3 Cheating boyfriend

It was a few weeks back before Elisa started dating Trevor. Although, he had a girlfriend of his own they usually sneak around. When Elisa told her friends about it, they were rather stupefied because she just broke up with another one of her boyfriends.

It was Annabelle who later remembering to ask her about his other relationship, as it was pretty known in their university that Trevor had a cute little girl for his girlfriend. Hearing this Rose and Emma as if been struck by a common knowledge turned to look at Annabelle before settling their eyes on Elisa waiting for an answer.

Elisa was probably too happy and answered straight without thinking "Well, it is not like they will be dating much longer" looking at her beautifully polished nails. She didn't even notice the looks on her best friends face. Emma who was too slow to get the meaning behind Elisa's words earlier spat out the drink in her mouth splashing its content on Rose who was seated in front of her when she registered her words. 'So dirty' Emma heard Rose say causing a bout of laughter from Annabelle.

"Wait, what did you just say now Liz?, I mean what!" Emma exclaimed after questioning Elisa ignoring the disgust plastered on Rose's face. Elisa finally looked up from watching her nails like she was satisfied with the results. "Well, since you asked nicely I will tell you" she cleared her throat as if waiting for them to beg her, seeing them getting disinterested she finally told them

"Geez, you guys I know you are interested in knowing it big time, so stop pretending" Rose looked at her like something was wrong with her brains but didn't bother to comment. Elisa took that as her cue and decided to spill the beans "We got together a few days back, he is so good to me and I really like him. Guys this time I think it is real" she said happily like a little girl in love. "Humph, you said that last time, what was his name again, prince, Zack, bishop..... " Rose started listing the names of all the guys Elisa had dated before in the past. Emma who was usually the one with a comeback in the group couldn't help but chime in also listing names. Finally, Elisa replied in a deathly serious manner "Hey! this time it is real, I know I say that often but it is really real" she put on her signature poker face when she noticed the duo had no plans of stopping their list.

Annabelle who had remained silent for some time now decided to speak up "E, I care about you, we all do. But don't you think a guy who 'cheated' on his own girlfriend with you will surely do the same to you if the roles were reversed" She laid emphasis on the word cheated. "What do you mean by that? why would he cheat on me? I am not the one who could not keep my guy and left him alone to find his happiness outside or am I? I don't even know why I'm telling you this, anyway he is breaking up with her today, so officially I am now his girlfriend after sneaking around for so long. Arrgh, finally"

"You do know she has a good point E," Rose said with a serious tone. Emma agreed by nodding her head like a rattlesnake. "I know what I am doing and he can not even do better than me, so thanks but no thanks, I expected you guys will be happy for me not trying to tell me everything I did wrong, or what I can or cannot do"

"We are all concerned about you here, it is not like there is another meaning to it, so why don't you slow your roll. I expected the sneaking around and cheating from Emma not you" Rose said agitated

"Hey! I am right here and that is not fair" Emma put on a sad face before finally laughing and agreeing "OMG, that is so true and it is really fun,you should try it sometimes Rose" "All my relationships need to be serious with marriage in mind" "but thank you for your advice I can see what a really good friend you are" Rose added sarcastically earning laughter from all of them in the room. Forgetting the real matter they were discussing earlier.

Back to the present day

Rose was still angry at Elisa and decided to spill a little of Annabelle's secret "For your information, A, liked Tony Madriguez before but stepped down because of you. Even if she has a nonexistent love life, I believe we are the cause, not just because of what happened to her in the past but also because she keeps us on the right path. I might be the one people think is more mature in the group but A, is responsible for the way I am" "You know what it means if she is angry and you need to apologize before it is too late because we need her"

"More like she needs us" Elisa replied indignantly

'I will never apologize to that pauper no matter what, it is not like we really need her, so I don't get why Rose is so mad, thinking of it Rose has started getting closer to the bitch these days' Elisa thought to herself while having a self-satisfied smile on her face.

Emma looked at her best Friends for a while before the silence was broken by the sound of her ringtone. She stood up and walked out of the room leaving Rose and Elisa to what looked like a staring contest.

"Look, E, I know you probably do not want to hear this but....." "But what?" Elisa cut Rose off before continuing slowly through gritted teeth "Since you know I don't want to hear it then why are you still talking about it?" Elisa glared at Rose before standing up to leave since she had to sit back down before when Rose was trying to caution her and make her see reason. She strutted off with her red high heels clicking on the floor.
