12 Preparation For The Grand Shōtotsu

"Yeah, You have your girlfriend all worried about your health and here you are just fighting till the pain kicks in." Shadow happily teases the two.

"Girlfriend.... I...ugh..... I...." Sora then blushes as red as a tomato all embarrassed.

"She's not my girlfriend" Kasai defended himself.

"Yet, right babe??" Kasai teased as he then begins to flirt with Sora.

"I have no idea what you're talking about....." Sora embarrassedly looks away from Kasai with her face all red as a tomato.

"Well since the spar is over and that match hyped me up" Yuki stated it out breaking the silence while stretching her legs.

"Shadow, Sweetie let's have a little spar shall we???" She suggested.

"We shall not!!!" Shadow immedietly replied backing away from Yuki.

"Why is there a problem Sweetie??" Yuki asked but she was a little bit pissed and ice then began to appear below Yuki's feet.

"Don't give me that look" Shadow glared at Yuki.

"We have to go to school remember." Shadow replied.

"Why are we returning to school??" Ryūsei curiously asked as he interrupted the two of them.

"Oh yeah, You weren't here when they announced it." Kasai happily said as he slowly approaches Ryūsei.

"Announced what??" Ryūsei quickly asked.

"They're going to explain some of the rules for the Grand Shōtotsu-" Kayosha replied but unfortunately Ryūsei immediately ran outside before Kayosha could even finish talking.

"Classic Ryūsei, He never changes" Shizen happily laughs and the rest of them followed after Ryūsei.

They went immediately went outside the palace and headed of to Aluxany Highschool.

In a distance not so far away from them, Above the roof of a house there were two people who're covered by a brown and black robe.

"Is that him???" The black robed person asked as they look at Ryūsei from a certain distance. "Yes that's him Ryūsei Ryūgū, The 4th Grand Elementalist." The brown robed person replied. "Looks like he's here as well" The brown robed person pointed out. "Who???" The black robed person asked. "The Crowned Dragon of Creation" The brown robed person replied.

~~~~~ At Aluxany Highschool ~~~~~

The bell then rings and Professor Hex then enters the room and class was about to begin.

"Good Morning Maggots" He greeted and he then looks at Ryūsei. "I see our little brave maggot finally decided to enter class." He stated out with a smirk on his face.

"Hi Prof. Hex...." Ryūsei embarrassedly replied as the whole classroom looks at him.

Professor Hex then starts the lecture for todays class which was all about enchantment and after a while of teaching the class was dismissed for today's lesson but he had an announcement to make before the physical exercise could start.

"As you can see next week will be the day the Grand Shōtotsu event will start." He announced. "All Chīma's over the Elemental World shall compete against one another in this Grand Event." He then grabs a map of the Elemental World from under his desk and post it on the blackboard.

"The Kingdom of Ryūgū, The Northern Palace, The Eastern Empire, Southern Santuary and the Western Temple." He slowly pointed the locations of the 5 Kingdoms.

"Talk about a lot of contestants" Kayosha mumbled in shock. "The more I can beat up." Kasai loudly stated out causing Sora to happily laugh at him.

"Since when did you start actually listening to history class." Sora happily teased. "Starting now babe!!!" Kasai happily teased back causing Sora to look away from embarrassment.

The Kingdom of Ryūgū, Also known as the "Land Of Dragons". The Kingdom is greatly known for our Dragon Sages throughout the Elemental World as most of the Elementalist who wields the power to cast Dragon Art originated from our Kingdom.

The Northern Palace, Also known as the "Land Of Water", The Northern Palace is located North from the Kingdom of Ryūgū. The Northern Palace is known for there skillful water-based Elementalist and is also the place where water-based Elementalist go to train.

The Southern Santuary, Also known as the "Land Of Fire", The Southern Santuary is located south from the Kingdom of Ryūgū. The Southern Santuary also developed skillful Fire-based Elementalist throughout the years and is also the place where fire-based Elementalist go to train.

Next up is the Eastern Empire, Also known as "The Land Of Earth", The Eastern Empire is located east from the Kingdom of Ryūgū. The Eastern Empire also developed skillful Earth-based Elementalist throughout the years.

And finally, The Western Temple also known for "The Land of Air", The Western Temple is located west from the Kingdom of Ryūgū. The Western Temple are known for developing unrivaled Air-based Elementalist.

"It's best that you'd do your best at the Grand Shōtotsu, Show everyone that you'd have what it takes to make an impact at the Elemental World. Show them what you're capable of" Prof. Hex happily stated as he dismissed his students from them to take their lunch.

As the students celebrate that it's lunch time. The gang gathers near the door of the classroom. Kasia then slowly approaches Ryūsei. "Is something wrong Ryūsei??" He slowly asked.

"Why aren't you going to the Southern Santuary???..... " Ryūsei quickly replied. "I mean you'll get even more stronger by just going there....." He added.

"That maybe true....but how could I see my best friend everyday if just go to the Southern Santuary." Kasai happily replied showing a big smile on his face. "Besides I also have a reason in why I wanted to stay" Kasai happily said as he looks at Sora but Ryūsei was confused on what the heck he was saying.

~~~~~ At the Cafeteria ~~~~~

Ryūsei and the gang mmet up at there usual lunch table to eat. They all sat down and began to eat. After a while of eating "Have you guys heard, There's going to be a powerful Elementalist in the tournament." Shadow said as he continues to eat.

"Really?? A boy or a girl???" Kasai curiously asked while continuing ot eat. "Is the gender really important???" Kayosha asked as she glares at Kasai. "A boy" Shizen quickly replied because he knew what'll happen next. "It's said he just started taking in quest but completed only A to S-Rank quest." He added shocking everyone except for Yuki who wasn't worried at all.

