4 Don't worry
Somewhere in the Dark Forest.
A heavy battle was being fought.
A Bandit named Benny, was facing off against a woman wielding a strange light sword. Behind Her, a young girl was aiming a bow, She had an arrow nocked, just waiting for an opportunity to fire. Benny was badly losing! From the sight of it, the Woman already easily knocked his sword away. He was being horribly slashed now, relying only on his arms to block. Although, somewhat dodging to protect his vitals, while also, healing his minor wounds.
Still, anyone watching this could tell he was doomed.
About 40 feet away from this duel, there was another fight taking place.
An ape looking man who was almost 10 feet tall, covered head to foot in thick black hair. Was currently eyeing a young boy named Oren. The youth appeared to be no older than ten, his head was covered in fiery orange hair. He was standing beside a massive emerald colored serpent. This snake was as thick as a tree and roughly 13 ft long.
"Ready yourself, He just transformed into a darkness type beast-warrior."
The huge serpent named Emera, cautioned Oren. Oren replied "Just stay back"
The 'ape' man was the bandit Leo. His body had just undergone a brutal looking transformation although he was originally tall for a human. Now He was massive, his entire body hidden beneath that thick black hair. He was holding a silver warhammer in his right hand while wielding a large black iron shield in the other.
Oren was standing just 15 feet in front of him, not moving at all. Looking at the transformed bandit in front of him, He said mockingly. "Wow you got really big."
Leo just laughed, his voice full of arrogance. "Hahaha now that I have shown you my beast form it is time for you to die kid." Swoosh..... He charged at Oren moving twice as fast as he did before. Oren caught off guard by the speed increase, had no time to react. He barely, managed to raise his arm as the hammer connected.... BOOM..... the impact was terrifying.... Even though somehow He used his right arm to block. He still took that blow full force just alone the shockwave of that collision decimated the trees and plant life around it, the landscape was now looked as if a meter had struck....Oren of course was sent flying....BANG...bang...bang.... splintered wood flew everywhere as he flew backwards from the force of that hammer blow smashing a path through the forest shattering dozens of trees.
"Oren...!" Emeras' panickedly tried to voice to him, as He hit the ground rolling, tumbling quite a distance from where he landed. ....."Oren are you alive".....She got no response. "Oren....." She could only say his name as she rushed to his side. When she approached him. She couldn't believe what she was hearing...."Hahahahahaha." He was laughing.
He had just been hit with enough force to shatter steel, but he was lying on the ground laughing. She thought to herself, this human child is incredible she was starting to feel less ashamed that she lost to him in battle. She moved to the side of him, as He slowly got up. Seeing him okay, inwardly made Emera feel relieved.
Facing the monster in front of him He yelled. "Ok ok so you are a bit stronger and you didn't just get bigger you got a lot faster too. look you actually managed to leave a mark on me." Oren yelling to the beastly looking Leo. Held up his arm, waving it showing a huge purple bruise. However the wound didn't heal immediately like Emeras or Leos. "So I guess I don't need to hide my strength from you anymore." Oren was hollering at the now Beast-formed Leo, but, His face was all smiles. His voice didn't have any bit of fear in it. However, Oren was a little frightened because that hammer was actually able to harm him, plus that shield was also something Oren was worried about but, now wasn't the time for him to show any trace of weakness.
On the other hand Leo was different. When Oren hit the ground, Leo rushed forth at the same time as Emera. Although He moved faster than her, She was closer thus she made it to Oren first. Either way, Leo had been forced to stopped short about 100 ft before reaching Oren. He was just standing there slack jawed, not making a single sound. How could He? He truthfully, was utterly terror-struck, He had thought he would deliver a follow up blow just for good measure. Assuming Oren wasn't already dead. However, He heard Oren at almost the same time as Emera so He halted, not willing to believe his ears. This child was not only still alive... He was laughing... Leo seeing this was scared out of his wits. He decisively looked back at the two ladies behind him. The women were out in the open. The taller woman had only just killed Benny, the area surrounding them having been destroyed by the collateral damage from the battles. The woman was facing Oren and Leos direction, with that strange sword in her hand. Her daughter behind her, still pointing her bow.
"Why isn't she fleeing." Oren couldn't help but say to Emera. "She seems to be protecting the girl, maybe the woman knows, they aren't fast enough to escape." Emera voiced back, giving a good guess. Their exchange of words only took a second before...Fwooosh..... Leo made his decision, at top speed he rushed in the women's direction.
Don't try to run!...." Oren yelled his voice full of bravado, quickly reacting, Swooosh....Swooosh.. Oren charged forward, Emera right beside him. Although He quickly left her behind, moving faster than the eye could follow,
He easily caught up to Leo, the bandit now turned beast. A good distance before He reached the women, Leo felt Orens' presence gaining on him. Oh no.. Oh no! He was panickedly thinking.
Orens speed was unimaginable, Leo had wanted to capture the women to try using them as a bargaining chip. Except now, He knew He wouldn't make It! Oren was right behind him!
Oren managed to close the distance in seconds. Leo had almost no time to react. Nonetheless He was still a full grown adult. Plus a beast-warrior thus, his fighting skills were superior to Orens.
