15 Chapter 15- The god's poisonous tongue

"Come with me" he said seriously while staring with his deep emerald eyes. He looked so majestic with his golden hair neatly combed to the side.

Come with who? HUH.

"Come with you?" she smirked and turned to her work mode cold face. She often put up with this front whenever she want to hide what she really thinks. What is this man up to? I've been a psychologist for some years now and my skills aren't mediocre compared to other doctors out there. But this man changes his face too often and is harder to read than most patients.

"Yes." he gave a resolute answer as he walked to a chair and crossed his legs then leaned on it. No matter how hard a woman's heart could be, it's impossible not to be moved by that god like image.

"You're my patient, I'm your doctor. Let's be clear about that fact" Xiaxia said while crossing her arms on her chest. She looked tough and indestructible. But we bystanders know how broken she is.

He chuckled lightly. My wife is a sleeping tigress indeed. And she's roaring at me right now?

"Dr. Bai must be jesting if you think there's more to it right now. Of course, after you fainted in my arms yesterday, brought you home and rest in my place, how would you repay me?" he smiled cheekily at Xiaxia which made her nerves itchy once again.

That forehead slap isn't enough. She gritted her teeth and bent her back in a bow.

"Well, pardon for my lack of courtesy. Thank you Mr. Mo for your kidness. Someday I will repay you with anything I could. But now I have nothing." she said seriously. That's the truth. I'm nothing right now.

Zhaoshan stood and walked towards Xiaxia.

She can smell the sandalwood getting stronger as he walks towards her and her heartbeat seems to be a little strange.

Zhaoshan held Xiaxia's chin and lifted it up. He can smell her breath due to the closeness of their distance. It was like a fresh summer in the midst of winter, a spring in the middle of fall.

Xiaxia gulped hard upon seeing the jerk god's face few inches away from her face. His emerald eyes were the first green eyes she ever saw in her life. His neatly combed golden hair.

"Come with me" he repeated. Xiaxia's hands went cold. Her veins sprouted warm blood all over her system.

"Wanna come with me? Or...

wanna cOOOOOme with me?" he emphasized the second letter which made it sound like "something else" with his perveted ways.

Xiaxia felt like slapping this god on the face as her face turned green in anger. All she coulf do is scoff and harrumped which made the god laugh at her again.

"Dr. Bai...Fine let's be serious. I investigated everything....as in EVERYTHING about you. So, come with me and be my personal doctor. You can work in my laboratory as well and get paid off. Since it took me alot of effort to explain to you, then it's not a request but a statement already. Start next week. Rest here for the mean time. Don't worry, you'll be treated fairly." then he stood and walks to the door.

Of course Xiaxia wasn't able to process everything coz he dropped the bomb just like that. Work for him? Laboratory? Not bad. I got nothing to lose anyway.

He was about to exit when he stopped on his steps and turned around, seemingly remembered something.

Oh geez, can he stop using that poisonous perverted tongue on me now?

"Don't worry Xiaxia, I'll help you throught it all. All you need is to stay." then he finally went out, leaving Xiaxia puzzled.

Of course she knew that he already knew what predicament she was fallen into since he said he investigated everything about her.

But why?

A blurred sillhouette flashed in her mind,

"I'll help you throught it all, just stay here and be a good girl, yeah?" then he patted her forehead.
