2 Nonexistent love life

"Rose, what is the meaning of this?" Elisa said through gritted teeth. If that was what her friends think of her, just imagining what outsiders will say made her frown. Elisa looked up at Emma who was still laughing uncontrollably "It is not funny you know" She scowled "Why are you still laughing?" This time around she said with tears in her eyes. When Emma saw this she stopped laughing and apologized.

"Alright, please can we go back to the movie now?" Rose asked after Elisa was finally stable enough. "Are you guys been serious right now? I told you Trevor broke up with me and you still want to watch a stupid movie, is that movie more important than me?" As soon as Elisa noticed she was not the center of attention again she shouted at the top of her lungs, forcing Rose to slam the remote in her hands on the coffee table.

"What's the big deal? so he broke up with you, you are not the first girl he's broken up with and just because you are not the one to call it off this time, doesn't mean that's the end of the world. After all, before the week runs out, you will already be in another guy's arms" Rose was furious as she said all this to Elisa in one breath. "Now you even made me lose interest in the movie" Rose stood up like a queen not caring about the anger she saw in Elisa's eyes 'humph, that's what she gets for making me miss that adorable gene the kiddo has'

"Rose! how dare you!" Elisa exclaimed after noticing Rose had no plans of apologizing for what she said to her. Rose just shrugged it off as she replied calmly "it is not like I said anything wrong" she went into the kitchen after this and got herself a drink. When she got back she noticed 'madam give me all your attention" Elisa was still fuming. She opened her mouth to apologize when she suddenly stopped herself. The person that needs to apologize should be Elisa not her, if she hadn't barged in, in the first place she wouldn't have missed the rerun of 'The dragon's magic' now she had to wait for another week before she could watch it as the movie was not up for downloads yet.

Annabelle tried breaking the awkwardness when she noticed the two proud peacocks had no plans of apologizing to each other. In the next moment she spoke though, she regretted her actions "What did you just say, Anna? I want to be sure I heard you properly" There was sarcasm laid in the voice as Elisa spoke but Annabelle didn't read much to it. As she planned on repeating herself, she heard Elisa say in an annoyed tone "You have never known love in your whole life, so how about you pocket your advice"

Elisa could understand Rose being mad at her but she couldn't withstand Annabelle's lecture, 'what is her business with my life anyway? like she is my mother' even if she needed advice, she had rather take it from someone that has an existent love life.

Emma tried to remedy the situation when she noticed that things have gotten out of hand, she was about to continue speaking when they heard Annabelle ask in a cold voice "so just because I care about you to advise you, I deserve to be insulted?"

"You dump different guys every day for no reason at all and lie to them, but you still think you are better than me?" "maybe you are right, maybe I'm not capable of love but that doesn't mean you are better" "Honestly, I'm glad Trevor dumped you, maybe that way, you will learn that the world doesn't revolve around you" She turned to Emma and Rose "I'm sorry but I have to go"

They stared at her with lots of fleeting emotions before Rose finally tried to stop her "A, please wait, let's just settle this, Elisa didn't mean what she said she was just transferring her aggression to you" Annabelle smiled bitterly before she replied with a laugh "We both know that is not the truth and you don't have to cover up for her" she gave Elisa a pointed look before she grabbed her coat that she had left on the hanger before when she first came to Rose's apartment earlier that day. In her word 'I can't be the only one to enjoy the adorable kids in this movie, their cuteness could kill and if you don't want to be responsible for me missing it you'd better get here on time.

After Annabelle was gone Rose and Emma exchanged looks while shaking their heads in disappointment at the same time. "Whew, finally she is gone, I can take a breath of fresh air now" Elisa stated not registering the shock on Rose's and Emma's faces.

"That wasn't cool Liz, what you said to her was way over the line. She was only looking out for you, you know" This time it was Emma who broke the silence. "Yeah, E, you should apologize to Annabelle, what you said to her was hurtful" Rose chimed in.

Elisa sneered hearing this, "So you both are on her side, what right does she have to advise me? she thinks she's my friend just because she hangs out with us as if I would be so dump as to allow someone as classless as her give me any advice"

"Alright, that is it, I was been nice earlier when I said what I said, you are a self-obsessed person with a dark soul who doesn't see the good in others no matter how hard they may be trying to help you" Rose was very angry and decided to shout at Elisa, even Emma maybe because she felt it was true didn't bother with any remediation this time around as if silently agreeing. Elisa noticed that her two best friends were mad at her but she couldn't be bothered, standing up to leave. She turned back and gave them both pointed looks. "You two are no better off than I am, probably you may have forgotten who your real friend is but I have not, maybe next time before you say anything think about that first"

Rose gave a bone-chilling laugh before she replied "You had better be careful with the way you throw words around, whose fault exactly is it that Trevor broke up with you if I remember correctly, the same A, that is suddenly classless warned you back then when you started dating him.
