3 It's bigger inside than outside

They take a step forward and what they see takes away their breath.

Columns and columns of bookshelves as far as the eye can see. Also, many glass cabinets, but mainly bookshelves. The smell of old books fills the air.

"Whoa! I know I'm repeating myself, but… whoa!" exclaims Leah, as she goes deep into the huge Library. "It's just…"

"I know. It's bigger inside than outside", finishes Eva for her.

"Not what I meant, but yes, that's truth", admits Leah.

"Well, ladies, if you have finished admiring the architecture, I think there is someone here that wants to meet both of you", says Lucien.

He guides the sister by a corridor between the bookshelves, without explaining much about this place. Obviously, this is a library. Well, a library with a humongous collection of books, but Leah and Eva have the feeling that there is something else here. That within the pages of those books may be the secrets of the universe.

Finally, they arrive to another big door. However, this time Lucien knocks at the door.

Knock! Knock!

"Darien, it's me, Lucien. Open the door. I've come with some guests", says Lucien to the door.

But no answer comes from inside. Again, he knocks at the door.

Knock! Knock!

"Oh, come on! I know you are there. Open the door! Now!", insists Lucien.

Immediately, they hear someone approaching to the door, opening locks and then, the door opens.

"Oh, my! Lucien! I didn't know you were here", exclaims Darien. "Please, come in. And I see you brought two beautiful young ladies with you", continues while looking at the sisters.

Leah and Eva look at him. He seems to be a half-blood: a mix of two races.

A long time ago, half-bloods were despised, since races wanted to protect their purity and didn't want to mix with other races. Nowadays, however, this is not a problem anymore. Or at least, for those who have a mentality much modern. In fact, for many people being a half-blood equals to be different. That means you are unique, special.

Darius seems to be half elf and half dwarf. The physical appearance and elegance of an elf, but with some typical gestures of a dwarf.

Dairus closes the door and turns toward them.

"Wait here, I will call L. And If you want to lose a hand, you can touch whatever you want. Not that I would recommend it, because, you know, the potion for growing a limb is quite nasty. So, do want you want you prefer, but remember some of the stuff here have some dangerous curses", says while turning around and walks between mountains and mountains of books till he arrives to a big desk and disappears.

"Hey, is it just me or everything in here is big? And, did he just say 'dangerous curses'? I think we should go. Like now", says Eva to her sister.

She turns toward the exit when something blocks her way out. She looks up and she realizes that it's not a thing, but a person. Lucien bends down until his mouth is near Eva's ear and whispers:

"I didn't think you would be a coward. Where is your spirit of adventure?" Then, he winks at her.

Eva takes one step back and, with a frown, turns back. 'Jerk', she thinks.

"Well, well. Look what we have here, Darius. The Drakos sisters. Finally," says a voice coming from behind a mountain of objects piles up on the desk, where Darius has disappeared. "What do you think? Am I right or I am right?"

Eva and Leah turn toward the voice to find a very interesting man. He looks younger, with an aura of an elder. He has long white hair and no beard. He's wearing a white tunic with gold embroidery on it. And most peculiar of all, the tattoo that runs along the right side of his face and that goes from his hair to the edge of the tunic around his neck.

"And you are?" asks Leah, although she already knows the answer.

"I'm the Librarian, L for friends. Who are you expecting?"
