41 Not Interested

The five animals looked at Chen Ming You in the distance. After their mission, they notice that she was slightly different but when she was alone. She always has that melancholy air around her.

She looked so close but she's actually so far away.

Lan Bao and the others secretly watch her sitting there. The gentle breeze that touches her robes and hair dances. It was beautiful but somehow they fell the sadness.

Ever since she could remember, people had always hated her. 'How could so many people hold such intense hatred for a 5-year old who only said such true words? Well, you might ask yourself. In the first place, Chen Ming Yu wasn't an average child. She had something on her, an ability that she inherits from her tribe.

Her red eye can sense aura even from afar. It was like she can see everything. She knows everyone is watching her secretly. She knows someone is observing her waiting for an opportunity to strike. Everyone seemed to love watching her.

And even though she's wearing an eye-patch she can still see through. There was a dark aura hanging in the air. The aura is the same to those soul devourers. Here, in the academy, there is too many of them, shrouding the air in pure darkness.

It made her laugh, lightly. How can she defeat the soul devourers if they don't have a body? The one she had fought in the dark forest made it easy since it has a body. And she's not the only one who can see it. But now, she was a little bit afraid that she's the only one who can see it now.

However, she decided.

"I won't run anymore." They heard her say.

"If the heaven says this is my fate...Then I will walk straight up ahead. Even if it's a bloody thorny path. No matter what lies ahead...I will face it."

The five animals listen, Lan Bao, become teary-eyed. Feng Bai punches the air in happiness when the fearless Chen Ming Yu is here again. While the three men stood there, watching Chen Ming Yu's resolution. They clench their fist.

"Ming Yu, we will follow you in hell or in heaven. We'll face together on what lies ahead."

"It's fate that brings us together."

"No matter what happened, we will be together. And if heaven allows us, it will be forever."

A small gentle smile appeared on her lips when she heard those words by Jun Xi, Yi Gu, and Dei Min. She would be lying if she said she wasn't moved.

"Thank you." She didn't look at them, she's afraid that they see her ugly crying face. She bit her lip to avoid letting out her sobs.

She admits. She needed someone by her side ever since her good grandfather and mother left her. Those two was her last straw. Since she decided to face whatever lies ahead, she will help and protect them no matter what. Including on sacrificing herself.

Chen Ming Yu along with the five animals walked around the academy. As they walking around the academy, they met the arrogant and despotic Hou Fou!

"Well, well, well. Look what we have here. The Knight Wolves. Who doesn't know how to pick treasure, instead they end up picking the trash. There are people who don't really know how to use their eyes."

"And there are some people who really can't wait for their tongue to be cut off." Feng Bai said with a mocking smile on her face as she spoke slowly and clearly.

Lan Bao and the three men sniggered. While our little girl just stood there quietly. A light flash through her eyes as it squinted slightly.

"How are you gonna cut it, huh?" Huo Fou arrogantly said and huffed coldly. His gazed linger on the quiet Chen Ming Yu.

"Chen Ming Yu! Are you afraid now? Inside the academy, I am more superior! If you kowtow to me now, I will accept your apology and forget what you did to me in the past!"

"Superior? Inside this academy, we're all equal. If you're saying that you're superior because you enter this academy a year before, then let's just exchange notes to see who's more superior between us."

"You!"

"What? Are you scared? You did learn something while staying here right?"

"Me? Scared of you? Ha!" Hou Fou snorted and laugh tyrannically. When he remembered what happened in the battle of honor, his body slightly trembled.

"Well, anyway. I have never had an interest in fighting you." Chen Ming Yu said truthfully and Hou Fou secretly sigh but what comes next from her lips deeply enrage Hou Fou to the extent.

"It's a waste of my time arguing with you." With that, they left while the five animals restrain themselves from laughing.

Just who the hell does this Chen Ming Yu think she is?!
