16 Dying to kiss me

The next day Cheng Ze picked her up from her hotel. He took all her belongings and put them in his car. "From now on until you leave we will be together." He smiled as he said that and looked at Ji An.

Ji An is not sure about this but since it will be the last time she can be with him, she allowed it. 'Nothing is going to happen right?!' in her mind. She then smiled back to Cheng Ze. "So where are we going?"

"I have an apartment for us to live in while you are here. We will stay together and I'll take you to the airport on Saturday. That is of course if I couldn't change your mind." Cheng Ze continued driving.

"You know the possibility of us ending up together is close to zero. Why are you being like this? You are just making it hard for yourself."

"As you said, close to zero not completely zero" he gave her a warm smile. "I'm not going to work this week. I'll spend all this week with you."

They arrived at the villa. Cheng Ze bought this villa when he wants to relax and be far from his dad. They will be living here until Saturday.

"Aren't we suppose to be staying in an apartment?"

They got of his car and walked to the door of the villa.

While walking Cheng Ze replied to Ji An's question.

"If I told you it's a villa you will not come with me. I really don't want to argue with you. I want to have a peaceful and serene time with you. No fighting no arguing. Just simply knowing more about each other and filling the lost time between us." As he said that they reached the door and put Ji An gently against the door.

They stared at each others eyes. Like their eyes are doing the talking. Cheng Ze lower his gaze to her pink lips. He move closer and whispered something in Ji An's ear.

"I know you want me to kiss you, but your mouth will say no. I had promised you that I wont do it. So even if you are dying to kiss me, it's not going to happened." he teased Ji An.

Ji An blushed, her cheeks warmed up. She pushed him gently and told him to just open the door so they can organise things and have some food. She knew he is teasing her. She likes it but she is suppressing her feelings.

As they got inside, the living space is too big for the two of them. Cheng Ze carried her luggage to their bedroom. Ji An went to see the kitchen. Its a big kitchen. It is filled with top quality kitchen appliances and utensils. It felt like they are newly wed moving to their new home.

Cheng Ze gave her a back hug. "Do you like it? It's bigger than the one you have years ago. We have all the stuff for cooking so we don't have to leave the house."

"Cheng Ze...." there is something she wants to say but what came out from her mouth is completely different from whats in her mind.

"Hhhmmmm" he replied.

"I'm hungry. I didn't have breakfast." She is indeed hungry.

Cheng Ze laughed "okay, I'll cook food for you. You just rest or maybe you want to check our room."

'Our room?' "Okay I'll go and have a look. Ji An left him in the kitchen.

She went up the stairs and she saw at least four doors. She open the furthest one at the other end. It's empty. She open the door at the left. Another empty room. She's thinking this door on the right must be her room. She opened it and it is a big family bathroom. She walked to opened the last door and she saw a super king sized bed a large sliding door that is open as the breeze is blowing the curtain. It has a balcony with a set of morning table and a pair of chairs. A large mounted TV. A dressing table, a sofa and another door near the TV. She went in and saw a walk in wardrobe followed by the bathtub at the left and shower in the middle with a glass wall. The toilet is near the corner followed by a twin sink at the right.

"Am I here to stay for my whole life? I'm only here until Saturday. What is he thinking?" She murmured.

"I will love it if you stay here for your whole life or even the next I don't mind at all." Cheng Ze spoke behind her.

He startled Ji An. "Why are you here? Aren't you supposed to be cooking."

"I want to know your preference. What do you want to eat?" He asked.

"I don't mind just cook whatever. Its fine!" And she walked back to where the bed is. I'll have a little rest I'm feeling a bit tired. I'm sorry if cant help you in the kicthen."

Cheng Ze helped her to bed "I'll wake you up when food is ready."

If she didn't get pregnant maybe there is nothing to worry. She will enjoy all this and maybe she will accept his heart. But right now things are different. She cant let him take responsibility and for sure he will look at her in a different way once he finds out she's having a child not from him but from a different man. She gradually fallen asleep.

"Ji An wake up." With a little tap on her cheeks. "Ji An food is ready we should eat before it gets cold."

Ji An let out a sweet smile. "Okay, let's go."

At the dining table they are sitting next to each other. Not one of them is talking so it feels a little bit awkward. Ji An smell some onions from the food and she immediately run to the sink in the toilet downstairs next to the kitchen.

Cheng Ze followed her and knock on the door. "Are you okay? You haven't tried the food yet and you got sick already. I'm not that bad of a cook." He's just trying to make her feel better.

Ji An open the door "I'm okay. Its probably because.."

Cheng Ze worriedly said "Should we go to the hospital and get you checked out by the doctor?"

"No no no I promise I'm okay. We should eat before the food get spoiled."

Back at the dining table the smell of onions are coming from all the food he cooked.

"Uhm Cheng Ze does all of them have onions?" She asked.

"Well, yes. You love them right? At least I remember that." He replied.

It's making her feel sick again. "I think I'll just rest for now. I don't really have much of an appetite. And uhm.. next time you cook can you not cook food with onions. I'm not into it lately. I'm sorry, you cooked for me and I cannot even eat it."

"You said you were hungry. I'll get you food from the shop. I'll get you fish, you like them as well. What else do you want?"

"Cheng Ze don't cook fish don't buy them please. I cannot stand the smell of it. Just get me some salad or some sweet and sour pork no onions. Thank you." She hurriedly went to the bedroom and left Cheng Ze confused.

'What's with her? Has she changed her favourites? Do I have to work extra hard to know her again?' He thought. He then left to buy her food.

When he got back. He cleared the table and serve the food he bought. He went to wake her up again.

"Ji An let's eat. I got the food you asked. I'm sorry I took long."

She woke up and followed Cheng Ze to the table. While eating Cheng Ze started to ask random questions.

Cheng Ze: "So how is England?"

Ji An: "Its good. Cold but nice."

Cheng Ze: "Can I visit you? Hows Mai Ke?"

Ji An: "Uhm.. He left our house after his 18th birthday. How are you the heir of Tangxin?"

Cheng Ze: "When my mother got into an accident, my father found me. He took me back to his home."

Ji An: "You knew he was your dad straight away?"

Cheng Ze: "Of course. My mum and I moved out when my mother found out that my dad was looking for a woman. Apparently the woman and my dad were in love long ago and my mother got in the way and accidentally had me so he was forced to marry my mum. It turns out that the woman is your mother. I was 7 when we left the house."

Ji An: "My father loved my mum so much. I don't know why they divorced. Lets not talk about that."

Later on that evening, they watched a film together in the living room. They watched The Passenger as Ji An is into this kind of movie. Cheng Ze kept bringing fruits for her as she watch.

Cheng Ze fell asleep on the couch. Shes not really hungry so she didn't wake him up. She got a blanket for him so he wont feel cold. She then went to bed and had a rest.