Yet, his speed and strength couldn't be considered a rock, against Orens' mountainous power!
Leo raised his shield just in time.... BANG... Orens right fist struck against the shield.
Causing a huge shockwave as it trembled terribly. Leo had a horrible look on his face as He was being pushed back. ''What are..." He could only mumble a few words, before Oren charged again.
This time striking out with his other fist, still again his punch met the shield.... BOOM..... Another massive shockwave was created. Except this strike seemed to carry more force as Leo was pushed back even further. Oren clearly wasn't trying to give Leo anytime to swing that terrifying warhammer, He Immediately charged again but this time Leo was prepared for it. Hmmmph..." He swung his' hammer with everything He had. Oren was moving towards him, He couldn't dodge. However, instead of him taking a full force blow from that hammer, Oren had another option... PUNCH IT.....Hammer on fist.... BOOM..... The impact was devastating. The forest around them was starting to look like a desert. Everything around them had been destroyed.
Emera, having just made it over from where Oren has sped pass her, starting fearing for Orens' safety, when she saw the destructive energy that the shockwave released. She moved to closer to the fight but, made sure as not to be so close as to hinder Oren but, close enough where she could help if needed. She had nothing to fear from the energy released in the clashes.
It must be realized, that it literally only took a few seconds for Oren to catch Leo. While perhaps even less time, for these few blows to be exchanged.
Oren didn't even stop to breathe, immediately attacking again and, again seemingly, unfazed after just punching Leos' war hammer, but Leo suddenly realized, something was off. Although Oren was a lot faster also much stronger, He wasn't healing! He raised his shield to block...Boom..Oren struck that shield again. However, Leo could clearly see the bruise left on Orens arm by the hammer earlier, had only slightly healed. Plus, Orens' fingers were badly bruised as well, from when he punched the hammer a moment ago. Leo had found a weakness, he found confidence! He lifted his shield to block Oren once again...Bang...The shield shook but, Leo was a full fledged warrior and, He had the advantage of being able to heal any minor damage.
He could easily make up for the power difference. After all Oren just had instinct he didn't have any real combat training. Oren swung again but Leo readily used the shield to block. This time launching a counter attack... Boom..... Leo had swung out with his hammer just as Oren made contact with the shield. Oren didn't have a chance to dodge instead having to use his free arm to block. The result being Oren was knocked back, his other arm now bruised from the impact of that hammer....
He only flew a couple feet before catching himself...Swoosh...Oren charged in again.
Oren was in trouble! He had never been wounded before. He had never felt pain, and what he was feeling now wasn't only pain, it was fear! He had never felt danger for himself, and right now he was sensing a terrible danger... He was lashing out, attacking blindly and, recklessly.
His mind was trapped in a terrified rage. Emera watching this, knew something was wrong, she had wanted to move closer to try helping Him. Oren however, told her to keep her distance so, reluctantly Emera could only watch and, obey.
Leo, relying on his shield and, hammer was now easily deflecting and, countering Orens' animalishly unfocused attacks. He had become arrogant, as he started to effortlessly block and strike. Quickly adapting to Orens' attack pattern, He was now landing one strike after another ...Boom... Leo hit Oren again except He timed this attack perfectly landing a heavy blow on Orens chest. Oren was knocked back again this time collapsing to one knee. "Hahahaha..." Leo was laughing voraciously. "You said you were going to be my killer ha ha haha...." Leo was swollen with arrogance. "A moment ago it seems I overestimated you and to think I was scared of you hahahaha....." Leo was sure he had won this battle. Oren was still kneeling from the last hit, seemingly struggling to stand. His body now completely covered in black and purple bruises. ...Swoosh... Leo charged forward, He was planning to end this bout with a final blow, but, just as he reached Oren. .....FLASH... A blinding light covered the area, causing Leo to pause his assault. Oren seeing this found the strength to retreat putting some distance between Him and Leo. Emera seeing Oren back up, quickly moved to meet Him. "Oren, why aren't you healing." She asked him her voice was extremely fearful but, Oren didn't respond, He just looked towards that light.
When the light dissipated. Everyone realized what happened, the girl with the bow made her move. In the midst of Oren and Leos battle, She saw an opportunity. She fired her bow at Leo hoping to take advantage of the situation, and deal some massive damage to him. However the arrow didn't do a thing, although it pierced his flesh the explosion didn't destroy any part of him instead it just slightly penetrated his shoulder. "Hahaha..." He laughed. "How dare you try and injure me." He looked back at the girl who was standing there behind her mother. The Woman was watching the battle still holding her sword. She was only concerned about the safety of her daughter. Leo opened his mouth instantly a large black sphere shot out hurling towards the mother and daughter. Although, it was moving quickly it wasn't moving terribly fast. "Emera go.." Oren yelled weakly. He was obviously still concerned about the women's safety.
Immediately she acted, moving to intercept that energy orb rushing towards it at full speed.
