OK, I'll have to deal with the other skills later, let's start with what I know and have, I have 3 skills that are currently usable.
To check out the new skills he used 'Essence Reader' again, but what showed was just the same skill, so to check, he then selected each one to see if there was a hidden function, until he tapped the skill 'Soul Eater'.
The skills were listed like before, however because of the environment he didn't have time to check each of them.
So he had to put it on hold.
The three skills he had were...
Essence Reader, a skill which allows me to see souls or more likely life force.
Poltergeist, a skill that summon a ghost like monster that follows his absolute commands.
And finally, Soul Eater, a skill that collects life energy in the surrounding areas and lets me gain some type of energy.
The surrounding area is very brittle, after the whole incident with the Ghost, the place appears to only have minutes left until it collapses completely with me being buried alive.
The only entrance, the hole in the ceiling that had a cliff at the top.
To make sure, he had Ghost climb the wall, and it looks like it could hold its weight, but it appears that if any weight was added, it could lead to the walls collapsing all together.
'Wonder what should I do? Should I or not?'
"…Ah hell, it's going to be do or die, I'll just have to move fast, and I can't stay here forever, I'll starve to death and I would have no choice but to eat some of the corpses meat and I can't bring myself to desecrate them even more."
Thinking for a moment, he used his memories if they could be of any help.
'…Well I did play a survival game, where you would have to climb collapsing walls until you reach the top, but this time I have someone else do the climbing, and my life literary on the line here.'
'…I think the trick was to switch positions after you land, since I'm on the back of someone climbing the wall, it will be more difficult.'
Well everything won't always be easy, like the old saying goes: 'eat bitter taste sweet.'[1]
'Essence!' after practicing, he realized that he can shorten the chant, and can even do it without closing his eyes.
Looking at the top, he found 2 spectral figures above in a farther direction.
'Wonder what's up there?'
He climbed on the back of the ghost and had him climb the wall slowly, he didn't want to fall, so he used some rope from below and tied himself on ghost…
"OK, climb up!" ghost had immediately jumped to the wall and followed his order, showing no form of discomfort.
'Looks like its capable of carrying me all the way to the top.'
Stigma was quietly observing the figure in front of him as he looked around.
---
"Damn! You! Gus!" Frank left yesterday to buy from the merchant Gus told him, however, he never would have expected they had limited stocks, leading him running around just to find enough money just to buy all the stocks.
Without any option, he was left with using his hidden saving to buy all the remaining, only to find out, because of the limited stocks the price increased, and just buying one jug is enough to make his heart bleed.
"The booze from the same guy you told me before was expensive! You didn't tell me about the price, I had to use my savings for tonight and I had my eye on a new beauty!!!" Frank glared at Gus who didn't appear to care about his ranting.
"You didn't ask, and I saved up as well, unlike you I even bought some food for us today, and you keep spending it on the brothels every day, so it's not my fault. Hehehe" Gus was snickering as he saw a haggard Frank.
At a tunnel in Red Rock Valley, Gus was waiting for Frank, the ones responsible for disposing bodies for the Naga clan. Frank was returning from buying 6 jugs of liquor from a merchant in Mordan City, that was selling goods from the South.
Unable to respond, he can only curse to him angrily.
"FUCK! YOU'RE PAYING FOR MY NIGHT PARTNER THIS TIME!"
"FUCK NO!" Gus shouted back, after hearing the unreasonable demand, who wouldn't feel angry.
---
The argument continued on after an hour and they were exhausted from constant banter. To lighten the mood Frank remembered something.
"Hey, did you hear about the group resting in the plains, it full of 'special' merchants." Frank had a look like he needed confirmation on the news.
"I heard, what about it" Gus had a grinning expression after hearing the same news Frank heard, he confirmed that it was true after speaking with a traveling merchant who bought from them recently.
"Then it's true then!!!" Frank was delighted, the news just made his day.
A traveling slave market.
As the name implies, it's a group composed of slave trader, it passes by any large cities and set up camp to sell branded slaves for 15 days, today was the 10, there was only 5 days left, until they will leave to the next city, news was the products being sold are in varieties from other provinces.
Who wouldn't have their own dark desires after hearing about it.
In fact, Gus and Frank both had sold all their belongings with high value beforehand after hearing the news, and brought all their savings from previous jobs.
That was also the reason why Frank was hesitant in using his hidden savings for the expensive Southern Liquor, he wanted to buy a few sex slaves and Gus had the same thought as well.
These two desired to show them of, so they didn't even tell others where they were going or when will they return to surprise them.
