91 I’LL ACCEPT I

Liu Yang could not help but scoff. What, forget about someone? "Forgetting about someone is impossible. Especially if that person is already deep down into you, no matter how good or bad the memories you shared together." She said this while staring straight into his eyes.

Guan was somehow amazed by her, again and again. This woman in front of him is full of surprises and he wanted to unravel those surprises more.

"Then let me rephrase it for you…" he stared back at her. The way their eyes stared at each carried hidden emotions that the both of them couldn't comprehend.

He continued, "…go out with me and make me fall in love with you." Guan felt goosebumps all over. To date, this is probably the most embarrassing thing he ever said to anyone before – not even to Min Chu.

The woman in front of him giggled. If she told this to Su Bin, he'll be a laughing stock and his reputation will be ruined.

"Didn't know that someone of your status could be this…cheesy. Why don't you give me a reason to say 'yes' to that proposal of yours. Since you're so eager to go out with me…convince me then," she challengingly said with her arms on her chest.

'Is this woman challenging me? How dare she?'

Guan chuckled. "As the future CEO of Yinyang, can't you see the benefits of being my woman? Almost all of the women out there are willing to give their bodies to me so, why can't you?"

"Then why didn't pick those 'almost all of women' to be with you here tonight? I'm not willing to be with you," Liu Yang retorted.

*cough* Guan started coughing all of a sudden and frowned. "What? Not willing to be with me?! Come on, admit it, you have a crush on me."

Liu yang looked at him with no expression. As someone who is not used to beat around the bush, she told him the truth. "Fine, I admit I do have a crush on you. But that's it, nothing more."

"It's more than enough."

"No, it's not. I can't…"

"Why?" Guan interjected in between her sentence.

Liu Yang put her hands down and balled it into a tight fist as she looked down.

"What are you afraid of?" she heard him say.

"None of your business." She smiled at him, a genuine smile. "Anyway, why are you trying to forget this someone?"

"She's already married," Guan simply answered.

Liu Yang's widened. "You're in love with a married woman?! Hahaha!"

"Stop laughing at my misfortune. She's already happy, I have let her go."

Her face turned serious when she saw how serious and disheartened he was. "Ahem, I'm sorry." She felt pity for him and she doesn't even understand why. Out of impulse, she said something that shocked the both of them.

"Alright, I'll accept it," she did not know why she said that all of a sudden but it's too late to turn back now. Liu Yang braced herself for this life-changing decision she made tonight.

In front of her, Guan was dumbfounded when he heard it. He tried everything to persuade this woman, what changed her mind?

"You sure about that?"

Liu Yang just nodded without a word.

"You won't regret your decision."
