26 Jake?

As we went closer towards the dark Aura we started hearing some cries of a little kid. Haru slowed down and Bezek too. "There is a kid at about 3 meter distance. 1 can see her, she is sitting alone in the ground and crying. But there is not anyone around her.

According to my vision, Jacob should be on the ground while the other two should be tied to the rope and hanged from the tree upside down", I said looking at the situation.

"You said we have 2 hours. Its only been an hour. Maybe they are on the way. Be careful!", Lord Charles said while looking around the area. I replied with a "Hmmm". After a some minutes, "I will go to the other side. In that way we can surround them", Lord Charles said.

I replied to him, "Okay! But be careful you might encounter them on your way. Stay at 3 meter distance from them. If there is any emergency, Bezek you attack first and don't forget to mention it to me. That way brother can be a back up plan and we can rush to you. When we are charging, Bezek I will contact you.

Haru and Bezek go first. Me and brother will come through the trees. And again, Be careful you both are more important to me as well" Lord Charles nodded while Bezek came to me and nudged my leg. I descended from Haru and caressed his fur, then he took off with Lord Charles. Then I heard Haru's mind voice,

"Looks like the favourites have changed."

I couldn't help but chuckle on his comment and then I hugged the white fury wolf in front of me. "Looks like some one is jelly. You will be always my favourite Haru. Even if I have hundreds of contract spirits, you will always be my favourite!" Suddenly I heard footsteps and looked around to see bunch of people dragging Jacob and his brothers at a distance from us.

"You go to the top of tree and stay silent. I will mange these guys"

Haru said in my mind. I nodded, then with a jump I reached the tree branch. I slowly moved upward to the tree top. From the top I saw, Haru has curled into ball and acting like sleeping. So, he is acting like one of the animals from the forest. The bunch came close and saw the wolf sleeping in the ground.

They were talking in gibberish or whatever. I couldn't understand what they are talking, but they looked like they are avoided getting close to him. The bunch was possessed by dark spirit. They aren't humans, they are from this world I guess.

Suddenly everyone ran to the place where the little kid is. "Something is not right, on your feet guys", I said to Haru and Bezek in my mind voice.

As soon as they reached, the little girl screamed. Jacob and others who were dizzy made sudden movements. All the three went to the little girl and surrounded her, like a shield. The most unexpected thing happened next.

The little girl attacked the three of them and they fell to the ground becoming unconsicous. They a guy came holding, an another little girl looking alike in his arms, she were tied with ropes and her mouth was taped. The little girl who attacked them was Obake.

Obake instructed them something, then it untied the girl from the rope and removed the tape from her mouth. She was so frightened, tears plummeted from her eyes but she didn't make a sound. He smiled at her and then walked north.

"Bezek, Be careful Obake is headed towards your direction", I gave instruction to Bezek through mind. He replied,

"Got it"

The minions of Obake, tied Ethan and Benjamin with a rope to the tree upside down. Jacob was there on the ground. The little girl went to him and shaked him. He became conscious but couldn't move. Then came, the two Tsuchigumo - My vision. As soon as saw I them getting near the little girl, I said "Haru, Bezek move".

The next instant, Haru charged forward fast. I heard the roar of Bezek on the other side. I jumped from trees to trees. The bunch became puzzled by the sound of a wolf and tiger approaching them. "Don't kill them, just them knock them out" As the both of them made a mess with the minions, the two Tsuchigumo took defensive stance.

I saw Lord charles in a tree on my opposite side. He signaled me to move in, I nodded and jumped straight to one Tsuchigumo. My brother took the other one. The little girl dragged Jacob to a nearby tree. Tsuchigumo started attacking me. I fought with it, its defense was more intense than the offense.

I made a right upper cut, it dodged by taking a few steps back but my main objective was different. Bezek pushed the demon from the back and I knocked it off the feet with a kick. It withdrewed into the forest. I followed it for some distance. It vanished from my eyesight. But his bad luck, I could hear his footsteps.

I closed my eyes and concentrated on footsteps. He is circling around me, then he made a sudden punch to my stomach. I didnt dodge it, but took it straight. Then he vanished again. Then he kicked my legs from the back, I fell to the ground. This time he didn't run but came near me. He lifted his leg to give me a kick, but I made a move this time.

And he flew from his position to one side and hit the tree. Yet that guy found the energy to run to the fighting location where others are. I chased him but he ran to Jacob and took him. He climbed the tree, I followed but he jumped.

The worst part now is there is two Jacobs. The one I was fighting wasn't Tsuchigumo but the Obake. The clothes, wounds, blood everything is the same. Both of them looked surprised at the other. One of them fell to the floor first without the energy and the other stood while holding his left shoulder with his right hand. "Jake?", I called in doubt.

Both of them looked at me in sync!
