2 The Library
Suddenly, the bell rings. Someone is at the door.
When Leah opens the door, a young man stands there, looking at everything but her. He is quite handsome, but too young for her.
"Hello. You are?" asks Leah.
"Oh, hi. I'm Lucien, son of Jordun and Meredelle. I'm here to welcome you."
"Oh, you're a werewolf."
"We prefer shifters," corrects Lucien. He is trying to look inside, like if he is looking for someone. In fact, he doesn't know what he is looking for. It's like something inside him is telling him that he has lost something and it's in that place. Something precious. "Did you come alone?", he says, hoping that the answer is 'no'.
"Oh, no," says Leah, happy that he had changed the subject. "My sis—"
Leah starts when a loud noise comes from upstairs.
Boom!
"—ter is upstairs. Wait a moment", says Leah. She walks away, not closing the door, and approaches to the stairs. There she yells, " Eva, are you ok?"
"Yes, I'm fine. Everything is fine. Just…", starts saying Eva as she goes downstairs but stops when she sees a guy at the door. A handsome one, if it counts. Although he is very tall and muscular, the first thing she noticed was his eyes. Vivid green eyes with a little touch of yellow. It's quite a contrast with his brunet hair.
"¿Hi?", says Eva a little insecure, as she sees how the guy starts walking towards her.
"Hi. I'm Lucien", he says while he bends down, takes her hand and kisses it. He glances at her in a lazy way, happy that he has finally found what he was looking for even though he didn't know it. Her. A beautiful redhead who will soon be his. A little possessive, but it is what happens with swifter Alphas.
He keeps looking at her, as if fearing that if he looks away, she will disappear, as he says, "It's a pleasure to meet you."
However, Leah, who has been enjoying the scene, realizes that her sister has something in her hands.
"Sorry to interrupt this sweet exchange but, what is that?", she says while pointing to Eva's hand.
"Oh, this? I find it in my room. It's a letter, but it doesn't say who wrote it," she says as she hands the paper over to Leah.
The paper looks old, with a yellowish color. However, the ink seems to be fresh but dried. Leah scans the letter, looking for some clue of who is the writer.
"I don't get it. Here only says 'All your answers will be given by the Library' and then an address. What Library?", says Leah, trying to figure out what could that mean.
Suddenly, she turns and looks at her sister with a wicked smile.
"Oh, no! Don't look at me like that. I know what you are thinking. You want answers? Fine, here is mine: no", warns Eva.
"Oh, come on. It will be fun", tries to convince Leah.
"Maybe I can help. I may or may not know how to go to the Library. In fact, I should be there in an hour", says Lucien, looking to Eva.
Both Lucien and Leah stare at Eva, hoping that she will give in, and with that pressure, Eva conceals at the end.
"Okay, I will go. But let me first grab my things."

Fifteen minutes later, they arrive to an impressive building.
"Whoa, what a view!" exclaims Leah.
It looks like one of those temples that non-magical beings constructed. On the facade, four white marble columns stand out, two on each side of the large entrance through which a giant could pass. A large wooden door blocks them. It looks robust, even if it seems to be thousands of years old.
"We are here. What do we do now?", asks Eva, not quite happy. She doesn't understand what they are doing here.
"You sure are quite an anxious one," jokes Lucien as he touches with a finger her forehead. Then, he presses the palm of his hand at the door and says something that both sisters don't understand. The doors open and, turning around to face Leah and Eva, he says, "Now, we just enter. Ladies first."
They take a step forward and what they see takes away their breath.
