55 THE NIGHT IS STILL YOUNG

As they went outside, hot night breeze greeted them. Since it's the middle of April, summer is still blazing. Yu Mei fished her cell out of her pocket and called her chauffeur.

"Uncle Lin? Where are you? We're outside the bar. Yup. We'll be waiting." She ended the call and faced them from behind. "We're going to use my car."

"Are we going to fit? The five of us?" full of doubts, Li Jun asked.

Yu Mei rolled her eyes. "We can always find ways."

Soon after, a BMW stopped in front of them. A man in his 40's alighted and greeted Yu Mei. "Young Miss."

"Uncle Lin!" the old man got startled and immediately looked up. He saw three figures running towards him.

Wan Li: "We miss you so much!"

Liu Yang: "Uncle, long time no see."

Li Jun: *smiling*

The old man felt glad seeing them all together once again. He watched their friendship grow since middle school until all of them became professionals. But Uncle Lin frowned as he inhaled a strong whiff of alcohol from them.

"Uhh, you've had too much to drink. Are you okay?" his voice full of worry and looked at Yu Mei.

The latter smiled. "We're okay. We're planning to have some karaoke. Let's go to the usual spot. James, you take the front seat." After saying that, she immediately entered the car.

All of them followed her. As they were inside, Uncle Lin gave a questioning look to the people at the back. Probably, he's asking the English man in the front seat.

"Ahh, Uncle, he's our new friend, James. James, Uncle Lin." Yu Mei introduced them to each other.

"Hi, nice to meet you," James said. Uncle Lin only answered with a smile.

Soon after, the car fled the place. It only took 15 minutes for them to arrive at the said place. As they stepped out of the car, they saw a narrow and dim alley.

"Mei, are you sure about this?" scared to death, Li Jun asked while tightly hugging Wan Li's arm.

Yu Mei giggled at him. "Don't worry, Su Bin and I frequently came here when we wanted to have some fun. It's private and the service is good. Uncle, I'll call later."

"Yes, Young Miss," Uncle Lin said with a bow.

As they were having their conversation, they didn't know that the three people beside Yu Mei have odd looks on their faces.

"What?" Yu Mei asked as she turned to face them.

"Eh?! Uncle knows!!!" the three of them exclaimed at the same time leaving James in the dark and confused, not knowing what they're saying.

Yu Mei let out a fake laugh and nodded. "It's a long story. Let's go." She immediately turned her back and led them into the alley.

Though at first sight, the alley looks sinister and haunted, but at the end of it, bars and entertainment stores are located in the remote place. Yu Mei led them to a building named 'The Untamed'.

"Welcome, Miss Yu. The usual?" they were greeted by a female staff who furrowed her brows upon seeing her company. Yu Mei just nodded and the staff led them into a private room.

All of them settled into the couch. Liu Yang, who is a music enthusiast immediately and looked for her favorite song and is already bickering with Li Jun who will sing first while Yu Mei is talking to a staff about their foods and drinks. On the other hand, Wan Li and James were still chatting to themselves, ignoring the others.

It's already past midnight. The night has just begun, and in a secluded part of the city, car noises can be heard. Two luxurious cars arrived and two men stepped out. The other is handsome that carries an arrogant aura, but when he smiled at the crowd, all the girls almost drooled their mouths dry, while the other is innocently handsome that girls wanted to dote on him so much.

Two women approached them bravely and cling onto each of them. Su Bin immediately distanced himself and said 'Sorry' that made the woman disappointed. His action made Guan Ning's brow raised, his mood lifting up a little after hugging the woman beside him.

"What the hell was that? Trying to walk on a new path, eh?" he said while chuckling. Su Bin glared at him icily and didn't answer his mocking.

"Young Master, Su Bin, glad that you're already here." The man in baggy clothes greeted them. The two nodded at him.

"Where is he? You got a name?" Guan Ning asked while looking at the red sports car with suspicion. Somehow, the car looks familiar to him.

"Unfortunately, no. He's been in his car for the whole time," the man answered.

"What about the bet?" this time Su Bin spoke with a wad of cash in his hands.

The man retreated and knocked into the window of the car. As the window rolled a little bit without revealing the identity of the driver. He whispered something and nodded, after a few minutes of talking, he walked his way back to where Su Bin and Guan Ning was.

Stuttering, he said, "Young Master, he said, if he wins…you have to…leave that woman beside you…and grant his wishes but if you win…he said…you…he…he said he'll be yours." He really couldn't understand the intention of this mysterious man.

Guan Ning got stunned for a moment but regained from his senses immediately. He smirked and looked at the tinted windows.

"Impossible," he whispered. His eyes are full of amusement and excitement.
