Resounding applause roared inside the conference room.

Niu Yizhang nodded at Guan Ning, signaling him to stand up. The latter rose from his seat and went to his father's side.

He bowed and said with a faint smile, "Good morning to each and everyone, I am Niu Guan Ning, the second son of the Niu family. Please take care of me in the future." He scanned the room filled with people, and saw, mostly, doubt written on their faces that made him scoff inwardly.

In between his observations, he heard his father said, "The second, is that I will be retiring as the chairman of the company."

Gasps and murmurs could be heard heard after Niu Yizhang's statement. Guan Ning remained unfazed on the side and remained his stony face on.

His father continued, "My shares will of course, be handed down legally to my sons. Lastly, I would like everyone to introduce your new Chairman, Guan Qing." Another gasps were heard as Guan Qing rose from his seat and faced everybody.

In between the noise, a voice could be heard. "I object!"

The murmurs quieted down and all of them looked at the direction of the voice. It was Xia Jiyao, one of the shareholders and is only a year younger than Guan Qing. He's been eyeing the CEO position all this time and was enraged as he found out about Niu Yizhang's decision.

Xia Jiyao stood up. "Mr. Niu, you did a rather impulsive decision in appointing the position of CEO…and as I said, I object to it. I also don't trust him. He doesn't have any idea about real business."

Guan Ning smirked at his remarks. No idea? Just you see after three months, I will make your life a living hell, he thought.

Niu Yizhang's eyes, as well as Guan Qing's, dimmed. They both knew Xia Jiyao's intentions in the company.

"I have the final say when it comes to the matters in the company." Those who are loyal to them, nodded in agreement while the others still had doubts.

The meeting ended in a not so good note. The four people went straight Guan Qing's office. As they sat down, Su Bin poured them some tea. The atmosphere inside is a bit stuffy and tense.

"Guan, I may be the new chairman of the company but you will still handle almost all of the matters in the company. Be careful of Xia Jiyao in the future. He's a scheming man, ambitious, and has long been vying the position of the CEO." Guan Qing warned after taking a sip of the tea.

Xia Jiyao. Guan Ning and Su Bin looked at each and had an unspeakable understanding. Competing against him isn't that easy. No idea in real business? Guan Ning almost laughed loudly at the thought. His parents and brother may not be aware of it but he has some business ventures in New York, and Su Bin is his partner. Though it may not be as big as Yinyang Enterprise, but its success is still comparable to the latter.

Niu Yizhang cleared his throat and puts down his cup of tea on the table. "If it wasn't for his father, I would've kicked him out of the company a long time ago. His father is a good and honorable man." He sighed in disappointment.

"Don't worry Father, I'll do the best I can to keep the company in good shape." Even though Guan Ning is always angry at his father every time they met, miraculously today, he spoke in a calm and soft tone towards him.

Niu Yizhang's eyes glimmered in joy but hid it immediately and nodded in satisfaction.

It was almost luncheon when Su Bin and Guan Ning stepped out of Yinyang Enterprise. Niu Yizhang immediately head straight home due to his health conditions while Guan Qing went to a meeting.

The two of them decided to eat out. As they were waiting for their food to come, Guan Ning took his phone out of his pocket and dialed a very familiar number.
