Chapter 211 - 211 Lexus' Dark Plans

October looked at Lexus in surprise. He had just suddenly sat upright with his phone still on his ear as his face was black as coal. Just from his heavy expression was enough for October to know that something undesirable must have happened. 

This was not enough, however, for Lexus had stood up from the sofa and took a couple of steps away from October as if he does not want her to hear what their conversation was. That was his intention because he does not want his wife to get worried and worked up with those unimportant people. It may affect her mood and may affect her pregnancy. 

Lexus vowed that he would take great care of October, shielding her from all of the evil surrounding her. He really does not know why people would not just stop in reaching their claws at his wife. 

Lexus was so furious that he had burst in laughter so cold it could freeze someone's heart. 

"Good, just good. They had really dared to try and tarnish the good reputation of my wife." Lexus hissed as his eyes flashed killing intent. "Have you already traced the source?"

Lexus jaw tightened. It was going just great as he spent his time leisurely with his wife and yet people had to disturb it. He clicked his tongue and run his fingers through his smooth black hair before shoving it back in his pants.

"I--We are still working on it, young master." Assistant Yu's voice trailed and feeble. But who wouldn't when he had felt that dark and menacing miasma that seemed to leek out of his phone and clutched on his throat to choke him to death? He was so scared.

'Haha. My life's just too pitiful ah. Pitiful.' Assistant Yu felt like crying but had no tears to cry. Again, he felt that he was too pitiful. 

"You better do it fast." He said with finality and impatience clear in his voice. 

"Yes. Oh! I just received a message from big brother Luke. He said that he will send the information he gathered to you." Assistant Yu perked up and told his boss about this. He felt so relieved that he can finally breath easily right now. 

"Okay." Lexus nodded his head. "Have you prepared the things that I wanted you to do?"

"Yes, young master. You don't have to worry about that. I have already recieved confirmation from the investors and our directors."

"Good. Have those negative articles drop." Lexus started but then changed his mind. "No, nevermind that. It would be good that it will be exposed that she's already my wife. Just have those people who bullied my wife blocked."

After saying that, Lexus ended the call and sure enough, as he checked his messages, there was one. He opened it.

As he read, his eyes darkened almost making his blue eyes into dark pools of ink. His anger rose that he could not stop the cold smile on his face to stretch from ear to ear.

'Some people really just could not their growing greed. They wanted to devour things they could not devour. But that's good too. With that, it'll be easy to prey over them and kill them in one fell swoop.'

He lowered his eyes with cunning eyes. After he gave his thanks to Luke, he then shoved his phone into his pocket and turned, planning to go back on his wife's comfortable l.a.p. 

But as soon as he turned, he came face to face with his beautiful wife. He was totally stunned. He did not expect that she would be standing behind him. 

'Since when did she stood behind me? Did she hear my conversation with Xi? No, that's impossible. Still, I couldn't not think that she did not understand anything about that considering that my wife is very sharp and intelligent.'

"Are you talking about some articles about me?" She silently looked at Lexus' face and basing from the grim look on his face when mentioning "articles," she was right. 

Lexus looked at his wife and saw how calm she was. Somehow, he helt his heart ache for her. No matter, she was the woman he was in love with. With that, he would do everything he could just to keep her safe. His brow slightly furrowed as he wrapped his arms around her.

"How did you know about that?" He asked quietly while combing her smooth and fragrant wavy hair of black.

"Xixi told me. She was fuming with anger with the people's negative comments." She replied nonchalantly as if the person involve in that article was not her. 

Lexus had the corner of his lip twitch. He was making sure that October would not know of this but that girl was too loquacious and could not keep her mouth shut. 

'That little girl...'

Still, Lexus was not angry at all at Yun Xixi. He knew that October was very fond of this little girl. And so, he would not lift his hand on her for he might get the ire of his wife. 

"I'll cook something for you. Do you have anything yo wanted to eat right now?" October lifted her head up to look face to face with Lexus. 

"I want to eat pork." He smilingly replied.

"Okay. I'll make some garlic pork with lemon." October nodded her head and let go of him to make her way toward the kitchen to prepare their dinner.

Even so, she paused her steps only to look back at Lexus with a serious and determined look on her face. 

"Right. Before I forget to ask, are you planning something on the Park family?" She asked with her eyes squinting.

Lexus smirked after having yet another bout of surprise. He really have to give it to his wife. She was too sharp. But he like it. 

"Do you want me to stop?" He asked with a doting smile on his dazzling face and crossed his arms over his c.h.e.s.t, making his muscles to flex and more apparent.

"No. I'm already done with them. I don't want to associate myself with them aside from my brother." She replied and turned to continue to walk her way toward the kitchen.

Lexus looked at the dainty back of his wife and his lips pursed into a fine line. He was deep in thought before pulling his phone out and sent a message to Assistant Yu to give him the "Go" signal. 

"My wife really is just too kind. But that's all the more I want to destroy those who offend her."
