weeks ago or should I say 47 years from now there was a certain Elementalist appeared running a rampage in the future." He replied.

"Is it Quintela??!!" Ryūshi asked. "No it wasn't Quintela, The Elementalist going on a rampage was corrupted, A puppet being manipulated and used" Jikan replied.

"So why did you went back to this timeline then???? To get reinforcements???" Ryūshi asked.

"Well reinforcements wasn't needed at first I could've easily handled the situation on my own" Jikan replied. "Unfortunately that bastard had a really annoying Elemental Art." He added.

"What's his Elemental Art???" Ryūshi asked. "In the future, It's known as "Imitate"." Jikan replied. "It's a special kind of Elemental Art that allows him to copy and use an Elemental Art that he just witnessed." Jikan added.

"Unfortunately, I found out about his Elemental Art the hard way...." Jikan then scratches his hand in annoyance. "Jikan your saying what I think your saying???" Ryūshi asked with a little worried tone in his voice.

"He imitated my Elemental Art and kinda.... travelled back in time into this timeline" Jikan replied. Ryūshi sighed "So that explains why I suddenly sense a tremendous amount of energy a few days ago." Ryūshi stated.

"Speaking of which" Ryūshi then looks at Jikan. "The tremendous amount of energy I sense a few days ago was yours and the "Corrupted Elementalist". Ryūshi then looks at Ryūsei.

"Who's the Elementalist that has a similar Elemental Art to Ryūsei" Ryūshi asked. "The person who came here to help" Jikan replied. "You can come out now!!!" Jikan yelled and suddenly a person came out from behind Akashino's monument.

The person was wearing a black robe and as the person slowly approaches them, The person the removes the hood of the robe revealing a girl with dark blue hair and scarlet eyes.

"Are you sure we can trust them??" The girl asked. "Of course, This person right here is Ryūshi Ryūgū" He pointed at Ryūshi. "The Crowned Dragon Of Creation" He added.

"Hello there, I hope I can be a good help to the problem you are dealing with." Ryūshi stated. "I appreciate it Ryūshi" The girl bowed her head. "I'm sorry for having you involved in the scenario we're in" She apologised.

A few Elementalist then started to visit the park and it turns out it was Kasai, Sora, Yuki, Shizen, Shadow and Kayosha.

They were dismissed early from classed and they all decided to walk walked together at the park.

"Too bad Ryūsei couldn't come with us." Yuki sighed in sadness. "Yeah, such a bummer." Kasai replied as he looks around.

"Who would've thought that he friend's with Ryūshi-" Kayosha stated before she was interrupted.

Something caught Kasai's eye "Wait is that.... Ryūsei!!!" Kasai yelled pointing his finger to Ryūsei making the others look as well.

"Yup, It's Ryūsei alright." Shadow replied. "Who're those two with him besides Ryūshi" Shizen asked.

"I don't know, But I wanna find out." Kasai replied as he slowly heads off to approach Ryūsei causing the others no choice but to follow him as well.

"Are you sure we can trust them??" The girl asked. "Of course, This person right here is Ryūshi Ryūgū" He pointed at Ryūshi. "The Crowned Dragon Of Creation" He added.

"Hello there, I hope I can be a good help to the problem you are dealing with." Ryūshi stated. "I appreciate it Ryūshi" The girl bowed her head. "I'm sorry for having you involved in the scenario we're in" She apologised.

"The boy with the white hair is Ryūsei Ryūgū." Jikan then introduces the girl to Ryūsei causing the girl to be speechless. "It's nice to meet you-" Ryūsei happily introduced himself before he was interrupted as suddenly the girl hugged Ryūsei as tears pour down her eyes as she cries.

"I've been wanting to meet you for so long....." The girl happily said as she cries. "I... ugh....ugh....wh... what's going on-" Ryūsei muttered as he was so confused on what's going on.

"What do we have here?, Care to explain Ryūsei" Kasai teased as he suddenly jumps out from behind Ryūsei.

Ryūsei then turns his head around seeing Sora, Yuki, Shizen, Shadow and Kayosha behind him.

The girl then breaks the hug and she then looks at Jikan and Jikan then makes a gesture giving her the green light.

"Well since we can't hide my presence in this world anymore, I guess it'll be alright to let you all know." The girl stated causing everyone to listen to look at her.

"I know this hard to believe but my name is Catherine Ryūgū, I am the future granddaughter of Ryūsei Ryūgū." The girl stated shocking everyone.

"G-G-G-Granddaughter!!!!" Everyone around them yelled. Ryūshi then slowly approaches Jikan. "Well this one's a shocker" Ryūshi teased. "Seems like you already knew from the very beginning" Jikan replied. "Well I just thought of them being related with there Elemental Art somewhat similar but I didn't expect this" Ryūshi replied.

"I can't tell you anymore details about what happens in the future... As it would ruin the whole Space Time Continuum-" Catherine stated before being interrupted by Yuki.

"Still, my grandniece is so cute" Yuki happily said as she pinches Catherine's cheek so hard.

"Yuki can you at least let her finish talking before doing something like that, Besides you're hurting her" Shadow stated and Yuki then let's go of Catherine's cheek.

"I'm sorry for her actions, She's just a little to girly with cute things" Shizen apologise on behalf of Yuki. "You may continue talking" He added.

"With Jikan's help, We travelled back in time to this to stop my friend from destroying the Elemental World." Catherine said but with a more sad tone in her voice.

"A friend??? A friend who's going to destroy the Elemental World??? I don't see the friend part there." Kasai sarcastically teased.

"He isn't like that....." Catherine defended her friend. "He was just corrupted..... because of me...." Catherine then began to cry and the others began looking at Kasai.

Ryūsei then approaches Catherine and comforts her. "Hey, It's alright, It's not your fault things are like this. Don't blame yourself for what's happened." Ryūsei comforted her.

"It's just that... it's my fault he got corrupted.....We've been friends for so long....." Catherine begans to tear up.

"I never noticed his feelings for me..... And.... the day he confessed..... I wasn't ready.... I wasn't ready ..... I didn't know..... I didn't know the problems he had and I just added another burden... Now he got corrupted because of me...." She then wipes a few of her tears.

"Men.... The future is really messed up...." Kasai stated and Yuki then hugs Catherine.

"It's okay.... We're here for you Catherine, We'll figure something out." Yuki comforted her causing Catherine to smile a little. "Yeah, We'll save this friend of yours from this corruption thing." Shizen replied.

"I forgot to ask though.... Catherine, what's your Elemental Art???" Shadow asked but Catherine hesitated to reply.

"Shadow, we mustn't ask questions that might ruin the future." Yuki scolded and all of them laughed a little.

"Catherine, I promise to you we will rescue your friend from the state he is in." Ryūsei happily said causing Catherine to cheer up. "Thanks, Grandpa." She happily replied.

"It does feel weird!!!" Ryūsei laughed. "You being called Grandpa??" Kayosha teased. "Yeah." Ryūsei replied.

Catherine then started to frown a little. "What's the matter Catherine???" Ryūsei concernly asked. "It's just that... In the future... I never met you in person or even bonded with you once...." She stated shocking everyone. "You weren't around in my childhood....." She added causing everyone to yell and scold Ryūsei.

"So where am I in the future???" Ryūsei asked. "You and grandma are no longer in the Elemental World. Father only told me stories about you and grandma and the adventures you guys have been" She then begins to tear up "And seeing you in person.... even if it's you from the past.... really makes me happy." She happily said as she shows a warm smile on her face.
