18 Sheara the Centaurion

Currently in the area know as Demon Ridge.

The team of 6 was traveling at top speed. Traversing the mountainous region was simple. Something a trivial as the terrain wouldn't be able to slow them down. They maintained the same formation as before. Everyone keeping their senses on high alert. Ready to attack or flee at a moments notice.

The situation was slightly different in this area, although the beasts didn't attack just like in the Dark Forest. The beasts of this seemed to be following them! They were keeping out of eyesight but with the teams strength they were easily sensed out.

{Humans and Beast alike have the ability to sense the magic in other beings. Which is called a Magical Sense better known as the 7th sense. Most beings naturally have this 7th sense. Since they are born with what you call a 6th sense, known as the Magic Aura which also determines the elemental essence you possess. Now comparatively beasts have better senses all around because of their superior original 5 senses. Sight, smell etc. So for example a dog beast will not only have a Magical Sense but its natural sense of smell would be stronger than a humans.

However beasts have natural magic abilities and techniques. Whereas humans use spells and conjuring. For instance when Emera does her Venom Dragon Blast it comes from a magic organ inside of her body, but if Oren was to use his Holy Fire Meteor he would have to conjure the essence of fire out the atmosphere.

Now although the team realized they were being followed they kept moving. As long as they weren't provoked they wouldn't attack. They didn't want to attract any attention from the so called warbeast that ruled over this area.

The group pushed forward steadily noticing the beasts of the area not just following anymore, they were surrounding them! No one said a word they all knew something was about to happen they tightened there formation. In full Synchronization the team came together. Oren and Esholyn swiftly mounted Emera. As Merc Jumped into the air transforming into a giant metal bird then Johnny and Harvey mounted Merc. As soon as this was completed the two beasts' speed exploded. They were now trying to put some distance between them and the small army of beast that was trying to encircle them.

Then like they were on command the beasts all at once gave chase.

It was a stampede! Every creature within dozens of miles suddenly started to converge on them. They were in trouble!

Regardless they still kept moving, they were not trying to face this horde head on. This was over 1000 beasts coming for them at this very moment.

They had one option escape.....and even that seemed impossible!

Suddenly the sky darkened As the clouds started to crackle with blue energy. All the while the Beasts were getting closer and closer. "Everyone get ready," Harvey yelled as He was The first to sense this energy. Everyone automatically felt it a second later. Suddenly "Attack!!!" Harvey screamed. He didn't even think, it was instinct. He launched off of Mercs back. Straight into the Sky.....

Then....ZZZZZZznnt..... Before anyone of them could take a breathe a massive barrage of lightning bolts plummeted from the sky..... ZZZZZnnnt Zzzntnt zznznt znznzzZZZZnt. There were hundreds of them...

The beasts had the numbers but this team was not WEAK...

Harveys ability went on full display. The moment He jumped into the air he pulled both of His lightning swords, immediately tossing one into the ground while sticking the other into the air.... ZZZZZZZZZZZNNNNNNNNTTTTTTTT... Harveys Sword was like a magnet pulling every one of them bolts of electricity into its blade. Harvey looked like giant lightning rod gathering all of the enemies lightning into the sword he had pointed into the sky... Still this team was no longer the same group amateurs. Their training together made them synchronize perfectly.... It was Esholyns' turn, It was as if She and Harvey planned this from the very start.

Harvey had thrown his other blade right in front of their formation... At the exact moment it hit the ground Esholyn conjured a typhoon. The enemies that where the closest were already rushing in as the team was charging out. .....Whhooooosh.... The beasts were like sand in the wind as that massive whirlpool swept over them. Crushing the weaker ones while drowning the others. However the survivors wouldn't be so lucky... At the second that mountain of water smashed into that wall of enemies....

Harvey released the lightning he had collected. ZZZZnnZZZZzntttnzzzzzZZZZZZZZ...Booom.....ZZZZZZZZZztttttt.....Boooom.... The casualties were enormous....! The lightning from that attack came from hundreds of beasts at once! The power was already tremendous! Magnified by the ocean of water Esholyn flooded the enemies with, while simultaneously using that water storm to conduct and amplify the enemies own electric energy. Then using it against them utterly annihilating hundreds of them in this single blast.

After this scene every single one of those beast stopped dead in their tracks. What just happened!? They couldn't believe it! Did those TWO humans just destroy 200 of their 1000 man beast army in 3 moves!

How could they know Orens' team was a hydra! There was no weak link! Harvey, Oren and Emera coordinated this attack together. Harvey first let Oren know a very special detail... Everyone of these beasts were of the lightning element!! Second Emera was on alert, She knew how beasts worked. She let Oren know there was no way all these beasts would attack together. There must be a leader, more importantly that leader wasn't present. Then Oren set the next step, the only way to get this many beasts to fall in line was under the threat of death. So without the leader present the threat of death wasn't relevant if they were being sent to die!

Who would decide to commit suicide, under the threat of death?

It worked perfectly with so many of them destroyed at once they just stared.....

The leader wasn't present here so he couldn't kill them right now. However if they heeded his orders and attacked, they probably would overpower these humans but at what cost! The deaths of whichever of them attacked first was guaranteed! Who was willing to throw there lives away on a whim....

Seeing the reaction from the beasts...

Emera voiced "Oren lets move."

Emera suddenly lifted her massive 25ft long body, as Oren hopped onto her head. This was a sign of dominance among beasts. The strongest one stood while the weakest one bowed. Immediately the enemy beasts started to lower there heads clearly conceding.

After a few moments every beast except 3 had bowed before Emera. Noticing this Oren applied more pressure. Fwoooosh.... Above him a magnificent golden sun appeared. The power was unbearable! Oren kept the heat from spilling forth however. He wasn't trying to roast these enemies. He only meant to intimidate, and the immense power of the Holy Meteor did exactly that! One of the three beast also bowed out. Yet surprisingly the other two stood firm.

