101 DID NOT MEAN TO BE INSENSITIVE

Guan had been waiting inside his car for almost an hour, waiting for Liu Yang to emerge at the entrance of the building. He had sent her a text for like minutes ago but did not even receive a reply.

He tapped his index finger on the steering wheel when he decided to go out of his car and called her number instead. After hanging up, a familiar called out to him from behind.

"Guan."

He turned his back to face Guan Qing. "Ge," he plainly greeted back.

"Waiting for someone?"

Guan smiled faintly and nodded. "Waiting for Min Chu?"

"Yup." He reciprocated a smile and took his phone out of his pocket. He gestured at Guan that he is going to make a call. As the latter nodded, he went back beside his car.

His fingers twitched as his eyes darted at the entrance of the publishing but his mind is now wandering. He felt a sudden pain inside his chest and it's kind of suffocating.

As his thoughts were drifting, he did not notice the woman who is hurriedly walking towards his direction.

Liu Yang immediately ran towards the entrance, pushing her petite body out of the throngs of people. As she got out, her eyes surveyed for a familiar luxurious car and bingo! He spotted him from afar leaning on his car with his hands on his pockets, looking her way.

She did not know if she should smile or wave her hand at him. She turned back to the publishing and saw a bunch of people coming out. She hesitated before hastening her steps towards Guan.

As Liu Yang stood in front of him, she noticed his black eyes are staring blankly at her full of sorrow.

"Hey," she softly called out his name and had the courage to reach her hand out to him.

Guan felt something soft and smooth tugged his hand that jolted him back to reality. He blinked several times and stared at Liu Yang, then smiled.

"You're here. Let's go," he pulled her hand and opened the door to the passenger's seat.

Not far away, Min Chu was walking towards her husband's Rolls Royce when she saw two familiar figures getting inside of a car. She narrowed her eyes to make sure she is seeing things right.

'Guan? And Miss Liu? Together?' She halted from her steps and tilted her head. But how? And when? Min Chu continued strolling towards Guan Qing with her head full of thoughts. As she entered the car, Guan Qing is leaning his head on the headrest with his eyes closed.

She felt pity towards her husband because she knows how busy he is and he still makes time to fetch her up from work. She took his hand and intertwined it with hers.

"Let's go to the old house," she ordered the chauffeur.

As the car slowly moved, Guan Qing opened his eyes and was stunned to see Min Chu beside him. She smiled at him and ordered him to sleep more by putting his head on her shoulders.

"I'm sorry," Guan uttered with his eyes closed.

"For what?"

"I slept."

Min Chu laughed at his clinginess. Everyone would be shocked if they knew how clingy this handsome CEO would be.

"Have you seen Guan?"

"Hmm. He's with a woman. It's one of our editors."

Guan Qing sat up straight and faced her. "Really? Were you jealous?"

She frowned. This old news again. "Jealous? Why would I be?" she rolled her eyes at him and scooted over to the corner of the seat. She propped her arm on the window and admired the view outside.

Looking at sulking figure, Guan Qing felt guilty and mad at himself. The truth is, he is the one who is jealous, again. It's his brother for Christ sake! And they are already married, Guan is also dating someone right now but…he could not help it.

Taking all his courage, he went to her side and hugged her waist nestling his head on the crook of her neck.

"I'm sorry, okay?"

Min Chu twisted her body and hugged him back. "Stop being jealous of your brother. He gave up a long time ago and I won't leave you. I love you, okay?" she consoled while patting his back.

"I love you, too," he tightened his grip on her as if she's going to run anytime soon.

'Why is he unconfident of himself?' Min Chu thought.

"The baby, you're squeezing it."

Guan Qing immediately loosened his grip on her. "Oh. Are you alright?" he caressed her abdomen thoughtfully.

She just nodded with a smile then put a peck on his lips. Guan Qing felt delighted so, he pulled her closer and deepened the kiss.
