In another restaurant.

Li Jun, together with his co-workers entered a Japanese restaurant. Their boss decided to treat them to dinner after a hard day's work.

They were strolling down to their designated room when Li Jun saw a familiar figure walking hand in hand with a man. He narrowed his eyes and slowed down his tracks. Wan Li? He could not be wrong, it was really him! Li Jun decided to follow them secretly.

"Manman, tell everyone I'm going to the toilet for a second," he tapped the shoulder of his secretary who puzzled.

She answered, "But Assistant Director, I heard all of the private rooms in here already have…"

"I'm going for a smoke, then," he interrupted. "Anyway, call me if you need me or if the food arrived." Then, he moved his way and followed Wan Li into the restaurant.

Manman frowned. "But the exit is this way." She just shook her head in resignation. Sometimes she really does not understand her superior's thinking.

Meanwhile, Li Jun hastened his footsteps across the long hallway with a series of rooms. "Where the fuck are they?" he muttered to himself.

Then, he saw the familiar figures in front of a door. They seemed to be talking to some lady and considering the clothes she's wearing, she's a staff of the restaurant.

Li Jun could not see both of their faces because the man 'Wan Li' is with is too tall and is blocking the view. He is sure that he is Caucasian, though.

The Caucasian man shifted and that made a clearer view for Li Jun. his eyes went wide and he immediately hid behind the tall plant. Good thing he had a petite body enough for him not be seen. He poked his head a little and saw them already entering the room.

Shocked, Li Jun put his hand on his mouth and just stood for he didn't know how long not until his secretary, Manman, waved her hand on his face.

He jolted back to reality and snapped at his secretary. "What?!"

"T...the food is ready and they are all waiting for you including boss." Manman stuttered.

"Oh. Let's go then." Li Jun put his hand on her shoulders and went to their private room.

His mind is still full of images of Wan Li and James together with their hands entwined. Are they a couple? How come? Is it because of that dare?

Li Jun raised his brow. He knows what to do to this juicy piece of news.

Liu Yang is happily munching the broccoli on her plate when she saw how Guan Ning's plate.

"You are not going to eat those?"

Guan peered at her then continue cutting his steak. "What these broccoli? No."

"Give it to me, then."

"Sure."

Guan watched at the way she happily ate the broccoli so he gave him all the vegetables on his plate. He paused with what he is doing and watched the way she eats with a smile. "Where did you learn table manners?"

"Hmm?" Liu Yang put down the cutleries and wiped her mouth with a cloth. She swallowed the food before answering, "When we were in high school, Mei urged her parents for us to learn with her about table etiquette or else she would stay in her room and would not eat her whole life. Therefore, without much choice left, her parents had to enroll the three of us."

He smiled at her story. "She is quite rebellious."

Liu Yang reached the glass of wine but this time only took a sip. "She really is. Just look at her now, a pediatric doctor at a public hospital and ignoring her parents' wishes." She said after drinking.

"By the way, what is the cause of the conflict between your families? It seems serious." She asked out of curiosity.

Guan shook his head. "I don't have any idea either not even my brother. Father just told me that they are an enemy. I think it started with our grandparents but I don't pay any attention to it."

"Is that why you accepted Mei's relationship with Su Bin so easily?"

He took a bite before answering, "Maybe."

Liu Yang smiled. "Thank you."

"For what?"

"For accepting Mei. She's like a sister to me. I'm happy if she's happy."

"Don't you know that she said the same thing when I asked her to go on a blind date with you?" he chuckled. "Amazing!"

"Whatever!" Liu Yang rolled her eyes and continued eating.
