2 Game Wo Hajimeru

Who the hell is this girl?

Why no other people see her aside of me?

How come she is extremely white?

Many questions rose inside Fujimura which made him enough not to pay any attention on his surroundings. The pale skin girl still perched on the teacher's desk, dangling her legs in a playful manner.

"Onii-san do you hear me? Have your brain finally went nuts?" the girl spoke with a little pout.

Fujimura swallowed a lump of saliva, his adam apple could be seen heavily move.

"W-who are you?" Fujimura said while looking horrified.

"Hmm?" the girl tilted her head, "Onii-chan, could you possibly, have not awake yet?"

"Awake?" he wrinkled his eyebrows deeply, What nonsense this pale skin girl talk about?

The girl sighed and her face filled with disappointment, "Here I am, thinking could play with Onii-san, turn out he's not awake yet."

"What are you talking about? What do you mean by awake?" Fujimura couldn't bare anymore not to ask her about the confusing matter.

"If Onii-san want to know..." the girl stood atop the desk with her shoeless feet, she beamed up an innocent smile at him, "you need to win the game."

Then her figure slowly dissipated.

"Wait! What game?!" Fujimura abruptly rose from his seat and dashed toward the teacher desk, but in the halfway, the girl had thoroughly gone.

He stood alone in the middle of the classroom, thinking the last word the girl just spoke

'If you want to know, you need to win the game...'

What the hell is this game she talked about?

"Aaaarghhh!"

Suddenly an ear piercing scream came from outside view of the window. Fujimura startled and he dashed at the source of the sound, he slid open the window and drilled his eyes at the Fujimi's school field track.

There was a girl who ran across the field, from her figure and the way she ran, he recognized this girl is the field track athlete who also in the same years as him. Currently, she ran with despair on her face while grabbing her arm that drenched with blood, her eyes exposed a terrified color until a red thread filling the entire eyes white canvas. She ran while looked over her shoulder, several meters away from her, five figure approached slowly, they appeared to be rush their motion but neither had any intention on running. Their skin is greyish pale and clothes were ruined.

They stepped by stepped getting closer to the far away girl.

She kept running without looking at her front until she accidentally crashed into someone.

It's a person with red jump track suit and slouched lazily on the field. His size was twice higher than the girl and quite filled with body mass.

"Ah, Sensei! Thank God I found you, those people, those people are crazy... one of them bit me and took a chunk of my meat, huum, it hurt so much..." the girl quickly stood up, grabbing the person jumper suit while pointing her finger toward those five people at the far back.

The person which turned out to be the PE teacher didn't move so much after being disturbes by the girl, he only let out moan and slowly turned around.

"S-sensei?" the girl called out in a voice full of doubt.

After he made a full turn, the girl instantly widened her eyes, the once she called Yamada-sensei now had his skin completely turned gray and his eyes were like a white blank paper. His mouth constantly gapping and he acted like someone who had been drunk.

The athlete girl instantly horrified, because this person symptoms is almost the same as those people who tried to kill her, she turned around and wanted to run, but the strange Yamada-sensei sprung his hand and grabbed her head.

"Iyaaaaaa, Sensei, let me go! No, no, please Sensei!"

The large man pulled her head to the side in a harsh manner and he leaned downward, bringing his gaping mouth toward the girl's neck

*Puchi!*

A spray of red liquid combusted from her neck, smearing the entire natural environment with iron scent and bloody paint. Yamada-sensei dirty teeth sank into her juicy neck and hugged her body tightly.

"Argh, Sensei... stop... it hurt... please... sensei... sensei..." Her scared eyes slowly lost their luster, the struggle effort she gave no longer persisted as her body grew limp until she longer move. Yamada-sensei is not just sucking on her blood now, but also munching on her meat. He pushed down her lifeless body into the ground and feast upon her tanned skin. The rest of the figure who previously lagged behind her finally arrived and joined the crazy feast of human meat.

"Hoargh!"

