70 Chapter 70- Mistress' Chamber 1

The day after, Bai Xia was informed to stay at Dr. Zhu's office and wait for her before going to Mengjing.

She didn't have to wait for too long since her shift is 9am, same time which Dr. Zhu usually arrives.

"I wonder when will you be late in any occassion. You'll probably be 30minutes standing in the door way even on the day of your wedding." Celestine said while giving a slight chuckle.

"Dr. Zhu, I admire your humor. I just got used to arriving early even in my own clinic before. And I'm single. I don't have plans on marrying someone in this life time. The world is already too much for me." Bai Xia smiled and gave a sad smile.

"Well, you really can't tell. But for now, we'll be late on our own time. Let's go."

And the two women rode the horizontal elevator.

When they arrived at Mengjing, their other team members were not arround yet.

"Today, I'll show you the Mistress' Chamber to be. We'll have to wear everything neccessary not to carry any type of bacteria to that place."

Then she handed a white big pouch to Bai Xia. The pouch contained a different and new set of lab gown, mask, hair cover, gloves and even foot rag. Celestine led her to the center of the dome where a white jade statue of a goddess was placed. It looks so smooth and shiny. Its eyes were pure white and a remarkable thing about is a globe that she is holding.

"Do you know who she is?" Celestine asked as she looked up on the statue.

"She's said to be Mother Gaia, the loving Mother of the Earth. She is said to be the carrier of the world on her bossom. Guess why she's the one who was placed here in Mengjing."

"..." Bai Xia tried to think of it for a while but she can't figure out even with her present IQ.

Celestine smiled and pushed something at the statue's feet. Suddenly the floor opened.
