90 PROPOSAL

Looking at her burning cheeks, Guan chuckled and decided to tease her even more.

"I don't have that power, yet," he tried to put on a serious as he said this.

Yet?! Liu Yang went pale hearing this. So in the future, if…

Guan couldn't help it and laugh hard. This woman…is just easy to tease.

Liu Yang pouted when she realized she'd been fooled by him. She ignored him who is still laughing and turned her on the table full of different dishes. She noticed that all of the food are her favorite but brushed it off her mind and continued munching food.

Just watching her seriously eating, Guan's face softened and his laughter halted. He picked some spring rolls and put it on her bowl. Liu Yang paused for a second and looked up at him, her mouth full of food. Even though he could see that she has some table etiquette, the way she shoves the food on her mouth is just…too much.

He is silently laughing at her. She is such a foodie. Guan thought: 'If she accepts his proposal, will he forget about Min Chu?'

"As you can see, these are all your favorites. I asked Yu Mei about it," he blurted.

She almost choked after hearing what he said. Liu Yang immediately chewed on her food, drink a glass of water and thanked him sincerely.

Guan chuckled then added, "I'm so thoughtful, am I not?"

Liu Yang's brow raised involuntarily – this guy really is conceited. She just forced a smile and continued on eating. She's famished right now and talking might ruin her appetite. Guan, on the other hand, started putting dishes on to his bowl and dig in.

After eating, Liu Yang dabbed her lips with the table napkin. She pursed her lips, hesitating to ask the question that has been etching on her mind. Guan noticed this and urged her to speak.

"What is it?"

"I've been wanting to ask you about this the moment I stepped in here." Liu Yang breathed in before she continued, "Why me? I mean, not to be pretentious but…why me?"

Guan did not answer her question immediately instead, he just continued to look at her blankly. After a while, he replied, "…because you are too plain and ordinary."

What?! Liu Yang went speechless with what he said. Her subconscious is now on the ground clutching her chest but the expression on her face remained blank. Her ego! Her poor, poor ego!

"So what if I'm plain and ordinary?"

"It only means that you're so hard to restrain. I don't want my woman to be a puppet."

Liu Yang smirked. "Your woman? Second Young Master this is our first date and I can't guarantee you that I'll be seeing you in the future."

'Oh, she's really tough, huh.' Guan smiled at this thought. "Please, just Guan. And weren't you swayed by all of this?" he waved his hands.

Liu Yang tilted her head and followed his swaying hands then smiled – a mocking smile. "Ahem, Guan, if that's what you really wanted me to call you, I'm not made of stone. Any girl could be swayed by all of this and I'm not an exception but…that does not mean I'll accept you. You still don't know me yet."

Guan propped his elbow on the table. This conversation really turns him on. "Sweetie, that's the point of dating, getting to know each other. How can you know it if won't try? Please, hear my proposal out."

Sweetie? Liu Yang's heart skipped a beat hearing this from him. Her eyes blinked several times, coughed a little, and then frown.

"What proposal?"

"Help me forget about someone, completely."