Fujimura witnessed how his classmates being devour by those not so human anymore, his stomach suddenly churned as he held close his mouth and fell into his knees. The toasted bread he gobbled this morning had polluted the entire blue pale floor, it's no longer in a form of bread, more like a porridge now.

"Hah, hah, what the fuck..." he took off his glasses and wiped his eyes, "they... what are they? Are they even a human anymore? What sort of sickness is this?"

He wiped his mouth with his small cloth before throwing it to the side, his mind still trying to accept the fact that his classmates just become people's food and consumed alive.

*Bang!*

At this moment, a loud sound reverberated from behind him, instantly ticked off his danger alarm as he crouched beside the table and hid from the plain sight.

He feared that sound come from those monster that broke through inside the class.

He tried to peek through under the table and noticed the class room's door, albeit it was wide open but no stranger feet strolled inside. Even after few minutes later, it still no sign of a single foot.

Strange, then what sound is that?

He swept his eyes toward another direction then found a bottom part of a strange thing floated in the center of the room.

It smashed broke other table and chair, whirling around on its position without any indication on moving somewhere else.

Fujimura hesitated before he rose up from beside the desk, he was surprised after seeing the rest figure of this strange thing.

It was an icon, a green colored icon that he usually saw on a key chain or phone's strap. It currently rotated and trashing other furniture around it.

It size is almost as big as him, it held a strange trademark on its surface.

Fujimura squinted his eyes and noticed the trademark as if similar to a sword pattern: a handle, hilt, and its edge.

Sensing it held no malice toward him, Fujimura walked passed by two row of desk then he arrived beside the rotated icon.

He rubbed his chin while observing the icon, by the look of how it slammed against other stuff, it should be pretty much made of concrete material, perhaps it was possible for him to touch it.

He stayed for a brief, a naked doubt filled his face at the thought of this thing might harm him after he touched it.

Maybe it will threw his body away, or crumbled it into thousand of fragment.

While his curiosity is getting bigger to touch the icon but his wary toward the circumstances enough to hold him back.

It will be dangerous if an accident occur after he touched the icon, for example: it knocked him unconscious or momentarily paralyzed him.

Thus Fujimura didn't immediately touch it but went at the classroom door's direction.

First he needed to check on his surrounding first whether he was in safe environment or not. He stepped into the hall and glanced to his left, the school hall had enough width, seven to eight people could crammed together in line thus the hall could provide him with a quite mobility without fearing get stuck at certain point. Moreover, there is no hostile or any sort of obstacles on his left.

Then he turned his face to the right.

Holy, fuck!

He almost fainted on the spot.

On the right side of his body, there were many monsters currently mangled on his once called friends. The corridor filled with blood and twitching human bodies as they wept while a gruesome teeth jabbed their flesh. What he noticed is that, one of the monsters is actually his classmates who previously fine, but now, how come he turned into like them?

They way they look, pale grey skin and cannibalism, face like someone who high, eyes had no soul, moved like a drunken master.

Don't tell me this is a zombie from legend?

An undead creature who got resurrected but not with a soul, and only capable on functioning in one thing, eat.

Is this possible? Are they truly a zombie?

Also, what should he do? Is it possible to just hide in here until everything is clear? While he capable on escaping, but once he thought about why he must escape when he certainly can hide, shackled his feet from doing anything.

While Fujimura pondered as he retreated back into the class, suddenly another big sound rung out.

It come from the big Icon, as if taunting him by saying, Hey you big wussy!

While it certainly hilarious for the icon, it clearly not for him, the moment the sound rang from behind him, his face instantly changed, he stepped forward and peeked toward his right, the result almost jumped his heart out if his chest!

The zombies had ceased their feast upon his classmates meat, around fifteen if not twenty zombies currently looking at the direction of the classroom as if got hooked by strange sound.

Son of a *****! This stupid icon really want kill me!

Fujimura greeted his teeth and glared full of hate toward the whirling green icon.

