"This old man is your disciple, Master?" Yi Lan drawled out.

Chun Jie nodded her head. "I was taking you to visit him, but then my clothes got dirty. When I got back, you weren't there and I was unfamiliar with the area. I wanted to ask him to find you. But you little brat, were already here. You even got into trouble."

Yi Lan stayed silent, showing her agreement.

Chun Jie smiled and patted her head. "Good work in beating him up. "

Lan's eyes widen in surprise and a small smile spread across her face. It was necessary to say that Lan hadn't smiled much ever since she was reincarnated to this world.

The smile faded off Chun Jie's face and she said "But, there's still an important matter I have to discuss with you. Come with me afterwards."

"Okay." She replied.

Li Wei gulped. He hadn't known that the boy in front of him was his master's disciple. As a senior brother, he was a failure.

"Master! I'm guilty of being unfair to my junior brother. Please punish me!" He exclaimed kow-towing.

"Certainly. You were wrong." Chun Jie narrowed her eyes.

Li Wei's body trembled.

Li Wei slowly raised his head and said "Junior brother, punish me as you like."

Li Luo shook in fear and immediately fell to her knees. "Brother! I apologise for being rude to you earlier! This is all my fault, so punish me, not my grandfather."

"Luo'er!" Li Wei cried out.

"No grandfather! I have already decided." She muttered, tears flowing down her face. With a determined look, she said to Yi Lan, "Punish me as you like Brother."

Yi Lan was quiet for a moment before she replied, "I don't want to."

"Eh? Really? Thank you Brother!" Li Luo gasped and hugged her grandfather, who hugged back.

"Thank you junior brother."

"What junior brother? I'm your junior sister!" She grunted.

Li Luo and Li Wei froze. The shocked Shen Yun, had now turned to stone. 'A girl? His Sheng'er had been defeated by a girl?'

"Wha-? But...you.. . Clothes.." Li Luo babbled on.

"That was kind of you Yi Lan." Chun Jie said, patting her shoulder.

"...." Yi Lan couldn't say that she had forgiven them because she liked how the buns had tasted.

She simply pursed her lips.

At that moment, Li Luo's eyes glowed. In them were a spark of admiration and hope. Little did Yi Lan know, that this actions of hers, would change Li Luo's life completely. Her name would be known all over the continents.

Chun Jie then reprimanded Li Wei saying, "Li Wei, I'm very disappointed with you. Marrying off your only granddaughter? You have brought shame to your Master."

Li Wei looked down ashamed. "I understand Master. I'll go and pay for my sins in the Black Lands."

"Good. Remember, what I do is for your own good." She nodded. "Yi Lan, follow me, we have something to discuss."

"Wait!" Li Luo exclaimed. She rushed towards Yi Lan and bowed down. "Big sister, I'm sorry for troubling you. Please forgive me. I'm ready to go to the Black Lands with my Grandfather."

Yi Lan sighed inwardly and scratched her hair. "A brat like you should go and play. You'll just drag down your grandfather."

Her words were harsh, but her intentions were good. Truthfully, Yi Lan only wanted each child to have a normal childhood. She didn't want anyone to mature early, like she had been forced to do.

"Let's go Master." She said, turning back.

Li Luo stared at her back with mixed feelings, her beautiful eyes still swollen.

Chun Jie grasped her hand and with a 'whoosh',they flew upwards. Yi Lan felt slightly dizzy at first because of the sudden take-off, but after shaking her head,the dizziness went away.

Within a few minutes, they reached Chun Jie's house. Chun Jie quickly dragged Yi Lan to a seat and faced her with a serious face.

"Yi Lan, do you feel different than yesterday?" She asked.

Puzzled, Yi Lan replied "If you're talking about Qi, then yes there-"

"No, no, no." Chun Jie cut her off. "I meant in terms of physical strength."

Yi Lan glanced at her hands and casually said "Yeah, I did notice I grew more stronger somehow. This is all because of Master's enhancing seals on my hands." She nodded her head gratefully.

Chun Jie breathed out and shook her head. "I'm afraid that's not the case, little brat. Enhancing seals aren't supposed to increase physical strength to this extent. Tell me, did you eat something spiritual yesterday?"

"Spiritual...? Yeah, I did eat a fruit Yoru gave me." Yi Lan replied.

".. I knew it. This is bloodline awakening. Listen up Yi Lan, I and Teacher were wrong. We have no idea if each generation of cursed seal body shares the same ability. A tug on her long silver hair, made her stumble and almost fall. "What?" Yi Lan growled. "Don't you have anything better to do? Maybe clean up those hideous pores of yours. Looking at you makes me sick."

The person, Yi Ruo gasped in shock. Her face grew bright red in anger and she tugged hard at Yi Lan's hair. A few clumps of hair ripped off from Yi Lan's scalp, making blood flow down her face.

Yet, her face remained impassive.

"You b*tch! What right does scum like you have to insult me?! You think you're so pretty!? Then today if I don't shave all your hair off, my name isn't Yi Ruo." She screamed and her hand ventured closer to Yi Lan's face.

A cold voice made her freeze in her tracks. "May I know what you are doing to Yi Lan, Yi Ruo?"

Yi Ruo's hands trembled and she immediately fell to her knees. "Forgive me Your Highness! My little sister was being impudent, so I was just teaching her a lesson."

"By making her bleed?" Che Ling's eyes fixed themselves on Yi Lan's bleeding scalp. They soon drifted to her face, expecting to see atleast a shaken expression, only to be disappointed.

Yi Lan's face remained neutral, with a slightly bored look on it.

Beside Che Ling, was none other than Huang Anjing, the prime minister's daughter. Her fists were clenched and a silent fury burned in her eyes. She glared at Yi Ruo. Somehow, she felt protective of Yi Lan.

"What kind of manners did the Yi Clan teach you? Is this any way to behave?!" Anjing gritted out, her face becoming red with anger.

'Who the hell does she think she is? B*tch! Daddy's little girl.' Yi Ruo bit her lip.

"I'm sorry, it was a mistake." She said softly.

"Apologise to her formally!" Anjing looked at Yi Ruo with disdain.

Grinding her teeth, Yi Ruo turned to Yi Lan and said "Please forgive me my litter sister. I was just jealous of your hair."

Yi Lan simply ignored her and examined her dirt filled nails, as if it were the most interesting things ever.

Having no choice, Yi Ruo cursed Yi Lan in her mind and left.

"Are you alright?" Anjing immediately rushed toward Yi Lan in concern.

Che Ling also followed her.

"I'm fine." Yi Lan said waving her hand.

"Che Ling, you have a sword?' She asked suddenly.

Both of them looked at Yi Lan in confusion.

"I do have one." He replied.

"Give. I won't hurt you."

Puzzled he handed it over to her. Anjing stayed quiet too.

To their shock, with a slash, Yi Lan chopped off most of her beautiful, long silver hair. Her hair now hardly reached her shoulders. In pants and a shirt, she looked like a handsome youth.

"She liked my hair didn't she? I don't want anything she likes." Yi Lan mumbled and thrust the sword back in Che Ling's hands.

Without waiting anymore, she set off,leaving Anjing and Che Ling with their mouth agape.
