43 Chapter 43- Unforgotten Tales 3

The world stopped as she stared deep into his eyes. She stared at him without blinking trying to calm her raging heart.

"Mo...Zhao..." her voice trembled. Seemingly preventing her from speaking another word.

Mo Zhaoshan smiled at her with tears in his eyes. Those eyes flashed myriad of emotions. Loneliness, happiness, longingness.

He looked at her intently, afraid that she'll disappear once again.

He held her hand tightly as his other hand carressed her face.

Xiaxia looked at him with her breath on her throat. It was totally unexplainable. She squeezed his hand and her heart clenched with the same amout of emotions flashing through his eyes.

Her body trembled with sea's wind brushing through them. That moment was too magical too be describe.

"Shan....

shanshan..." she gathered all her strength to call upon his name.

Mo Zhaoshan smiled as tears poured down on his cheecks. He nodded.

Xiaxia lost control and threw herself at him. She hugged him with all her might. She cried and cried because in this world, no words can describe how much she missed him. All these years, she's been alone and miserable. The happiness that she thought would last forever happens to be her biggest misery.

But now... she found him.

Mo Zhaoshan steadied himself and let the woman cry in his arms. He never expected that this would come earlier. She's finally here, his queen, his life.

They didn't know how long they have been hugging each other. All that matters is to fill their longing hearts with the unspeakable emotions right now.

They stayed like that for God knows how long, under the stary skies, the cold breeze of the sea. They didn't seperate until their bodies went numb and realize that they are in a bit awkward position.

Mo Zhaoshan's legs were half opened and Xiaxia landed in between as she threw herself on his arms.

"Little dumpling, be careful where you sit and how you hug me. We're grown ups now." He teasingly said, whispering into her ear.

Xiaxia blushed and shyly separated her body.

She pinched Mo Zhaoshan's cheeck til he almost screamed.

And they laughed at themselves.

He hugged her again and Xiaxia fortunately let him be.

"I almost flipped the whole world to find you. Sorry for coming a little late if not---"

"Sssshh... you're here now. So never leave me again, yes?" She childishly said while hugging him tighter.

Mo Zhaoshan laughed and answered in the most loving way he could.

"En, never again...

I missed you Little Dumpling."

Xiaxia didn't hestitate to answer as tears started to fall again,

"Shanshan, I missed you too."
