86 MAKE-OVER 2

Feeling heavy all over and thirsty, Liu Yang had no choice but to open her eyes. She sat up, her hair – messy. Her eyes darted outside the open door of the balcony and saw that the sun is already high up in the sky.

She groggily got out of the bed and staggered towards the door. The moment she pushed the door open, the messy living room and the busy Wan Li and Li Jun greeted her. She frowned and yawned at the same time.

"What are you two doing here? You made my house a mess."

Instead of answering her, Li Jun pulled by the arm, settled her on the couch and sized her face up. Her frown deepened at the way he's acting. On the other side, her eyes widened as she saw Wan Li choosing different blazers.

"Hey! Those are mine!" Liu Yang helplessly whined.

"And so?" Wan Li retorted without turning back.

"Did Mei told you to do this?" her eyes shifted between the two. They were always like this whenever she goes out on a date, they seem to be overreacting.

"Nope." The two replied at the same time.

"It's been so long since you've been on a date. You better dress-up and look beautiful. You never really know," Li Jun commented while choosing the right shade on his make-up palette.

Liu Yang rolled her eyes and scratched her head. "Know what? I just want to give Yu Mei a favor, you don't have to be this extra."

"Girl, whatever. Here, eat your lunch it's already past 1 in the afternoon," Wan Li came over and gave her a bento box.

"You really don't have to trouble yourselves for this. You're all overreacting."

"Shut up. Just eat then take a shower afterward." Wan Li reprimanded.

Liu Yang shuts her mouth and ate her lunch silently. The truth is, she really wanted to stood this date up and just sleep all through the night. But this two...

After eating, the two urged and pushed her lazy body to take a shower, saying that they don't have much time.

To agitate them even more, she purposely took her time inside and only got out after one and a half hours.

As she stepped out of the shower with a towel over her body, Li Jun immediately berated her.

"Young lady, why on earth did it take you almost two hours in the shower?! My precious, remember that."

Liu Yang just rolled her eyes at him. "Whatever. Please get out, I gotta change," she said with a mocking smile.

Feeling a bit of conscience, this time she quickly changed and went towards the sofa where Wan Li and Li Jun are waiting, impatiently.

The moment she sat her butt down the sofa, Li Jun immediately dabbed her face with a brush with Wan Li assisting him. She frowned as she didn't know what sort of chemicals they are putting on her face.

She is not really fond of using make-up. As a matter of fact, she didn't even know how to apply it to her. She only uses lipstick and some artificial blush, and that's it!

"Are you sure you're making it right? Can I see what I look like right now?" Liu Yang doubtfully asked the two who ignored her. It's been a while since they were putting different types of some sort of powder on her face.

"Ta-da!" Li Jun suddenly exclaimed. He sniffed like he's about to cry and turned to Wan Li, his eyes glistening, "Li, we just made a masterpiece!"

The two of them hugged each other merrily.

"Can I see my terrible face now?"

Though she knew how skilled Li Jun is when it comes to make-up, she still just criticized him on purpose to tease him.

As Liu Yang looked herself on the mirror, she was stunned and speechless at what she saw. She never really knew that she could be this beautiful.

It was just simple and is not heavy which complemented to her face greatly.

"Yang, lipstick," Li Jun tapped her shoulder which snapped her out of her reverie.

After putting her lipstick on, Liu Yang turned to check herself in the mirror once again. It's a shade between pink and red that suits her. Hmm, coral? She really likes it.

"I kinda like it," she said with a genuine smile.

"Kinda? Girl, you look strikingly beautiful." Then, Wan Li passed her a yellow dress. "Here, wear this"
