59 Rewards
The unforeseen had occurred, something that he never thought would happen in this new lifetime. He was given a trophy which was of his last life. A life which was torn apart by the very trophy encompassed in carbonite.
Adorned behind the mantle of his bed, embedded within the wall, was a carbonite sealed female form dressed in what looked like linen robes. Stripped of all material belongings. To some it may look like a goddess, but her face was twisted into something akin to pain and agony.
This was Eva Markus, though in this reality she was ironically named Eva Katsure. There was no plack in which would tell anyone of the girl's identity. To anyone other than Maddie, Valad and Vaylin no one knew who this person was. This was how Valad wanted and needed it to be.
To most they would assume it was a carbonite sculpture. It's controls had been removed and even if the person within the carbonite was freed. Not only would they get the hibernation sickness, but they would also suffer severe mental and physical degeneration at an accelerated rate.
It was set up to the point that if anyone were to ever free her, she would likely die with or without any form of health treatments. Within this slab of carbonite she would remain forever if he had anything to do with it.
The reason for hanging this trophy above his bed? He wanted her to 'watch' over him. To 'see' what he has achieved, to 'see' what he does. She thought he was pathetic, she looked down on him. She was jealous of him being with her best friend, she destroyed his life.
He believed that he and Maddie were lovers once, and they could be so again. That was something he wanted her to 'see' come about once again.
Valad was seated on the bed looking at his inventory. Vaylin and Riané were sprawled out on the bed behind him, sleeping quietly. The invasion of the first planet within the Archipelago had come to a close and was now in his hands. The people were celebrating on the surface, welcoming the Imperial Federation.
There was no rush in this invasion. There was no need to as there was no active interaction between the other Star System. Tulpaa had been taken care of and their neighbor only competed over resources and technology.
With the massive ship cloaked over the planet, even if they could send scouts to check, all they'd find was debris and Tulpaa tribe scavenger ships collecting bits and pieces.
As he was looking through his inventory, he stared at the voucher. Was this the right time to summon the Princess? His eyes gazed over to Vaylin, and then his thoughts went back to Leia and Padmé. Was he collecting royalty?
He almost laughed at himself.
As he scrolled down to the Foundation Package however, he would look at its description since the last time he saw it. There wasn't description given when the quest was made, he could only guess what it meant.

These foundation packs were exactly what they were called. They were to help place a foundation for and empire and later expand it. With them together he could immediately expand his foundation and make something powerful. All he had to do was spread through the archipelago to gain more rewards.
These rewards allowed him to make a foundation for his army, navy and even his civilian and government forces. Assuming it was anything like his other function for factions, the government could be controlled by him remotely.
He liked the idea of that, but he would also assume that there would be people who would want to see their Emperor face to face. Something he somewhat dreaded as an introverted man, but he had to come up with a way to make this work.
First he knew he needed to open this packages and collect them. He did just that and they immediately unpacked into his inventory. Covering many open spaces. When he unpacked both of them at once, they all stacked if there was more than one of the same item.
His eyes wandered over towards the girls whom were sleeping upon the bed. A small smile forming over his lips as he tilted his head to the side. They had rather cute sleeping faces.
At the knock at the door, he looked over and the door quickly opened.
There she was, Maddie, standing there with her still corrupted eyes. Looking over the room which she was about to enter. Her eyes narrowed on the girls on his bed and almost scoffed.
Walking in she would stretch, cracking her ribs arms and shoulders. "So this is what you do in you free time? A threesome?" She teased, her eyes consuming him like chocolate, a predator ready to pounce.
Personally seeing a girl with horns and the ready-to-pounce expression on her face, was definitely something to fear. Getting an accidental 'horny' headbutt, didn't sound at all too appetizing.
She sat down on the bed and grasped at the comforter. Giving Eva a gander before looking over at Valad. "I'm surprised you didn't outright kill her," She said with a huff, she sounded somewhat relieved.
Valad looked at the girl before him, "I sensed your distress," was his only real response. He didn't outright kill her in front of Maddie, it wouldn't been sudden and the loss wasn't something he wanted her to feel.
If someone had formed a bond with their captor, Stockholm Syndrome, then it would cause detrimental damage to the mental state of the captive.
"Still, that's a fate worse than death. Forever hibernating, not having a single thought. Just darkness, and if or when she ever wakes up. She'll still only see darkness and pain," Her hands caressed the sheets as she sprawled out like a cat. Eying the other two girls who seemed to not respond to her presence.
She seemed to enjoy looking at their sleeping faces more than Valad. Which obviously made him rather awkward since she was outwardly showing it.
"Do you still love me?" Valad blurted out as he watched her, eye the girls.
The question made Maddie's heart skip a beat before brought her gaze upon him once again. A blank smile printed across her lips. "Of course I do, but it seems you no longer want a monogamous relationship," she smoked him.
