"What awaited them...is..." Mo Zhaoshan's voice became hoarse and a little shaky.

Hearing this, Xiaxia's throat became dry as her whole body is suddenly stiff and she felt like the story is somewhat familar. Her heartbeat went fast as her stomach seems to be in turmoil.

He looked far away to the horizon and his eyes were a little wet.

A tear suddenly fell on his cheecks. And he still looked at the horizon with those deep emerald eyes.

"One day he woke up and he found himseld lying here on the sands. This is the particular place where he landed. He saw his parents running towards him. He looked for the young princess, but she was not found.... Since then...." he stopped for a while and looked at Bai Xia. Upon seeing his lonely face and tear tinted cheecks, Xiaxia's tears began to flow on hers as well. She clutched her heart, it hurts alot.

"Since then, he stayed here for days and never left. Hoping that she'll land here someday as well. But..."

"But w-what? Did- did he find her?" she asked nervously.

Mo Zhaoshan shook his head and stayed silent. He faced her and placed his tumb on her cheecks to wiped away her tears.

"No...he didn't...." he said as he sniffed and his eyes were full of loneliness.

The feeling was so surreal. She suddenly thought of Shanshan and the emotions within her all welled out from her eyes.

Just as she wants to break free from his tumb wipping her cheecks, she heard him say.