In this world, only the strong have the right to make the rules, but even the strong will be slave bound if they get tricked, slaves are branded with a special sealing curse, so they will have to obey they contracted master, if not the slave will suffer a curse backlash.
Most slave traders, try to pay a high price for strong warriors to sell them to other families with weak military strength.
High quality slaves are trained to please their master, if the buyer was willing to pay more, the slave will be added more restraints
For example, if they want to forbid them from speaking, then their brand will be modified to either, make them suffer or instantly kill them, if they do such acts.
In fact, slaves are more commonly sold to large clans and cities, that was why most slave traders often travel and settle to areas where large clans are based, and move to the next sending them letter to their leaders before hand, gaining access to each city before they can go.
The slave traders don't only sell slaves, but even charge a special fee to make personally captured people their slaves.
"Let's drink to it then!" Gus then grabbed a jug, he was getting giddy, licking his lips just from the thought.
"Cheers then!" Frank had a savage grin in his face, after hearing it was true he was getting excited.
The two then took a jug and drank from it, talking about their plans in the process.

Still climbing on the cliff, was Stigma latching on the back of the ghost from before.
"Hey, do you have a name?" he waited to see, if the ghost had any response.
Unfortunately, silence was only his answer, he was clinging on the back of the ghost that had been climbing for about four hour, and he asked out of boredom.
"Right, you can't even talk…Then let's call you, Dusk."
…Still no response, huh, but it appears to be shaking a little after being named, hey! Stop it!
*BING!*
[You have just named a monster and had acknowledged to being your familiar]
*Familiars, are creatures bound with trust to a contractor, they will evolve along with their master as they both get stronger, take note that having a one sided relationship will be short lived.*
[Dusk has accepted being your familiar, System has added the name: Dusk to your list of familiars]
A notification suddenly popped out of nowhere and almost made Stigma let go, thankfully he was tied to his newly named familiar, Dusk.
"…Still being named appears to have him excited, whatever, Dusk speed up a little!"
The ghost, now named Dusk, began to pick up the pace out of nowhere, it must be happy with its name or it just followed the order, overall they were getting them close to the top.
*Crack* Huh? *Crack* *Crack*
Stigma looked around to the origin of the noise, only to change his face to an ugly expression.
Cracks started to appear from below, it appeared as though the wall were alive, trying to claw their way up in a very fast pace, it looks as though its keeping Stigma from leaving and the wall he was on was crumbling.
"SHIT! It must be weaker than I thought. Hurry up! Dusk!!"
There was over 40 meter left, at the rate of his speed, he can make it…
The wall he was on crumbled, so Dusk leaped unconsciously above, saving its master in the process.
Thankfully, it was learning from its previous mistake from before.
"CLIMB DUSK! CLIMB!"
Dusk had then climbed like it previously did, leaping from side to side after each wall was crumbling.
Faster! Faster! Faster! Faster! Faster! Faster! Faster!!!!
Chanting like a madman was the only thing he can do in this situation, Dusk was getting faster after each order, looking more like a beast trying to chase an invisible prey.
30 meter away…25…20…15…10…
The distance was getting shorter and shorter, but the cracks started appearing more and more ahead of him.
ALMOST THERE! ALMOST THERE!
5 meter left….but before he could reach it, signs of breaking from the cliff were showing, and with him still clinging to it!
"DUSK! AT THE EDGE, JUMP TO THE OTHER SIDE!" Stigma screamed to the top of his lungs, fearing Dusk couldn't hear his orders.
Dusk followed his master's orders obediently, it jumped at the very moment it was on the edge of the falling cliff.
At this very moment, his heart stopped, after he and Dusk landed, a loud crack can be heard, so he waited and braced himself, but no sound of impact was heard.
He turned to look, and saw that the cliff was hanging by the thread if anything landed on it, then it won't be a happy ending.
"Few, any more delay would have ended my life, again."
Realizing he can't get off, he had Dusk cut the ropes of, and had landed on his feet, he felt a little numb from all the time riding on the trip.
After cutting the ropes and dusting himself, he looked around to see where the lights from before are.
'Essence'
Now where are those lights? OH!
The specters he was looking for was facing his direction, but does not appear to have any intention of moving, even after all the commotion that happened.
"Well…not like doing anything, will change anything, Dusk, let's go."
Dusk then walked behind his master, appearing as though he has not done any form of physical labor.
'Fast recovery, gotta remember that!'
He went towards the direction of the lights, and Dusk followed him like a dog.
What Stigma didn't know, was that he was walking towards the perpetrators who threw him down the valley.
