Chapter 174 - 174 Happy Except For Two

October and Lexus kissed as if there was no tomorrow. 

They kissed and kissed...and kissed...and kissed...and ki...Damn it! 

'Why the f*ck are they still kissing?! How long are they going to kiss and let us bachelors green with envy! This annoying bastard!' Gu Chen gritted his teeth as his eyes were filled with bitterness while looking at Lexus having his way with October without any care of a hundred eyes watching them. 

He knew that his friend was indifferent and does not really care what other people would think about him, but to think that it was to this degree! It was really an eye-opener for him. He never thought that Lexus was a big fat shameless bastard. 

'Spare us from this kind of torture, you two.' Gu Chen wanted to scream but had to bite his tongue to stop him from saying anything. However, his red face and glaring eyes said it all. 

"This bastard!" Grandpa He was shaking in anger. If not because there were a lot of guests, he would hae already jumped on Lexus and start beating him to death. 

"Master, you face." Assistant Ke reminded Grandpa He who had his face contorted in fury. If looks could really kill, Assistant Ke was sure that his master had already killed Lexus a thousand, no, a million times. 

Being reminded of this, Grandpa He forcefully swallowed his anger, but he did had some internal damage because of this. 

Lexus chuckled while he was still kissing October. He was not at all dense with everything, especially from people relating to his wife. That's why, he noticed the burning and murderous gaze burning a hole at the back of his head coming from Grandpa He. 

Lexus and October parted and both of their faces were flushed red. Their eyes were passionately staring at each other. 

Lovingly wiping the wet lips of October with his thump, with a voice loud enough for only the two of them to hear, he said, "I'll stop here for now. However, I'll eat you later."

"Wha-" October's eyes widened and her face reddened even more. She slightly frowned when she saw the teasing light in his ocean eyes, drowning her in its deep whirlpools. 

No. She has to keep herself together in order for her not to look foolish in front of other people. 

Other people...

October gasped and turned around only to see their knowing smiles and hear their whistles. 

October's face stiffened up as embarrassment crept on her. How can she make a blunder of herself? She had let their guests see her with a lovestruck look on her face. 

At this moment, while October does not know what to do anymore, a warm hand tightly held her waist. This was a touch that gave her warmth and made her secure. Instantly, she turned to Lexus in surprise only to see him looking at her with affection. 

This man, this wonderful man, was her husband. 

"Have you fallen for me even more?" Lexus raised his brow at her with a slight grin on his dazzling face.

October's face darkened for a moment as she refuted, "Don't be too full of yourself."

Lexus only chuckled at this. 

Half of the guests are from the Song and He families. The rest are close friends of Grandpa He and Father and Mother Song. There were also guests of October.

The guests were mingling quite well and were also making connections while they were at it. It was really lively as they slowly headed to the greenhouse only a few meters away from there where the reception will take place. 

They were pleasantly guided toward the greenhouse. 

All were happy during this occassion except for two people; that is, Fu Yung and Peizhi. 

Lexus and October happily walked toward the greenhouse. They were always surrounded by the guests. 

"Congratulations, Lan'er. I could not believe that the next time I'll see you will be today at you wedding." He Jie, the eldest son of Grandpa He, October's uncle, said with an apologetic look in his face. He really does not have any reasonable excuse to October and so chose to not say anything. However, he was really happy that his neice was looking happy. 

"Congrats, cousin." He Min sweetly said to October and Lexus. She could not believe that she had such a pretty cousin like October. She was really taken aback. Her eyes glowed in admiration. She wanted to get close to her older cousin. And them her cousin even married such a handsome man from a renowned family that was on equal footing like their family. 

"You're really pretty, cousin. I want to be like you and marry a man like your husband but more handsome than him." He Min was in awe as she looked at the otherworldly couple in front of her. 

He Jie chuckled awkwardly at his daughter's words. "I'm sorry about this, Lan'er. She's still six years old. I hope you won't get offended from her words. She's still young and doesn't know what she's talking."

"Thank you, uncle." October said this and looked down on  He Min. She then gave a small and gentle smile and said, "Thank you for your compliment, Min." 

Instantly, the little girl's face flushed as she shyly twirled her hair around her finger. 

The corner of Lexus' lips twitched. He could not believe that a little girl had fallen for his wife. How dangerous was his wife was?

"Director, congratulations!" Yun Xixi excitedly said this through her tears. That was just an understatement. She was in fact a total mess. However, she was still looking cute while crying. This was what Assistant Yu was thinking. He wanted to go to her and comfort her. 

"Now, now. Xixi, control your tears." Ma Rong gently patted the back of Yun Xixi. Although she was in tears, she was able to control herself. After saying this to Xixi, she turned her teary gaze to October and and went to hug her, "I'm so happy for you, Berry. Really so happy."

"Mm. Thank you, Rong'er." October had on a very warm smile as she let Ma Rong hug her despite the murderous look of Lexus. She ignored him and hugged Ma Rong. 

She was really touched by Yun Xixi and Ma Rong. However, she was still not able to see Elise from anywhere. Where was she? October wondered.

"Don't touch my wife so casuall." 

"Don't be stingy, stingy." Ma Rong rolled her eyes at Lexus' petty actions. Still, she let go of October in order to save her neck. 

"You look really gorgeous, Berry. I think I'm falling for y--ehem, I mean, your husband will defintely fall for you again and again." Ma Rong forced out an awkward smile.

"You look s.e.xy and hot yourself, you know." October raised her elegant brow as she looked at Ma Rong from head to toe before nodding her head in satisfaction. 

"R-really? Don't I look awkward in it?" Ma Rong blushed and turned to look down.

"Yes, sweety. You look amazing." Mother Song nodded her head in agreement with October. 

Gu Chen felt the familiarity before when he saw Ma Rong. His heart was beating so hard in his c.h.e.s.t as if it was about to explode. The beating in his c.h.e.s.t was so loud it was deafening him.

"So, he was a...girl?"
