CH 15

This was the nine-tailed fox cub released by Rong Heng on the day of the auction. The cub was never seen again afterward. Unexpectedly, she not only escaped but also stole the nutritional supplements from his house.

Rong Heng looked at the cub.

Ruan Shiqing came back in a racing shuttle.

As soon as he parked the car in the yard, he saw the puppy squatting at the door, tilting his head to look at himself.

Ruan Shiqing's heart softened and he jumped out of the car. He strode forward, picked him up, and rubbed him randomly. "Is Snowball waiting for Dad to come home?"

Rong Heng, who had just heard the sound and came out to see:… I can't refute it anyway, you say yes, right?

He gave up his defense and probed to see the racing shuttle in the yard. He has only seen this kind of rudimentary shuttle racing car in a video, and this is the first time he has seen the real thing.

When Ruan Shiqing finally rubbed enough, Rong Heng jumped off and spun around the shuttle. The puppy was not big at first, but recently his injuries have healed a lot, and he became more rounded. He looked like a snowball rolling around the racing shuttle.

Ruan Shiqing smiled.

Seeing this scene, the little mermaid on the second floor wanted to shout out, but couldn't make a sound, so he could only slap his tail anxiously and make an "aah" sound.

09 has a wide range of hearing and immediately noticed the movement upstairs.

He volunteered, "I'll take the little master down!"

It was really boring for the little mermaid to stay upstairs, Ruan Shiqing thought about it and agreed with 09's proposal.

09 went upstairs and carried the eager little mermaid out of the bucket. The little mermaid plus the tail is actually taller than him. But 09 felt that he was already a mature robot, and the little mermaid was still an immature cub, so he took out the attitude of an elder to take care of the cub. He wiped the water stains on the little mermaid before using a large towel to wrap him up and carry him downstairs.

The little mermaid, who had never been downstairs except the day they moved, looked around curiously, his pale cheeks flushed with excitement.

(T/N TBH though, I'm kinda glad this is not one of those futuristic mecha/gamer/war sort of novels, cuz that's just too many technical words I'd have to deal with. This is simple enough and doesn't make it the entirety of the plot.)
