13 Gu Residence

After Li Jie Fu's funeral, Alice stayed with Ji An to help her with everything. Now 3 months pregnant, Ji An decided to visit China to see her mum. She found a number in one of her dads books. It has her mothers name. She will call her once she arrive in Beijing.

Alice wants to go with her but Ji An wanted to do it on her own. But she promised Alice that she will come back as soon as possible to sort out her dads will.

Ji An's belly isn't big she doesn't look pregnant. She will decide wether she will tell her mum about her pregnancy depends on how her mother welcomes her.

Beijing China

Arriving at Beijing Capital International Airport, Ji An took the piece of paper and went on a phone booth. She dialled the number and waited for someone to answer.

"Hello." person on the other end.

"Hello. May I speak to Li Mei Li?" Ji An ask politely.

"Do you mean Madam Gu Mei Li?"

"Yes. I need to speak to her about a very important matter." Ji An told the person.

"Please stay on the call I will informed Madam. May I ask your name?"

"Li Ji An" she responded.

After few minutes Madam Gu excitedly answer Ji An's call.

"Ji An how are you? Where are you?" Gu Me Li.

"Mum, I'm at the airport. I just arrived. Can I see you?" Ji An.

Madam Gu gave the address of the Gu Family house to Ji An. She hail a taxi and went straight to the address her mum gave her.

Gu Residence

As Ji An got of the taxi, her mother is waiting for her outside the house with a big smile. After 5 years she get to see her daughter. And she can finally tell her that her name will be change to Gu as her husband allowed it.

They went inside the house and Madam Gu ask one of the servant to prepare a room for Ji An so she can rest. She also ask the other servant to prepare food for her.

"How are you? How is your dad? Where is your brother?" Madam Gu ask one after the other.

"Ma, dad.. he..." she couldn't finish as someone entered the living room.

"Who is our guest today mother?" Cheng Ze sarcastically interrupt them.

This made Ji An look at the person who barged in. The surprised on her face when she saw Cheng Ze. And the shock on Cheng Ze's face.

"What are you doing here?" Cheng Ze ask Ji An in a surprised tone.

"What did you call my mother?" Ji An shockingly ask. "What are you doing here? Isn't this is her husbands house?"

"Thats right! Her husbands house. I happened to be the only son of her husband. And you heard me, right?" Cheng Ze said.

"You cannot be her daughter because she is now my mother and I don't want a sister. Oh and you are not welcome here. Who let you in? Go back to where you came from!" He moved closer to Ji An to drag her out.

But before he could drag her out Ji An ask "Do you hate me?"

"Yes! And I don't like your mother. She is the reason my mother suffered."

"But I didn't do anything to you" Ji An exclaimed.

"Are you sure about that? Think carefully you might remember something or..... maybe it didn't mean anything to you." With a little pain in Cheng Ze's heart and eyes.
