108 ADOPT ME
The next day during lunch, Liu Yang asked Wan Li to eat with her. She wanted to talk to him about the 'thing' that Li Jun told her but hesitated. She did not know if she had the right to open up about the topic so, she prefers not to.
A month had passed and it's already the 2nd day of July. It's summer but today the sky is unexpectedly gloomy. Luckily it's Sunday and Liu Yang is now lazying on her couch watching some random show on TV and is still, in her pajamas. She felt bored and wanted to do something useful but is lazy to do so. She could not bring to ask her friends because they might be busy as well.
"Ahhh! What to do, Muse?" she said while caressing the cat's fur. She laid on the couch when the doorbell rang. She frowned and grumpily walked towards the door.
As she turned the knob, Liu Yang saw a well-dressed man standing in front of her door. Since she's at home, she did not wear her glasses so, she had to narrow her eyes to see clearly.
"Good morning," the man said with a smile.
Liu Yang's eyes dilated and immediately shut the door. She leaned on the door while grabbing her hair. "What is he doing here so early in the morning?!"
Then, she remembered that she's still wearing pajamas. Her face grimaced and her hands balled into fists. Liu Yang instantly ran towards her room.

Guan is quietly sleeping on his bed when a piercing ring woke him. He hissed and furiously took his phone on the bedside. He had been exhausted for the past days and did not have any proper rest. They had been preparing for the occasion on Friday.
"Mother," he said in a raspy voice.
"What? Why?"
"Okay. I will."
"Fuck!" he silently cursed as he hung up the call.
Guan decided to take a shower and went to Liu Yang's apartment. What he did not expect was when the woman slammed the door right in front of his face.
He blinked several times, thinking about what mistakes he did to make her act like that. Pondering about it, he realized that he had not contacted her for a month. What kind of boyfriend was he? He had to explain things to her.
He was about to press the button again when the door opened. Liu Yang's fresh came in sight; far from the woman a while ago who had messy hair and was still in her pajamas.
Liu Yang beamed at him. "What are you doing here? It's so early in the morning."
Guan glance at his watch. "But it's already 9 o'clock?"
"Oh. Is that so?" she gave a fake smile.
"Aren't you going to invite me in?"
Liu Yang pulled the door wide open, indicating for him to enter.
As Guan removed his shoes and changed into slippers, he noticed that the color is too feminine, though his feet fit on them.
"Are these yours?"
She glanced at his feet and laughed. "They're Wan Li's, my feet are too small."
He peered down at her rack with the other three slippers. He wanted those but the sizes were not just right. Liu Yang noticed this and could not help but giggle.
"The black is Jun's, white for Mie, and that brown is for Su Bin," she explained. "Come inside, have a seat. Don't just dawdle over those slippers." She could not help but shook her head.
"The hell! Even Su Bin has some while the boyfriend does not? Barbaric!" he furiously whispered.
Entering the living room, Guan noticed a shelf full of books standing in the corner. As expected of an editor.
'Neat.' He thought to himself.
He took a seat on the couch while glancing around and saw her in the kitchen preparing something when he felt something soft and hairy. Glancing down, he saw a cat curling into a ball next to his feet. He could not help but smile, pick it up and put it on his lap.
"Hello, little guy," he greeted.
"You've met her. Her name is Muse," Liu Yang announced with a tray of snack on her hand and took a seat.
Raising his head, he saw her casually sipping a cup of coffee. "You…haven't had any breakfast?"
Liu Yang innocently looked at him and shook her head. "Nope. This is my second cup. Here, have some."
Guan just sighed in resignation. "Where did you bought her?"
"Bought? She's a stray cat I saw on the street. So, I decided to adopt her."
"How about me?"
"Huh?" Liu Yang got confused.
"When will you adopt me?"
