17 'Emergency protocol J'

I was already in the demon section. If I were to start somewhere without any lead, then it would take me some months to finish and get what I'm searching. I should start from somewhere related. Atmost I have only two days, before that I needed help from others. I can't finish this alone.

I suddenly remembered that, Claire has already conducted some research on demons. That way she learned the methods of summoning spirits. Who knows same method might be used to summon the familiar too. Whatever my plan maybe I need the help of Lady Rachael to have access to other things. She has been on my side from the very first day we met.

I think I can trust her more and I dont have any other better options. Time is ticking and I don't even know the exact time of the incident that was about to happen. I shouted, "Rachael, where are you? I need to talk with you" The next second she appeared next to me. I was startled by her action and went a step back. She looked at my movement and kindly reminded me, "Dont forget sweety, we are Vampires. Our physical strength is something outrageous."

I gave her faint smile and started to change my expression into a little sister who felt lost. Looking at my expression she asked, "Is everything alright Elly? You look like you feel ill" I grabbed the chance and said looking like it hurts, "Sister Rachael, I have hidden something from you. At that time I was not sure whether I can tell you or not.

But without your help I'm completely lost. I have no idea where to start. Actually..." I paused few seconds to choose my words and continued, "...yesterday night the reason for my sudden depletion in energy was the vision I saw. It appeared when Jacob hugged me and the vision was about...."

I explained her everything I saw in the vision. She was silent for few minutes then she opened her mouth, "You feel responsible, since you know about his death in advance?" I nodded to her question and then she asked, "You want to save him?" I nodded again. She said, "Then what are you waiting for? Tell me what are the things you need. I will tell the servants to get you Claire's research materials and arrange for some people from reasearch department to work under you."

I didn't think she will help me to this extent. She even found a plan in few minutes. I said excitedly, "Thank you big sister" She smiled and replied, "You have rights to do anything in this mansion. I don't like that jerk but still its a life and I am a doctor. Do you need anything else?" I thought for a while and looked at her like should I ask or not.

She again asked, "You know you can ask me anything. Don't hesitate, do you need anything else?"

This is not the time to hesitate. "Yeah I need one more thing, my team alpha" Lady Rachael looked a bit loss upon hearing my request. I continued, "I'm not asking all of them. I just need the 6 marked people and while calling them mention 'Emergency Protocol J' Tell them they should report to me as soon as possible after they finish their current mission."

She nodded and said, "Okay, I will get everything for you. And if you walk straight at the end, there are some dictionaries and translation books. Read them for reference. The language in the books will be different after all." After she turned to leave but before that "Sister!" She turned to look at me, "Can you provide some other basic things like mobile phone, causal clothes and coffee?" She smiled and nodded before she left.

I went straight to the translation books. Started with easy ones. Most of the books were hand written. My reading speed has also increased, when others look at me they will think I'm just flipping pages. Every book in the stack was return by ancestors. One book led to another.

When I was reading the last book, I saw Butler Vivin standing beside me. I had no idea for how long he was standing. "I'm sorry uncle Vivin, I didn't realise you where there. I was focused on the book." I apologized to him. He smiled and said, "It is alright young madam, I saw how focused you were so I didn't want to disturb you.

Coffee is in the flask and kept at the table. I will be at your service today. If you need anything you can ask me. At this moment others are retrieving the research materials you asked. Here young madam." He handed me two bags. He is quite an gentlemen and treats me kindly.

The way he address Claire and me is really carefully thought. He makes sure he doesn't hurt me. That is why I call him uncle. In one bag there was clothes for me to change with shoes and in another bag there was a hand bag, in which mobile phone, make up kit and other basic things were there.

I took my mobile phone and opened it, it was a brand new one with no contacts. I asked the butler for some fresh notebooks and pens amd asked the phone numbers of some people. He nodded and bowed before he went to prepare the things I asked.

I saw a restroom nearby so I went in to change my clothes. When I came back I wore a black full sleeve t shirt with cold sleeves. And blue shorts upto my thigh and indoor shoes. I tied my hair into a bun with bun stick I found in my handbag.

I already washed my make up with a facewash which was also in hadbag. I left the items in the room and came out empty handed.

When I came out, the empty space in which I was standing earlier while reading books, there was big table with 5 chairs beside it. There were few notebooks, papers and a pen stand on side while the other side has coffee and snacks in the surface of the table.

I went to grab a cookie and one cup of coffee in my both hands. When I settled in one chair, uncle vivin placed the book I was reading in front me.