Oren took notice of these two, compared to the others fighting them would probably be an issue. One of them was a large feline type beast, its' entire body was giving off powerful electricity. It also had a large set of wings. Oren knew from his studies that this was a Thunder Sky Wind Tiger. They were very, very rare and they were known to be cunning and extremely powerful. Oren had special plans for this beast. It possessed the ability of flight, wind manipulation, plus, lightning abilities. It was even still in its infantile stage, allowing Emera to become aware of a few things. Which of course She shared with Oren....

Oren Then looked at the beast standing next to the Thunder Wind Tiger. What He saw made his eyes widen! "You can"t be serious," He yelled aloud as he jumped off of Emera, clearly overly excited.

He didn't say a word. As he ran Over to the the place where the two beast who refused to bow to Emera were standing. Whether it was the beast and the humans alike they were all frozen in stupor, they had no idea what was going on. Oren approached running like a joyous child. Did he know them?

Suddenly one of the beast decided to make a move on him. Oren didn't even turn in that lowly beasts' direction. As soon as that beast even moved, a pillar of fire burst forth from the holy sun that was suspended in the air, roasting that pathetic creature into nothing but ashes.

Oren drew closer to those two lead beasts. When he got in range the Thunder Wind Tiger attacked.... ZZZznnnnnzttttt...The Holy Meteor didn't react this time.... Just Oren... The Tiger went to swipe Oren with its electrified claws... Oren planned for this knowing full well that the tiger would rather rely on its physical body then its' elemental attacks...Whack.... Oren, of course easily dodged the attack, pushing that massive paw to the side. While at the same time condensing earth essence on his foot to deliver a powerful stone kick to the tigers lower jaw.....Bang.... The impact knocked the thunder wing tiger completely unconscious while the force sent it flying....

Then like nothing happened Oren simply moved fowards standing right in front the other beast. This beast was a centaur type of beast known as a Centaurion. It had the body of a horse but the upper half of a human girl. If you went from a humans standpoint the girl looked to be no more than 13 or 14 but being a beast she had to be much older than that. Standing, she was no more than six feet tall which was very small for a centaur beast. So she was most likely still young. Her human half was wrapped in a tight purple clothe covering her chest and left arm. She was actually very pretty even comparable to Esholyn, accept her long black hair was twice as long as Esholyns.

"What are you doing here." Oren asked the centaurion girl. She didn't say a word she just stared at him blankly. She was clearly in a state of disbelief perhaps even bewildered.

After a moment of silence She stuttered, "Oren is.. Oren is that really you."

Oren simply responded, "Yes Sheara its' me."

Sniff... Sniff... Sniff.... The Centaurion girl actually actually started sobbing!.....

After a few seconds she wiped her tears.

She then looked at Oren seriously.

"You shouldn't have come here Oren. I have orders to kill you." She stared very seriously at Oren.

"Orders to kill me. You do remember what you used to call me right?" Oren said talking cheerfully to the girl as if she didn't just threaten his life.

"Oren the unkillable." He boasted answering his own Question.

The girl repsonded, "Oren Im serious." As she materialized a silver sword the pressure it gave off was terrifying.

Oren was slightly stunned. Is that a Draconite sword!

The Girl noticed Orens slightly started look and pointed the blade at him. "Oren leave here now." She yelled. At the same time she pointed the blade, Orens' team started moving forward. Oren immediately He signaled them to wait.

"Sheara point your sword down or I will attack you I only want to talk."

Oren said very seriously.

"What do you mean talk, Oren kill Her," Johnny yelled from behind him.

Noticing Johnny this the beast Sheara stared for a second sensing him out.

Oren she said pointing her sword down. Then pointing at johnny with her with her free hand she continued. "Give me him and you can leave alive. I have orders to kill you both and capture the girl, but, if you'd just hand Him over i'm sure I sure I can convince them you got away."

Oren was taken aback for a second, He knew he and Esholyn were prime target but Johnny! Why Johnny

Oren replied. "Sheara I will give you nothing, but you will give me answers. First who are you work for. Second how come you have that sword, and third, why are you after Johnny." His voice was no longer happy it had grown cold and remorseless.

Sheara looked at Oren, once again sobbing. The sword in her hand trembling.....

"Oren they have my mother..." She started balling as she dropped the sword to the ground putting her palms to her eyes she cried. "Oren they took my mom."

Oren swiftly moved forward and kicked the draconite sword sending it flying to Harvey. He then reached over and and grabbed the beast girls wrists. Pulling her arms down he said. "Who has our mot...." Humpppff Oren suddenly shoved her sending her flying backwards at least 30ft.....ZZZZZZZZZNNNNNTTTTTZZZZZZZZZ A massive bolt of Electricity rained down out of nowhere directly on Orens position....Swoooooosh. The Holy Sun Meteor rushed to Intercepted it.... The instant those two massive energies collided. ...BOOOOOOOOOOM... The shock wave was unimaginably devastating. Everything within miles was reduced to nothing...

When the debris settled. Oren appeared standing nearest to the blast zone. With a wall of golden flames in front of him while, behind him was Sheara the Centaurion and The Thunder Wind Tiger. He had saved them. A little further down was a massive white energy shell, appearing only slightly cracked. Inside Orens 5 teamates were all perfectly safe thanks to Esholyn and Johnnys combined light shield.

....Ha so you are capable.... A familiar voice rang aloud.

Oren looked up to see a mans figure falling down from the sky.....

Oren just looked at him after dropping the wall of fire. Then with no trace of surprise he said.. "So you've finally shown yourself... Traitor."