She easily got in front of that energy ball, Emera opened her mouth revealing two 11 inch fangs along with two rows of smaller teeth. ..FWOOOSH.... A large blast of Dragon Venom spewed forth from her massive maw. It was like a violet waterfall. It rushed out colliding with the blast Leo had fired, easily overtaking it.
..HISSSSS... The dark energy orb fizzled out. While, the stream of venomous Liquid continued forward, its target was now the beast looking Leo. Leo howled as he swung his shield to block the river of venom. HISSSSSSSS.... The venom blast hit the shield and died out only slightly damaging the shield. However, Leo made a mistake, for a split second he forgot about Oren but, Oren didn't forget about him. At the same time Leo fired his energy blast at the woman and daughter, Oren saw his chance. Ignoring his wounds He charged Leo at full speed, moving so fast the air itself seemed to tremor. Oren knew as we He couldn't win, unless somehow that shield was removed from play,
so, when Leo turned the shield to block Emera, Oren acted. He only needed a small opening, He was already capable of easily killing Leo. Leo had the confidence in his face abruptly vanish, once again terror gripped his heart. He had chosen to block the venom with his shield. He didn't think Oren would attack at that exact same time.
He thought, Oren was too weak to launch another attack so soon but, he was wrong.
Oren charged as soon as that venom hit the shield, covering the distance almost instantly. Leo understood that He would not be able to guard with his shield and, of course Oren wasn't going to punch the hammer again. He knew very well He was only able to survive using his serperior combat skills and, because of that shield, if he wasn't able to block he didn't stand chance. Leo realizing he was about to die, was no longer scared he wasn't even sad, He was angry
Angry at himself because, earlier when He and his bandit squad were moving towards this area, hoping to do, who knows what to those women. He knew that he was being followed by Emera. Still, He was under the impression it was only one creature. Why then would He have been worried? He didn't know that Oren was riding on top of it.
Even if he did, why would he fear a child? He thought for sure He would easily defeat that beast and, capture the women. After all he was a mighty beast-warrior. Who else could boast this but, today he met his match. How would he have known, that this kid who he looked down on, far outstripped his speed and power. Had it not been for his weapons he would be dead already.
"Noooo..." He could only scream, Oren approached him faster than sound. "Time to to die." Oren hollered like a madman as, Leo tried his best to raise his hammer, his shield was still facing Emera. Too late. Oren was right in front of him. ....WHAM... Orens left foot connected with Leos chest leaving a large indent. Oren again didn't give Leo any time to react, ...WHACK.... Orens right hand palm slapped the arrow sticking out of Leos Left shoulder, striking it so hard it tore in deeper and came out the other side. "Raaaaaawwwwwr" Leo howled in pain, but Oren was not done.
As soon as that arrow came out of the other side of Leos body, Oren grabbed it with his left hand. ....Woosh... With a vicious swing he stabbed the arrow tip, directly into the right side of Leos head. ...Crack.....Leos skull was pierced! Oren had finally killed Him. Oren finishing His attack collapsed to one knee, Emera once again moving to his side voicing, "Oren are you ok." She felt bad because, she didn't attack sooner but, She was uncertain of the outcome and, truth be told She was a little scared. Oren stood up stretching, looking at his body still covered in purplish bruises He said, "..Emera dont worry Im fine....." As He was speaking He looked at the women in the distance. "We should go meet them." Emera looked at him pondering for a moment, She couldn't understand how Oren wasn't hurt, when, just a second ago he was on the ground but now, he seems fine. She felt her worry melt away as, she looked at this bruised boy in front of her. she thought he really is special. She then voiced back to Oren. "lets go."

Who else could boast this but, today he met his match. How would he have known, that this kid who he looked down on, far outstripped his speed and power. Had it not been for his weapons he would be dead already.
"Noooo..." He could only scream, Oren approached him faster than sound. "Time to to die." Oren hollered like a madman as, Leo tried his best to raise his hammer, his shield was still facing Emera. Too late. Oren was right in front of him. ....WHAM... Orens left foot connected with Leos chest leaving a large indent. Oren again didn't give Leo any time to react, ...WHACK.... Orens right hand palm slapped the arrow sticking out of Leos Left shoulder, striking it so hard it tore in deeper and came out the other side. "Raaaaaawwwwwr" Leo howled in pain, but Oren was not done.
As soon as that arrow came out of the other side of Leos body, Oren grabbed it with his left hand. ....Woosh... With a vicious swing he stabbed the arrow tip, directly into the right side of Leos head. ...Crack.....Leos skull was pierced! Oren had finally killed Him. Oren finishing His attack collapsed to one knee, Emera once again moving to his side voicing, "Oren are you ok." She felt bad because, she didn't attack sooner but, She was uncertain of the outcome and, truth be told She was a little scared. Oren stood up stretching, looking at his body still covered in purplish bruises He said, "..Emera dont worry Im fine....." As He was speaking He looked at the women in the distance. "We should go meet them." Emera looked at him pondering for a moment, She couldn't understand how Oren wasn't hurt, when, just a second ago he was on the ground but now, he seems fine. She felt her worry melt away as, she looked at this bruised boy in front of her. she thought he really is special. She then voiced back to Oren. "lets go."
