83 WORRIED?
Yu Mei rolled her eyes once again. "Just eat, okay?"
"No, I…" Wan Li's words were interrupted by the ringing of his phone. "What?" he said in an irritated tone.
"Where are you? I'm coming over," Li Jun's voice can be heard on the phone.
Wan Li gave Li Jun the address, hung up then turn to the women in front of him. "What are we talking about?"
Liu Yang, who is looking unbothered by the way he reacted, continued eating quietly and ignored him. Then, they all heard the opened and saw Li Jun's thin figure walking in with a smile. He looked dashing in his emerald green coat and a shirt inside.
"What's the occasion?" he said as he took the seat next to Yu Mei.
"Yang's going on a blind date. Can you believe that?!"
After hearing what Wan Li had said, the three of them laughed at the same time in amusement. This made Wan Li somewhat annoyed and humiliated.
"Why am I the only one who is worried about this issue?" he said as he watched the three people laughing.
"Yeah. Why are you getting worked up about it? You're not the one who is going to that date, I am," Liu Yang said while wiping the corners of her eyes.
"Let's talk while eating. I'm famished!" Li Jun suggested. Yu Mei passed him a bowl of rice and immediately dug in.
"So Mei, do you know who this guy is?" Wan Li asked out of the blue.
"Sort of. I've met him once."
"Is he good-looking? Is he even trustworthy? How did he knew Yang?"
Liu Yang giggled upon hearing Wan Li's series of questions. "Bitch, I believe in Mei's judgment, there's no need to worry about. It's just a date."
"Hmm, it's been so long since you've been on a date. I think it's time for you to take it seriously this time. considering our age, you better find your life-partner," Li Jun commented.
Wan Li narrowed his eyes at Liu Yang and probes with doubt, "Are you even ready?"
Liu Yang rolled her eyes and waved her hands as three pairs of eyes were looking at her. "I don't know, we'll see. It's no big deal. And hey! Twenty-five is still considered young." She pouted. "Can we just…talk about other things, please?"
The three exchanged glances meaningfully and had a silent agreement.
"Tell me when are you going on that date, first," Yu Mei urged. She must get her answer today to stop Su Bin from irritating her every day.
Liu Yang bit her nails, thinking about her upcoming schedules for next week. "It's only Tuesday today and my schedule's kind of tight. How about this Saturday?"
"Sure!" Yu Mei gladly nodded her head like a rattle.
After having their lunch, the four of them exited the restaurant separated their ways. Yu Mei drove to her apartment and took a shower, preparing to go to work. Going out, she suddenly remembered that Liu Yang already gave her a 'go signal' about the blind date. She took her phone out and immediately texted Su Bin about it then headed to the hospital in a jovial mood.
