Lucas wanted to fight more in the [Silver fighting arena] and increase his number of wins as soon as possible to reach the next grade which was [Gold fighting arena].

Not only the fighters in the [Gold fighting arena] were stronger but the rewards from it would be definitely higher.

So, Lucas didn't hesitate even a single bit as he directly replied to the spirit fairy who sent him to his next round.

After finishing her words, the spirit fairy disappeared from the arena.

'A female fighter?'

Even though Lucas knew that the females also have the system, this was his first time encountering a female fighter in the [Fighting arena].

The female fighter named [Pink chairot] was wearing a pink mask with a small golden chariot insignia on it.

"Chariot"

As Lucas was checking out his first female fighter in the fighting arena, she directly summoned a golden chariot out of thin air before jumping onto it.

'Looks like she is totally my type.'

Lucas always preferred the fights that started without using challenging or mocking words to their opponents.

So, when he saw that his opponent was not wasting any time and directly attacking, Lucas revealed a slight smile under his mask.

'I wonder why she named herself Pink chariot when the summoned chariot was golden in colour.'

Nevertheless, Lucas was curious about her code name before using 'Shadow jump'.

'Swoosh'

Lucas disappeared from his place and his destination was to come out of the shadow of his opponent.

'Swoosh'

However, something obstructed him from completing his shadow jump as he reappeared in the same place.

'What the..'

Lucas was shocked at the failure of his skill; however, he didn't have the luxury to think about it as the chariot was about to hit him.

'Swoosh'

Just when the sharp spears at the front of the chariot were about to pierce Lucas, he jumped aside and dodged it without using any skills.

'Why the hell did my skill [Shadow jump] fail?' 

Only after knowing that he had successfully escaped the chariot, Lucas was able to heave a sigh of relief as he looked at the [Pink Chariot] with a frown.

'I need to find out why my skill failed.'

Lucas started thinking about it and at the same time, he thought about how to defeat her.

"Since you are able to escape my chariot, I think you are a tier 3 or above general rank profession."

As Lucas was thinking about his skill failure, [Pink Chairot] didn't attack Lucas; instead, she looked at him and guessed his strength.

"So?"

Lucas frowned as he felt he was completely looked down on by her because she was standing on the chariot like a mighty general.

Nevertheless, he replied with a calm tone as many thoughts flashed in his head.

"So?"

[Pink Chairot] chuckled a little as she continued, "Good. Just from your reply, I can tell you must be at tier 5. No wonder, you are proud."

'Huh?'

Lucas felt chills when he heard her words because he felt like he was being seen through by her.

"Since you are a powerful fighter, I have to use my powerful trump card to defeat you, right?"

[Pink chairot] seemed like she was excited about something as she placed her hands on the golden chariot she was in.

'Swoosh'

All of a sudden, the golden chariot started shining with bright light because turning from a golden colour to pink colour.

"Please, don't disappoint me."

As soon as the chariot's colour changed, [Pink chairot] said those words to Lucas before guiding her chariot at him.

'Huh? A second form?'

Lucas was surprised that the chariot had two forms.

Even though it looked powerful and majestic in its golden form, it looked dangerous in its pink form.

The number of the spears and the length of those spears increased by twice along with the horses that were pulling the chariot.

However, one horse was still golden in colour whereas the other one was pink in colour.

"This is going to be interesting."

Even though the chariot seemed very dangerous as it was fully equipped with weapons from all sides, Lucas didn't feel intimidated.

Instead, he was excited because he was going to use his full battle prowess against this fighter.

[Dark wind blades]

'Swoosh'

'Clang'

He started with his wide range attack; however, a protective barrier appeared around the chariot that blocked all the blades.

'So, the chariot is protected by the barrier.'

Finally, Lucas was able to find out the reason why his skill [Shadow jump] failed earlier.

'Looks like I need to play dirty too.'

Clearly, [Pink chairot] was completely relying on her chariot which seemed like an impenetrable fortress. So, Lucas revealed an evil smile and decided to play dirty too.

'Swoosh'

Lucas didn't use any skill while dodging the incoming chariot once again.

"You got quick reflexes but it is not enough."

[Pink chairot] was a little bit surprised to see Lucas' quick reflexes; however, she knew she could defeat him.

"Once again."

Soon, the chariot made a U-turn and once again rushed towards Lucas.

'Huh? It is faster this time.'

Lucas could tell that the speed of the chariot has doubled again and the area was covered by the weapons hanging around the chariot also.

'Come out, Blackie.'

This time, Lucas knew that he could not escape the chariot just by jumping to the side. So, he summoned a spirit beast.

It was the Blackwind panther which excels in speed. 

After the back to back rewards from the heavens, it had finally reached peak rank 4 spirit beast and because of his innate ability, it is even faster than average mid-level rank 5 spirit beasts.

"Let's go."

Mounting the blackwind panther, Lucas ordered it to run away from the chariot.

'Swoosh'

In an instant, the blackwind panther covered 100 meters and by the time [Pink chairot] realized what happened just now, Lucas and the panther were at least one kilometer away from them.

'What the hell?'

[Pink chairot] could not help but curse when she saw that Lucas was just running away from her.

'This should be enough to annoy her.'

Lucas asked the panther to stop running as he waited for the chariot to cover the distance between them.

'Swoosh'

'Let's go and stop some distance away from the chariot again.'

As the pink chariot rushed towards him, Lucas ordered the panther to start running again.

The process repeated as Lucas and Panther would stop some distance away from the chariot and when the chariot comes near to them, they would start running away again.

'Even though I lose the gold coins for not finishing the match in less than two minutes, I have to win this match to double my gold coins from the betting counter.'

This was the only thought in his head that made Lucas okay with wasting the time of the match.

Since the opponent is tough, he could just slide the gold coins for this round by winning late; however, he didn't want to mess up his winning streak.

"If you are a man, stop running and fight like a man."

As Lucas expected, [Pink chairot] was annoyed as she shouted at him.

"..."

Lucas didn't bother to give any reply to her as he waited for the chariot to reach him before running away.

"Damn it…do you want to continue this forever? Just stay at one place…."

'Swoosh'

[Pink chairot] was annoyed with Lucas's lack of response to her words and wanted to make him stay at one play; however, in the middle of her speech, the pink chariot started shining brightly.

"Oh no…the time limit is up."

[Pink chairot] frowned when she saw the light coming from the chariot and shook her head.

"Damn it…don't let me find you in the future. I will make sure to regret what you did today."

[Pink charoit] was frustrated as she shouted at Luca before looking at the sky and shouted, "I give up on this round."

'Huh? What?'

Lucas was a little bit surprised when he heard those words; however, when he thought about something, he was no longer surprised.

Without wasting any time, he replied to [Pink chairot], "I did nothing though."

That's right.

For the entire time, Lucas ran away from her and didn't even bother to attack her. So, he basically did nothing to her.

'Aargh'

Pink chariot just wanted to beat Lucas to death; however, she knew she was not powerful enough to catch him.

'Swoosh'

Soon, she disappeared from the fighting arena as the spirit fairy appeared in front of Lucas.

'So, the time limit for the chariot is nearly 30 minutes. It's longer than I expected.'

Even though Lucas didn't know the exact time, he was sure that it was around 30 minutes since the chariot turned from golden colour to pink colour.

"Anyway, I won the match without doing anything."