After eating there lunch Ryūsei then headed outside to get fresh air and starts to walk across the Kingdom.

"I wish you are here..." Ryūsei quietly muttered. "I need to find you..... my Chīma..." He added before he heard a familiar voice.

"Is something bothering you???" Kayosha asked holding two cans of soda in her hands. "Oh... hey... Kayosha....." Ryūsei replied. Kayosha then gives one of the sodas to Ryūsei which he humbly accepted.

"Hey Ryūsei, Are you okay???" Kayosha asked while talking a sip of the soda. "You are not acting like your usual self ever since you've returned" She added while looking at him with a concerned look.

"I'm fine you don't have to worry Kayosha" Ryūsei happily said giving a warm smile on his face. "It's just that... Sometimes I wonder the day I would meet my Chīma" He added but with a depressed tone.

"You don't have to be sad about it Ryūsei, After all like mom always say "Everything happens for a reason it's up to us on how were gonna face the scenario up ahead" She happily said. "So don't show me that sad and uncool version of you" She pouted. "Thanks Kayosha, I really need that" Ryūsei happily replied.

After a while of walking around, Ryūsei and Kayosha returned back to the school and P.E was about to start.

As the whole class lined up in the training area, Professor Hex was in front of us, He yelled grabbing all of our attention. "Today, You'll have a Shōtotsu in order to prepare you for the upcoming Grand Shōtotsu-" He was cut off when a familiar voice but his name didn't occur to me until I turned around.

"Hello again Ryūsei" Ryūshi happily greeted. "Ryūshi!!!! What are you doing here????" Ryūsei asked in shocked as he couldn't believe who was standing in front of him in person.

"I came to watch the upcoming Grand Shōtotsu, And I'm thinking of participating in the Grand Shōtotsu as well" Ryūshi happily replied shocking everyone in class.

"T...T...Thee Ryūshi Ryūgū..... One Of The Crowned Dragons is joining the Grand Shōtotsu....." Kasai stated but the tone of his voice shows a bit of fear and worry. "This Grand Shōtotsu...just took a whole new level....." Sora muttered.

"So that means.... I might have to fight... Ryūshi-" Ryūsei deeply thought but he was then shocked again after hearing something.

"Just kidding, We Crowned Dragons aren't allowed to join any Shōtotsu." Ryūshi happily teased making the whole class sigh in relief.

"It's really good to see you again" Ryūsei happily greeted once again. "Ryūsei do you two know each other???" Kayosha asked. "He's a friend of mine." Ryūsei replied and Ryūshi slowly approaches Prof. Hex.

"I sincerely apologise for disturbing your class Prof. Hex. But if it's okay with you that if you excuse Ryūsei from your class today, I'd like him to be my tour guide around the Kingdom." Ryūshi happily requested. "I'll allow it, Because it's you we're talking about." Without any hesitation Prof. Hex quickly replied.

"Ryūsei, Let's go then I'd like the tour now to begin." Ryūshi happily requested and both of them left the building.

"So um... Ryūshi where would you like to start???" Ryūsei asked while they continue to walk around the town.

"It's okay Ryūsei, You don't need to tour me, It was actually a bluff to get you out of your class." Ryūshi replied. "I actually came here to warn you of the upcoming danger about to take place in the upcoming Grand Shōtotsu." He added.

"What do you mean Ryūshi????" Ryūsei asked. "A few days ago, A strange disturbance occured in the universe. I was traveling to a nearby planet in the cosmos suddenly I felt a tremendous amount of magic appeared out of nowhere in Planet Ryūgū." Ryūshi replied but this time with a more serious look.

"Is it Quintela??? If she is we must stop her-" Ryūsei worriedly asked but was soon cut off by Ryūshi. "No.... because one of those tremendous amount of energy I sensed...." He then looks at Ryūsei. "It was similar to yours Ryūsei.." He added.

"What do you mean???" Ryūsei confusedly asked. "The tremendous energy I sense was similar to your Elemental Art but somehow it's a little bit different." Ryūshi replied.

"Could it be my Chīma???" Ryūsei asked. "I don't think so Ryūsei, Because if it was your Chīma then why did I sense two more energies" Ryūshi replied.

"One of them has tremendous amount of energy but unfortunately there were a lot of negative energy dwelling inside him/her." He added.

"The second one is the Elementalist I was talking about, He/She has similar energy to you and a tremendous amount of energy in fact. Luckily I don't sense any negative energy inside him/her for now but we can't tell if they're friend or foe." He added.

"But I don't sense anything???" Ryūsei confusedly asked "Your sensing ability is too weak Ryūsei" Ryūshi replied. "Besides you can't anymore sense them, they lowered there energy so that they would fit in with the Elemental World." He added.

"What's the plan Ryūshi???" Ryūsei asked. "There's an upcoming Grand Shōtotsu about to take place in a matter of days, Our plan is to lure them in uisng the Grand Shōtotsu as bait" Ryūshi replied.

"Ryūsei, Unfortunately no matter how strong you are right now you're unfortunately to weak to face them especially with there abilities" Ryūshi stated.

"Abilities??" Ryūsei asked in confusion. "Abilities are generally based of upon Elemental Arts" He happily stated. "If you have the ability "Divine Protection" due to your Elementalist Art and let's say an Elementalist has a similar Elemental Art that means-" He added which made Ryūsei realize the issue they're in. "He/She might have "Divine Protection" as well." Ryūsei replied in shock.

"If we plan to stop them then for now we must join in the Grand Shōtotsu" He stated shocking Ryūsei. "Ryūshi..... You don't mean what I think you mean" Ryūsei asked in confusion. "Yup, A temporary Chīma between us two until this problem is dealt with." Ryūshi happily replied.
