277 Meeting Blood tamer again

'Let's see who I will fight in the first round.'

After placing the bet of one millin gold coins on himself, Lucas looked forward to his first opponent in the [Silver fighting arena].

'Swoosh'

Soon, a silhouette flashed in the distance as his first opponent appeared in front of Lucas.

"You…aren't you the same one I fought in the [Bronze fighting arena]?"

As soon as the opponent saw Lucas in the distance, he instantly recognized Lucas.

Even though all the fighters inside the [Fighting arena] cover their faces with masks, Lucas' opponent was able to recognize him because of the mask.

"Oh. You are the one who said who will take revenge after losing the battle against me in the [Bronze fighting arena]."

At the same time, Luccas also recognized his opponent as he asked, "What is your name again? [Blood keeper] or [Blood sucker]?"

"Damn you… it is [Blood tamer.] I thought you might have already entered the [Golden fighting arena]. Looks like you are not as strong as I imagined."

In the beginning, Lucas' opponent cursed Lucas for a moment; however, he suddenly realized something and mocked Lucas for being stuck in the Silver fighting arena.

The thing is, it's been nearly three months since they last fought in the [Bronze fighting arena] and [Blood tamer] assumed that [Lonewolf] must have reached [Gold fighting arena].

He even thought of forgetting about his revenge and just focused on increasing his strength and defeating other fighters.

"Oh. You might be wondering why I am still in this [Silver fighting arena], right?"

Lucas was not offended by [Blood tamer]'s word; instead, he expained as he felt like explaining, "I was stuck in the [Monster boss room] for a while."

"Who will be stuck in the [Monster boss room] for three…wait. What did you say?"

[Blood tamer] wanted to mock Lucas; however, he once again was a little late in understanding Lucas's words as he asked with a shocked look on his face.

"If you give up, I will explain everything."

Lucas shook his head as he didn't bother to explain furthermore as he wanted to defeat his opponent as soon as possible to receive more gold coins.

[Shadow jump]

'Swoosh'

In the next second, Lucas disappeared from his place and appeared from [Blood tamer]'s shadow and tried to pierce his short sword through the [Blood tamer's] abdomen.

'Clang'

However, just as the short sword touched [Blood tamer's] skin, a metallic sound resounded as though there was some metal armour beneath [Blood tamer's] skin.

"Your defence increased a lot compared to the last time we fought."

Lucas was not surprised with the blood armour underneath [Blood tamer's] skin as he complimented [Blood tamer].

"I have learned more skills after our last battle."

[Blood tamer] revealed a proud look on his face when Lucas acknowledged him regarding his improvement in his defence. 

'Swoosh'

'Puchi'

In the next second, three red-coloured blades came out from [Blood tamer's] back as they periced through Lucas abdomen at lightning speed.

"How is it?"

After finishing his critical attack, [Blood tamer] turned towards Lucas and asked with a proud look as he continued saying, "I will make you answer all my questions once I defeat you thoroughly."

"Everyone, come out."

Even though [Blood tamer] already captured Lucas using his blood blades, he didn't want to turn completely arrogant like last time and wanted to defeat Lucas thoroughly.

So, he summoned all his tamed spirit beasts.

'Roar'

'Hiss'

'Screech'

More than 10 spirit beasts appeared around them which emitted blood halos around their bodies.

"Haha…you are more careful than the last time. Good. Very good."

Even though three blades were still inside his body, Lucas laughed out loud.

"Stop laughing already."

'Puchi'

'Puchi'

Seeing Lucas laugh like that, [Blood tamer] became angry as he loked at his ten spirit beasts which used the similar attack as him, a blood blade.

A single blood blade from each of the spirit beasts came out of their bodies as they periced through Lucas' body one after another.

"The pain feels real…just like the time I experienced."

Lucas' face no longer had a smile as it was entirely covered with sweat; however, he didn't let out a single groan.

"Wh…what are you?"

[Blood tamer] got shocked to see Lucas who was not showing any pained look on his face and asked whether it was human or something else.

"I know you are barely able to endure your pain; however, I will not let you die until you answer some of my questions. So, just answer my questions and I will kill you right away."

Even though [Blood tamer] didn't like Lucas' attitude, he was curious about [Monster boss room].

Even though that function is still not available for him, he knew about it and wanted to gather more information on it.

Moreover, according to what he knew, the fight who clears the first hall of the [Monster boss room] were all Gold level fighters.

'Did he clear the first hall? Or did he give up halfway?'

Since Lucas said he got stuck in the [Monster boss room] for three months, [Blood tamer] was sure that Lucas had more information about the [Monster boss room] and he could either use it for himself in the future and at the same time, he could sell it off to other fighters.

Because the information on the [Monster boss room] was very valuable among the fighters as it was rumoured to give good rewards.

"Okay. I am done playing with you. It's time to end this."

Even though Lucas wanted to clear the round as soon as possible, he felt like annoying the [Blood tamer] a little just like last time.

So, after making [Blood tamer] think that everything was under his control, Lucas wanted to turn the tables within a moment.

"Darkwind blades"

As soon as he finished his words, Lucas released the dark wind blades from his body in every direction.

'Puchi'

'Kacha'

All the blood blades that were pierced into Lucas' body were cut by the dark wind blades in an instant and of course, the blades didn't do much damage on the spirit beasts or [Blood tamer].

"What are you doing?"

[Blood tamer] was surprised for a moment; however, he was furious as he shouted at Lucas, "Don't pull those blades out; otherwise you will die in a matter of seconds."

[Blood tamer] didn't want Lucas to die without answering his question. So, he shouted at Lucas not to pull the blood blades that were still stuck inside Lucas' body.

"Let's see."

With a slight smile on his face, Lucas casually pulled out one of the blood blades.

'Swoosh'

However, in the next instant, something happened in front of [Blood tamer]'s eyes that made him look Lucas in a completely new light.

"What kind of monster are you?"

This was the only question [Blood tamer]  had in his head as he asked Lucas about it.

The reason why he asked such a question ws because [Blood tamer] saw  that the hole left behind by the blood blade that Lucas had just pulled out was instantly healed leaving behind a trail of blood.

"Me?  I am just a human."

As soon as he finished his reply Lucas pulled out the remaining blood blades as though they were nothing.

'Puchi'

'Kacha'

The holes made by the blood blades in Lucas' body were instantly healed just like when he pulled out the first blood blade.

It was because of Lucas' passive skill [Rapid rainbow regeneration] that could not only heal his injuries but it would even regenerate his body parts.

'I just need to protect my head and I will not be killed no matter what.'

Lucas revealed a slight smile on his face as he walked towards [Blood tamer].

"So, what do you think? Do you haave any chance of winning against me?"

Lucas asked [Blood tamer] while keeping an eye on his spirit beasts that looked as scared as [Blood tamer].

"I give up. I give up."

[Blood tamer] knew when to move forward and when to retreat. So, without any hesitation, he decided to give up the fight against [Lone wolf].

'A monster that doesn't feel pain and instantly heals its injuries. I can't win against…that's not right. No one can win against it.'

This was the only reason why [Blood tamer] didn't even bother to try fighting Lucas because he knew he could not win against.

Moreover, the fight would be completely one-sided. So, he gave up without hesitation befooroe asking, "Can you please answer a few questions about the [Monster boss room]."

However, before Lucas could say anything, the spirit fairy appeared in the arena as it started announcing as usual.

'Spirit fairy, let me talk with my opponent for a moment.'

Suddenly, Lucas interrupted the spirit fairy as he asked the spirit's permission to talk with [Blood tamer].