Ever since she had known him, ever since she became involved with him, all he wanted was to have an exclusive one on one relationship with her. He even said he'd burn the world for her. Yet all he did in the end was go off and die, before he even hit the floor.
Valad seemed to be unaffected by her attempt to smoke him for his change of relationship choice, he was only interested in the answer to his question. He was smiling ear to ear, even though her tone was off, he knew she was telling the truth.
She still loved him, and things could be back on track.
"So why are you here, mister Emperor of the 'Imperial Federation,' instead of celebrating with your new subjects?" Maddie asked with a hum to her voice as she purred into the sheets. Licking her lips slightly, trying to coax him closer.
"Observing my rewards," Valad said with a small smirk across his lips as his tone seemed to be one of a confident one.
This suddenly made peak interest appear in her eyes as she watched him. She knew he didn't do anything for a reason. Just what was he doing? What were these rewards and where were they? Maddie began to think about the ship, the technology available. He looked about fifteen years old and he suddenly had all these things? It started to sound like he had something unnatural up his sleeve.
"And they are...?" Maddie stretched over and swatted at his thigh as he remained seated on the side of the bed. Her golden eyes glaring at his fingers as they grasped her hand. An expression of 'no fun' was written all over her face as her hand had been captured.
What was with this cat-like behavior?
"A Princess Strategist with a big heart... A Clone of a Jedi without any memories from the future, and Foundation packs." He listed the general idea of what his rewards were which made her purse her lips in response.
Maddie wiggled her fingers within his grasp and rolled over on the bed carefully. "Lemme guess, the Clone of a Jedi, is a girl?" The glance he gave her told her it was so. She could only chuckle a bit, "And where are these foundation packs and probable harem prospects?"
She was clearly wanting to be the Alpha, she was probably the most assertive person here.
"Oh... You're going to love this... Which one should I take out first? The Princess or the Jedi?"
His response wasn't something she calculated. What did he mean by take out? Was he going to kill someone? No, that didn't make sense. Did she have them in a pocket or box or something?
Her golden hues seemed to glow mysteriously, "Princess...?" Her horns dug softly into the sheets of the bed, her eyes shifting around the room.
"Alright, watch this..." Selecting the Voucher for Rinetta Gan and pressing the opening button. A ovular shape appeared in the room, pitch black with a silver shimmering outline. Personally it was beautiful to see, yet there was a slight ripple in the force surrounding it. Barely noticeable to the senses.
Suddenly a young girl, around the age of fifteen the same age as Maddie and roughly a year below Valad, she had clear ebony skin and brilliant hazel eyes. Her hair was braided into long cornrows and at shoulder length. However once she came through the portal, she collapsed to the ground in an exhausted state.
Maddie watched the scene wide eyed, like a cat which had seen a feathered stick toy. "Isn't that the Princess from that one comic you read from the new disney-lucas press thing?" She asked seeing the girl lay there almost motionless on the ground.
Valad began using the force, causing the girl to be eerily lifted from the ground and flopped onto the bed. She had silver jewelry adorning her neck, including a royal pendant and plated choker.
"I would assume so," Valad snickered to himself before looking over at Maddie, seeing she was keenly interested in what he was capable of doing and how he had done it.
"So how do you do it?" She asked curiously, nudging at him. She looked like she was going to come close to biting his leg which was much thicker than her rather dainty mouth.
Valad snickered to himself as he heard her ask. "You know those System novels that I sometimes read online?" He asked curiously, leaning down towards her.
She immediately jerked up into a sitting position, her eyes peaked. "You're shitting me." Her tone was sarcastic, yet it was completely filled with glee. Her love had a life cheat, a literal life cheat! Something that never existed in Star Wars before, was now here. She curled her lips in slightly and grinned.
"Anyways... What year is it? What changes have you forced?" She was assuming he had done something to the timeline to get a hold of this vessel. It was more so clear that he had.
"Well...'Papa' Palpatine is dead. Anakin Skywalker is dead. The Naboo are now a Heredical Monarchy once again. Plagueis is still at large, and the Jedi Council believe I'm the chosen one." Valad was trying rather hard not to laugh when he said this, which made her eyes grow wider. "And it's a few months after the Phantom Menace."
Maddie's jaw wanted to drop, main characters were dead and the story had essential changed main lead roles. She didn't really care much for that, but now that he was the chosen one, should he really go around conquering the unknown? She scratched out that idea, it was unlikely that what he did really mattered in the short-term prophecy of the Jedi Order.
"So we have a Sith Lord who cannot see the future..." Maddie commented, knowing about Darth Plagueis from her little bits of information she had from getting into Star Wars trivia. "He's fucked."
"Tell me about it." Valad said with a shake of his head.
