29 The Star Wars

The Kazarak Slavery Cooperative's headquarters and its corpses were stripped of all of its value. The bodies were burnt, helmets of the 'deceased' were pinned upon the ground on top of broken vibroblades that had their hilts hollowed out.

The last C-9979 landing craft left the planet's surface after all forces began to withdraw. Valad was on the last ship off the surface. He was seated within the conference-esque looking room on board the landing craft. Staring into space as he observed 'The Star Wars' voucher which would give him a companion from that alternate continuum.

How would he explain all of this to the person? Would they have all their memories from the alternate reality? Solo was a Green Alien, Annikan had the last name of Starkiller, and Luke Skywalker was a Jedi General. There were countless people he could call upon, including powerful Sith or Jedi Bendu.

The question was though, did he want a powerful companion? Did he want to have someone who had intimate knowledge of the Force? Someone that could for some reason or another, betray him through the use of the force? He didn't know how limited this companion would be, but he had other ideas.

The body he inhabited was young, he already had a direct apprentice. He didn't want another one, even if it would help with him founding a Force Sect at some point. Establishing one wouldn't be all that hard, the only hard part was getting support for it.

"We're two kilometers out," One of the Commando droids in the guise of a Mandalorian soldier reported in a casual tone with its arms freely hanging at its sides.

"Thank you, understood. Return to monitoring our course," Valad ordered as he narrowed his eyes on the voucher, activating it only to see a handful of names from the eight issue comic series by Dark Horse.

"Roger, roger."

He focused his thoughts on each name, seeing a description for each one which all matched his memory. However one caught his mind almost immediately, Leia. He skimmed over her description for a few moments and began to ponder. She wasn't force sensitive, at least from what he could see since the description didn't say she wasn't. "Hmm..."

[ Leia, a fourteen year old spoiled Princess and Daughter of King Kayos and Queen Breha from the independent desert planet of Aquilae. Her homeworld and father were destroyed by the New Galactic Empire of Alderaan, after the Great Jedi Rebellion and emergence of the Sith Knights. Her mother and two brothers survive thanks to General Luke Skywalker. Note: If this voucher is used to summon her, she would have vanished before she was acquired by Annikan Starkiller shortly after leaving the Royal Palace. ]

"So if I were to take any of these beings as Companions... It'd be altering another Continuum?" He couldn't figure out if he wanted to laugh or cry. What was with this? "I'll go with Leia," whether or not that was the case, he just pulled an essential character out from another story.

Once he selected the spoiled Princess Leia from the planet of Aquilae, a crackling sound was heard within the room. "What...?" Raising a brow he stared at the translucent black circle with glowing white edges appeared two meters above the conference table which was in front of him.

The size of the two dimensional shape seemed to be the diameter equal to an average human being's height, 1.7 meters. Suddenly a petite body flopped down on top of the table, dressed in a pretty white dress. Her brown hair was strung out behind her, her eyes were closed and her breathing was shallow.

Her appearance was similar to that of a much younger bright blue eyed version Maisie Williams, the actor who played Arya Stark in Game of Thrones, his by most favorite character in the series. His heart throbbed seeing her laid out on the table, unconscious.

[ Leia Aquilae acquired. Companion Function Updated. Standby for Awakening. . . ]

With a gasp for air, Leia shot up and quickly took in her surroundings until her gaze centered upon an unknown being. Narrowing her eyes on Valad, she felt safe with his presence, but who was he? "Where am I? Who are you?"

After a few seconds of silence, she noticed something. "Where's my handmaiden!? Where's my stuff!? My father will have your head for this!" She pointed at him with superficial rage written all over her face, scrunched up nose and blazing blue eyes.

Valad simply smiled watching her as she seemed to be in her own little world, panicking partially because he wasn't answering her questions. Though he would watch as she came over and started beating on him lightly with little slaps and pounding of the fist.

It was like looking at a little girl throwing a tantrum, and that was exactly what it was. From what he remembered, she did the same thing to Annikan Starwalker when he tried to bring her back to Luke Skywalker. Yet Annikan just knocked her out with one clean punch to the head.

"You're on a landing craft in the Kazarak System, we're going to be boarding my Flag Ship, the Imperius, in a few minutes. My name is Valad Katsure, a Noble of the Naboo. It is a pleasure to meet your acquaintance Leia."

The spoiled brat stared at the man, slowly bringing her tantrum to a halt. The information clearly confused her. She never heard of a Naboo, nor has she heard of his supposed noble house. "And my...?"

"Right, the New Galactic Empire, from your 'reality,' destroyed Aquilae. There's nothing left." Valad told another lie as he had told before. However this was a convincing one, since she knew her father wasn't going to sign a treaty with the New Galactic Empire.