Soon the zombies started raise from the ground and slouched their way with his classroom as the destination.

Fujimura horrified by this sudden change of event, he ran back inside and dashed toward the right gate, he quickly slid the door but make sure not creating a commotion while he at it.

He walked back several steps while goosebumps filled his chest. It was so close for them to notice him and entered the class, so long he remained quiet, he believe those undead will no longer bother with it.

*Ding!*

The icon once again provoked another sound.

"Fuck!" Fujimura angrily whispered as he didn't know what the heck this stupid thing want.

*Ding!* *Ding!* *Ding!* *Ding!* *Ding!*

*Bam!* *Bam!* *Bam!*

The icon now aggressively clanging and ringing, together with the banging sound from the classroom door created one giant orchestra.

Fujimura couldn't help but curse out loud, in this circumstance there is no way he would ever capable hiding anymore. The only option is to run by using the door on the left side. He could see the right side door wouldn't be able to hold on much longer. He prepared to dash out from the room, in term of sports, he can be said above average, unlike both his elder brother and sister who a little bit weak in this department, he strove in this endeavor, but his parents never appreciated it.

"Do you want to stay normal?"

Eh?

The moment he arrived at the left side gate, his ears picked a strange voice. He ceased his steps and glanced around, but found no one other than him.

Who is talking?

The green icon unceasingly let out a sound, increasing the banging that come from the right side door.

His eyes glued to the icon that rotated furiously, as if annoyed someone had been not paying it any attention.

Is that you?

It was as if the time stopped for a while. Fujimura entered a strange situation where he felt the entire atmosphere had been froze. Leaving only him and the icon that could only move.

Stay normal, huh?

The image of him sitting while listening to the boring lessons appeared within his vision.

The scene of him reading a textbook in the cram school manifested from inside his mind.

The picture of him stood among the other participants, dabbled with the brown colored violin on their arms, came all together inside of him.

Such a boring life... Why he must return?

Why must bother with mundane and monotony life, when you could have more.

When you can becoming more?

I see...

I understand now...

The game that I need to play...

Fujimura went silent, he put one hand under his pants pocket and pushed the middle of his glasses with his ring finger.

He walked toward the green icon, slowly, but filled with confidence on each steps he took.

No wonder you kept being noisy

You feared if I am not touching you, it couldn't be started, if the game is not have the begin, then it shall have not the end.

Thus you called out to me, provoking me to touch you.

Sadly, I am smarter than you, instead bother with strange and mysterious thing, I prefer taking a certain steps, hiding and running.

Thus you infuriated by my action.

As if reacting toward Fujimura thought, the icon no longer acted like a child threw a tantrum. It rotated peacefully, like a baby slept after a long night full of cry.

Fujimura squinted his eyes, staring coldly at the icon while his lips gradually slanted.

You right...

By running I won't solve anything.

By hiding I won't got anything.

What's the point of life if under a constant running.

What's the point of peace if under a constant hiding.

Fine then.

I heed your call.

Fujimura lifted his hand and approached the green icon.

The moment his finger clashed against the edge of the icon, it instantly blowed up, submerging his entire body in a green colored light and clouded him with its fragment of pieces. Fujimura didn't have any change on his expression, he fixedly observed how the previous green icon do its job on assisting him to enter the so called the game.

This green icon, is his starting point, his first node in the journey of line, his new game option, his opening sequence.

His blue shaggy hair flapped along with edge of his uniform. Under the grasped of his hand, a long outline of an item started begin its construction, it was built from a framework until a solid material filled the virtual form.

At the same time, the door on the right side slammed open, revealing a group of zombies stumbled inside, the front group slumped onto the ground, while the rest on back treading in.

Fujimura Hayate didn't spring into a panic, he just merely gaze at them without any hurry indication.

He could feel the thing inside his hand had finally finished its construction and the entire green energy had entered his body.

He coldly said, "Sa, Game Wo Hajimeru."
