24 I asked where is Jacob?

My head aches! ahh..... I opened my eyes, looks like I'm in my room. I helped myself to sit, a pair of warm hands took hold of my shoulders and made me sit. When looked at the person who did that, my lips curved up automatically and it slipped some words. "Nice to meet you in real, Haru" He gave me a charming smile back and said,

"It is my pleasure, Little lady"

Suddenly, I heard a voice saying

"I'm here you too"

I laughed at his words and said, "Yes, You are!" he nodded and smiled. Then I continued, "You look good, Bezek. But I loved the little guy more. He was cute and I wanted to give him a big hug." He immediately said,

"I can take always turn into him. Before that, Who is more handsome? Me or Haru?"

This guy why does he turn the situation like this. I looked both of them, one was a hunk from snow peak and another was a hunk from scorching desert. With a helpless look I said, "Both of you are dashing in your own way." Before Bezek could say something, Lord Valdimir opened the door and came in.

He heaved a sigh looking at me and said, "At last you woke." What did he mean by atlast? I forced a smile and said, "How many hours have I been sleeping?" Lord Valdimir looked at me with a helpless expression and then he said, "Two days"

As I heard his words, I rushed out of my bed but the result was I fell again into the bed. I have no strength to move. My head ache became severe. All the three men rushed to me. Lord Valdimir said to Haru while looking at him, "You go and fetch some food for her to eat and tell Rachael to come here"

Haru nodded and left. He then said to Bezek, "Fill the bathtub with warm water". I felt a little aggravated and said, "Father, I can do that later. I need to go out for now. I have to check something important." His expression changed, he took both of my hands in his and said, "Jacob is fine. Charles is tracking the Tsuchigumo demon. Can you please take care of your health Claire?"

I nodded, "How did you know..... Father?" He kept quiet for a while and then his expression changed as if he was hurt. I didn't think it will make him feel this bad. He then replied after a while, "I know everything that happens in this house."

After a short pause, he said, "Drink my blood, it will help you calm down." Then he took his hands away from my hands. Somehow I felt cold after that. I took his hand and sunk my teeth in it. Its been a week since I had his blood. The members of Cullen family have been taking shift to feed me.

It is not like I'm hungry, from the moment I opened my eyes I never felt hunger for blood. But my body becomes weak, so I need blood to regain power. The taste of blood is more like strong wine with some tinge of iron. Lord Valdimir's blood is most tastiest and more powerful one.

I felt replenished in some minutes, so I retracted. "Is it enough?", Lord Valdimir asked. "I feel good now", I replied. Then he said sadly, "Last time, you drank a lot more compared to now. Are you sure it is enough. You are still weak."

I smiled and said, "I think my body has started to become stable."

He nodded and remained silent. For few minutes the silence prevailed then, Bezek came out of the bathroom and said with a cheeky smile, "Bubble bath is ready to accommodate one person" Lord Valdimir gave him a cold glare, but Bezek didn't mind it and looked at me like puppy dog wuth wide eyes.

I chuckled as I stood up and said, "Gentlemen, If you grant me some privacy I will feel more grateful" Lord Valdimir smiled at my sentence and stood up from the bed. But Bezek, he transformed into tiger and caressed my legs while circling me. Lord Valdimir came back and dragged him out of the room by holding his tail.

I laughed my stomach out. Then I had bubble bath and came out in robe. There was hot food on the table near the bed. I wore a denim shirt and a dark blue jean. I had a bit of the food, then walked out of the room to check the situation.

On the way to hall, there was an uproar. I heard Alan's voice, then I rushed to the hall. Alan's shirt had patches of blood.

When he looked at me, he put his head down. "Where is Jacob?", I demanded. In the room Haru, Bezek, Edgar, Kent, Lady Rachael, Lord Raphael, Lord Valdimir was present. Everyone kept quiet.

I increased my voice and said, "I asked where is Jacob?" Alan opened his mouth to say, but Haru interrupted him saying, "We don't know either"

I looked at Lord Valdimir and said in disdain, "You said, he was fine.... father!" He looked at me dumbfounded. "Lord Valdimir also, just found out captain. It was entirely my fault." Fear and anger welled up inside me. I asked Alan, "Explain your stand Soldier!"

He never lifted his head but continued, "Everything was fine untill this morning. Lady Abigail's daughter, Carlen went missing. Everyone was searching for them including me and Jacob. I was next to him during the search. Then Jacob received a call from Lady Abigail that both Ethan and Benjamin were also missing. It became clear that someone was targeting Jacob's family.

At moment I received a call from Ortis saying that, He saw people from Jacob's family being carried into Aria forest and Lord Charles with his team is on the way to the forest. I said this to Jacob, he transformed and ran. I also ran after him, but was at a distance from him.

Suddenly some people started to attack us. They looked like they were possessed. Jacob tear them and went forward.

I was also fighting with them. After I was done with them, Jacob was nowhere to be found. When I reached Aria forest, Lord Charles was there but he didn't see Jacob. I called Ortis but he also didn't see Jacob near the Aria forest or more like not in any of the street cameras."
