CH 3

Chapter 3

What appeared among the beasts was a man wearing a black robe, long, ravenous black hair, and sharp eyes. She wanted to forget him even for a moment but failed miserably.

“You are hiding here.”

The man, who was shakinga fan in one hand, laughed bitterly, and Yeon-hee quickly wrapped her son’s body.

“You have mistaken me for someone else .”

Barely holding herself from shaking out of fear, she opened her mouth, as the man took a quick glance over Yeon-hee’s humble appearance— a worn-out old apron, dull nails, and even her sandals were covered in dirt.

“I thought you left me for more?”

His hand gripped Yeonhee’s cheeks. Yeon-hee could barely open her mouth to answer.

“Scholar “

“Am i still a scholar ? Didn’t I tell you my name?”

At that time, there was a small head of a boy who grabbed the man’s sash and jumped on him.

“If you hurt my mother, I won’t standstill. “

“I will!”

“Junsu, come here.”

As soon as Yeon-hee got out of the man’s grasp, she swiftly clutched her son’s waist. However,  the man suddenly reached out and grabbed the child’s front, and lifted him up.

“What’s this?”

A shrill voice came from the man’s mouth.

“Get me down!” love you too in korean

Despite struggling with short limbs, the child didn’t avoid Lee Hyun’s red eyes 

Lee-Hyu’s bright eyes stared into the child’s, while Yeon-hee rushed towards them.

“Give me my son.”

“Son……?”

Hyun’s eyes trembled as he heard an unfamiliar word. He promptly threw the child back to Yeon-hee’s arms

Seeing this, Yeon-hee screamed while covering her eyes with her hands.

“No!”

Junsu , fortunately, was not hurt because Iri was able to run and to grab him back before he fell cold to the ground.