Her imagination reigned as her world shattered around her. Aquilae was gone. Her brothers were gone. Her mother and her father, the Jedi-Bendu bodyguards. She found herself droning over to a chair and slumping into it.

He brought up her companion status.

Name: Leia Aquilae

Age: Fourteen

Gender: Female

Race: Human (?)

Mood: Pacified; Devastated.

Status: Stunned, Confused.

"Why am I here?" Her head lulled back, the devastation of having lost everything was clear as tears trickled down her face.

"This isn't a time to be finding yourself," Valad stated as he leaned towards her and out reached a hand for her to take, a soft smile across his lips. "It is time to adapt."

Leia looked at him with empty, bright blue, eyes as she stared at his smile. "Adapt?" Her vibrant hues moved down to look at his hand, her gaze turned into a glare. However it then quickly changed to surprise as she felt her pulled from the chair, onto her knees and her cheek found itself cupped by the very same hand.

"Jedi?" Leia sniffled, her blue eyes shifted towards him with her tender eyes widening as best they could. Tears continued to streak down her face, leaving little beads of water dripping from her jaw.

"Not quite." Valad's response was simple.

She began to feel a soft tingling in the back of her head, which then spread to the rest of her body. A warmth emitted from his hand which wrapped around her heart and soul, a phantom illusion which effected the nerves and neural impulses of the brain.

The craft shook lightly as the hangar's docking tractor beam took hold of the vessel and towed it into the first hangar zone on the starboard side, opposite form where the Kazarak's slaves were in zone two on the port side, which was sealed off from port side's zone one.

If he wasn't influencing her mind, she might have been startled by the sounds, yet instead she just sunk into his hand. Her hands clasping it against her cheek as if greedily wanting more warmth.

It was just his indoctrination technique at work.

With the last C-9979 landing craft nestled into the hangar of the Imperius, the fighter droids began to be recalled once the Slavery Syndicate's fighters were dealt with. The Freighter didn't gain much damage from this due to their high defense powers from the capital shields.

Damaged and destroyed droids were being reinserted into the factory assembler, where they'd be recycled into new commando droids refitted with plastic Mandalorian armor once again.

The C-9979 landing craft powered down and the loading ramp laid down as the airlock opened.

"Leia," Valad pressed two fingers against her forehead, in which she groaned in response and swatted at the hand. His eye twitched slightly, had she grown desperate for comfort? Yanking his hand away, he heard her gasp and felt her reach out; her fingers blindly brushing by his arm.

Standing up he would wrap his arm under her own, "Hey!" She whined as she felt herself being drawn out of the landing vessel. Her eyes widening as she saw the vast size of the hangar they were in.

The architecture was completely unknown to her, it didn't look like the Alderaan Empire, or that of her homeworld's. It was clearly intimidating in dark though, especially the reflective black floor.

"This is the Imperius?" She was momentarily distracted from her depression, being shell shocked by the new thing around her. Especially the ships which were all lined up, the fighters coming in to land. Only the TIE fighter cockpit looked familiar, but everything else was foreign to her.

"Yes, it is. Stolen from the Trade Federation, it's a heavily modified Lucrehulk-class Droid Control Ship with advanced electronic warfare abilities. It hosts its very own assembly lines, and over 300,000 thousand battle droids. It could challenge a small army of a lowly defended planet." He notified her with a small smile across his lips, clearly informing her of its possible use. He was going to conquer and install his very own Empire.

Leia thought back to how he said the New Galactic Empire destroyed her home and people. "Will it destroy worlds...?" Her question was responded with a slow shake of his head.

"Why would one destroy a world with so many resources and living assets?" His question made her nod slowly as she realized this, but also didn't understand her purpose of being with him. Did he save her from this supposed destruction somehow?

R9-9D was on the main control bridge of the Imperius, overlooking the vast viewport. It was staring off into space, a reclusive chirp could be heard every now and then.

Taking out his communicator, Valad would contact R9-9D. "Set a course for the Kamino System, Grid Coordinates S-15. 70,000 light years from the Galactic Core. Take us out behind the fourth planet, Faa."

Chirping sharply in acknowledgement the droid would begin to roll on over towards the helm control and wire himself in.

Valad only had one month to return to the planet of Naboo, assist Qui Gon Jin and even assassinate the youngling Anakin Skywalker. So he was going to Kamino to have a bit of fun messing with the Kaminoan's Inhibitor chip. His intention was to change the Contingency Order 66, turning the clones against whomever sought fit to execute the destruction of the Jedi.

He had the general hunch that Jango Fett would be on this world.
