23 Chapter 23- House of Asclepius

"Alright so uhmmm I dunno where to start actually. But let's just touch a little bit beginning from our House." Celestine said after taking a sip on the coffee that arrived.

Bai Xia took a sip as well while casually listening to Celestine.

"Have you heard of Asclepius before?" she asked Xiaxia.

"God of Medicine, Greek Mythology." Xiaxia responded quickly.

"Right. There are fourteen Houses and one Powerhouse so far. Our House is one of the major houses although Asclepius is not frequently mentioned in the history. As stated, Asclepius, the god of medicine, is our house's line of business. Anything connected to medicine. Hospital, Pharmaceutical, Labs, Medicine Technology and we have supported all branches of medicine. This is the main lab. It is the most secluded and prioritized lab because it handles the 'Holy Dream Project', a top notch secret research."

Holy Dream Project? Xiaxia's heart grew curiosity but she's not in the position to ask this. As she mentioned, top notch secret.

"No need to discuss the Holy Dream Project. You say, fourteen houses. Which house Mr. Mo belongs to?" she asked.

"The powerhouse. House of Olympus" Celestine said seriously.

"On how we acted towards Zhaoshan, you can roughly guess who he is. The fourteen houses differs in line of business to prevent competition from the branch families."

Fourteen Houses and a Powerhouse. A new sight of the world opened Xiaxia's eyes.

Just how big this empire is?

"I see. That's enough for me. I understand that there are things that shouldn't be disclosed just like that." she said thoughtfully to Celestine.

Celestine smiled and eyed Xiaxia.

She seems not to be that interested like the other girls who wakes up for another day just to show off and throw themselves at Zhaoshans arms, and this sister is thoughtful. IQ, Check! EQ, BIG CHECK!

They finished their coffee and went up stairs.

They shared thoughts in the field of medicine looking very professional.

"Ehem. Master Mo, Celestine seems to be in the better side of Ms. Bai." Butler Rong said while they spotted the two mesmerizing figures coming towards them.

Elegance and beauty. Smart and mesmerizing.

Intelligence indeed is the sexiest thing a woman can have.

"For the next few months, you'll be assigned here. Work alongside with Celestine. You'll learn from each other alot." Mo Zhaoshan looked at Celestine and gave her the signal.

"Thank you, President Mo." Xiaxia bowed slightly without any emotion of gratitude or joy, nor disappointment or disagreement.

"Dr. Bai, although my team handle the operation of this whole facility's operation, there is a major role that we are currently in charge with. Let's go to the top floor."

They're currently at the second level which is filled with doctors disecting different species here and there. They need to take an elevator to the top floor.

They took the regular elevator which is all covered with glass, over looking the four floors of the building.

Mo Zhaoshan stood there elegantly with his own bubble space. The elevator can accommodate ten persons but it is only the four of them together with Butler Rong.

"You'll be my personal executive assistant and personal pyschologist. Saying that you're my pyschologist will stir a bit of trouble outside. So you can take the spot of executive assistant instead." he said expressionlessly.

"En." Xiaxia answered.

Its just that, she noticed that the elevator stopped a bit upon reaching the fifth floor and opened.

She glanced at the floor and to her surprise, there are no equipements around or any doctors running here and there.

Is this a type of trick again?! Am I really an outdated doctor?!

"Don't be surprised. This fifth floor my office alone. Let's head to the secret lab now." Celestine smiled at her.

And she tapped something as a new elevator appeared. ○.○ Elevator?! This is just five floors right?!

They all entered and Xiaxia wanted to remain her composure but to no avail. Then the elevator started to move forward.
